What's brilliant about this fight is they know all the fighting style, Wungchun, Muytai, boxing, TKD, BJJ, all of them. Instead of arguing which style is the best, they use whatever is the most effective under the circumstance.
Donnie Yen is one of those dudes that's really trying to bring MMA stuff to his films, cause he believes that's how you would win a real fight. And since he has been I'm street fights for real, most famously where he put 8 guys in the hospital in the 90s, he knows what he's talking about.
I like the Donnie understand the ebb and flow of a fight scene. He's never invincible, just determined. You worry a lot more about someone who shows visible weariness and injury from a fight.
Donnie yen’s last fight in kung fu killer is awesome. Idk if you’ve already reacted to it yet I just found your channel. One of the best reacts to it. But I’ll definitely go back and look.
I love how they incorporate so many failed moves into the fight scenes. It helps add authenticity to the feel of the scenes, and the punishment from a lot of these strikes and slams are incredibly painful, and clearly on the edge of serious fighting. It doesn't look choreographed.
donnie's a martial art expert and learnt it since he was a kid i think it was wushu, he can adapt and learn new techniques very quickly (not sure about the bjj but realistically all arts originated as chinese kungfu anyways, bjj originated as juijitsu that came from china) thats why he learnt wing chung from ipmans son in real life for the movie.
@BT Da God I like that "ALL" cause it makes you sound like an idiot. Just to let you know lots of martial art from china are based on animals and insects, some of them based on the theory of Taoism. Since China got lots of different kind of animals and insects, I don't think people gonna travel from China to India just to observe the movement of those animals and insects which can be done in their homeland. Not sure about other religion but I'm very sure the origin of Taoism is from China. I know India has a longer history than China but that doesn't mean all of our stuff are brought from India. Bonus tip: When we are practicing the theory of Art of War by Sun Tzu ( his another name is Sun Wu, I'm letting you know just in case you though this is brought from India too XD), you guys were still fighting like ape.
They're all so good! I have watched the 1st after doing a few scenes from it but am holding off on watching them until after I've done the scenes from it
Donnie Yen is the modern version of Bruce Lee, as Bruce popularized a new style (Kung Fu) in America Donnie popularized MMA into China and even both of them have similar kicking and punching speed in their prime
Donnie Yen doing only wing chun or doing MMA is always a treat, especially when showing that he’s a built man that can take someone down. Check out Forbidden Kingdom scene of Jackie Chan vs Jet Li: th-cam.com/video/fIOepCpDzco/w-d-xo.html
It's interesting the reason why in hk films they're always wearing jackets etc is to hide the padding they wear, as they do hit each other to the body for real. Once the jacket comes off, less body contact and its nearing the end of the scene hahaha

@@TheMadAfrican1 wow damn okay so you guys know a little bit of Donnie yen.... okay 👌👌👌
This is one of the most realistic fight scene I have watched till now.
* considering the fighters are real martial artist with serious training *
I mean, I agree with you, but still really hard.
@@hugoboss3946 that's true. There are some tough moves they were using.
@@shadowemperor260 yeah but as martial artist I can tell It's pretty realistic, but I wouldn't perform a natural fight like that, still hard tho

Jessica Eye choked out Zoila Frausto with a standing arm triangle in one of her Bellator fights. It was pretty damn amazing.
Damn! Zoila is a beast too!!

Loving reaction bro :) :)
Thank you! I'm having so much fun watching these with you guys

If you love Donnie Yen fight scenes so much, you simply HAVE to check out Tiger Cage II.
Donnie Yen is the modern version of Bruce Lee, as Bruce popularized a new style (Kung Fu) in America Donnie popularized MMA into China and even both of them have similar kicking and punching speed in their prime
Never thought of it that way! Donnie Yen is truly incredible, with his wide variety of skills across different styles
This shows us a real fight
Raging fire end fight scene.
Nice. Check donnie vs Sammo hung spl aka killzone
Such a good fight! I just did it a day or two ago!
Straight hockey punch
It takes Hollywood over 10 years to identify and recognize actors from Asia, after they've already become superstars.
Nice reaction, please react to "IP Man 2 final fight scene".

Donnie Yen The Best Ever. 👊👊

This is a decent movie. The ironic thing is that is largely the plot of Sleeping Dogs, which Donny Yen is supposed to be making a movie based on.
I'm consider it to be Sleeping Dogs live action.
Would like to see hallway fight scene from American version of Old Boy
It's interesting the reason why in hk films they're always wearing jackets etc is to hide the padding they wear, as they do hit each other to the body for real. Once the jacket comes off, less body contact and its nearing the end of the scene hahaha
that makes sense as to why they would always be wearing jackets. I just thought 'maybe it's always cold?' haha
@@BurridgeMartialArts604 That is also partially true, especially when the winds gets going; the temperature can plummet quite quickly.
HK action films will now be found in the archives now.

The framerate on the video clip almost makes everything indiscernible, unfortunately.

The only thing that's funny in the.... fight scene was the way....they kinda acted.... don't you think?😂😂🤣🤣
I saw this one in theater in Taiwan, its actually a very bad movie but the fight scenes are great. I would recommend only skip to the fight scene.
I just bought the movie on Amazon and can't wait to watch it! I am going to try watch it on camera and do my reactions to the whole movie
is it just me or did i hear the PH theme at the intro ...
I have been informed that apparently the intro music was very similar haha! This is why I no longer use the intro anymore!!
Perhaps have the actual video fill the screen and you cam in a corner.
are you like the white version of Demetrious Johnson? =x
Haha no way! I like video games and martial arts just like him, but he is way more talented than I am!
chinese hand, like bamboo, very strong.
Donnie yen is Bruce Lee on steroids
