- After hours of playing with cables and sorting out drivers and programs and such I got the simulator setup up and running. I'll be sure to get some better footage and play some cooler stuff eventually - I've got a lot of cool stuff going on the next few days so I have to take a break from computer things. Thanks for all the positivity on the last video - and I'm sorry this is so late! Tomorrow's video will make up for it :)

You need to Download drivers for your graphics card and Nvidia experience pls up vote so he can see
Windows 10 downloads drivers for his graphics card automatically , but I recommend the drivers directly from NVidias site too
Geforce Experience potatoed my 1080, so unless he needs any of the features, go for driver only, the software is not that stable

you have to turn around the Harddrive so the Top is facing inside the pc then it fits ... have the same case.

You need to install all the drivers for the motherboard and graphics cards. You also need to flip the radiator around so the tubes are on the right so they arent as tight and putting loads of tension on the motherboard. it will also look cleaner
you have an SLI Bridge in your montherboard box, it almost always comes with one!

Hey Adam, you may be able to tuck that Barracuda hard drive near the power supply under that cover, should be a hard drive caddie there. So it will not show on either side and will allow you to use the back glass.
Also it looks ugly..
I really didn't mind the PC build stuff. I know nothing about this sort of this so it was cool to see the behind the scenes of a dope computer build.

You should consider to place the CPU fan/radiator in the front off the case, your cpu will be around 10°C colder. + its also better for the graphics card. So cold air inn from the front, and warm air out from back and top.

If you put radiator front sucking/exhausting warm air in/out, where you are getting cold air for GPU's?
a. Back.
b. Top.
c. Bottom.
d. Front.
Right answer is d. Front.
Cold air coming from front, warm air exhausts from back and top.
(Air gets warm when its going trough radiator, and water inside radiator gets colder).
You just can't have radiator at the front warming all sucked air (would be so stupid).
Conclusion:
Keeping radiator top exhausting warm air outside.
Keeping 2 fans at front sucking cold air in for Graphic cards, motherboard, ram and radiator.
Its now best as it can be.

after reading this just realized that i must of miss read the comment as you are correct even on water cooled gpu its better to suck from the front as will always have clear air flow where as top dont always
mine currently is all air cooled and has 2 front intake 1 top exhaust and 1 rear exhaust so equal pressure but actually positive as the fronts have higher air flow than the rest
Aletzr You clearly don't know what your talking about. When using a aftermarket graphics card it is a must to place the radiator in the front for optimal cooling of the CPU. This way the CPU is always getting fresh air while top and rear fans exhaust hot air from the front radiator. The aftermarket gpu will take care of itself due to it design of dumping all hot air into the case, not taking any in. The only time that placement of the CPU radiator doesn't matter is if a reference gpu design is used.
Aletzr is right. do not mount a radiator in the front when your graphics cards are air cooled

mattybeatzkidd I'd rather see Adam do BMX more than drifting, I subbed to Adam 9 months before the 240sx. In my opinion I enjoy Adam perusing his sport rather than drift, I'm not saying I don't enjoy drifting BUT I'd rather see more BMX.
Be sure to install all your drivers! Like Razer synapse, NVIDA drivers etc etc.

I'm literally about to build my own pc too - have the rest of my parts coming on saturday. I LOVED watching this because I'm in the same boat as you. I don't know how to build one and it's just gonna be a lot of fun. It was really cool seeing you in the same situation and to see how you reacted and what not. Enjoyed the two videos for sure.
I personally think it's good that you gamed in 60 Hz first, now when you switch to 144 its gonna knock your socks off. In case you don't know you need a DVI cable and right click on desktop to select nvidia control panel to access settings.
MTBProAspen CS display port cable is better
Dual link DVI or displayport, normal dvi is too slow for 144hz
sire since he has 3 monitors he's gonna hav to use 2 Display Ports, and I think the DVI Port. Or I think the 1080's hav 3 Display Ports... idk lol

ADAM ATTENTION, make sure you install all the drivers for your motherboard, gpu etc. believe me it's important. just go to the manufacturers website.

^ What this guy said. Make sure you install your drivers (especially chipset/motherboard/GPU) and get the updated ones. If you didn't install them you're probably running on the outdated Windows 10 drivers and it will in fact effect performance. Think of it like building your car and not tuning it to get the most you can out of it.
And chipset, but win10 usually fix it automaticly as soon as you connect to the internet

GPU is not "the only important"... Motherboard and chipset is importan to... Belive me :P On my old gaming pc i never updated and i was like "wtf what is it with the shitty fps" and i updated all drivers and baaaam good fps :D

Adam LZ better man than me, I have 2 radiators (1 from hybrid GPU) and more liquid cooling tubes. my case wasn't that great for cables and I never bothered to tidy it up...so props! :D

Depends which game u play. Even if u have a force feedback wheel, depends on the game. For example Assetto Corsa reacts more like the real life counterpart vs Forza which isn't as realistic. It does prepare you for real life, if you can drift in these games, you're prepared for real life, you'll need to polish yourself in the real world to get better.

yooooooooooo that cable management was legit!!! i mean its not the hardest thing in the world, but can easily tell you took your time and took pride in something that "doesnt really matter" in a pc build. i liked the last 2 vids because im into pcs, but can see how people would find it not as interesting. great first build though for sure.

It's a lot harder for me for some reason. I think the lack of Gs makes it harder to feel what's going on

just hire somebody to pull you back in your seat to make it feel more...real? lol
Adam LZ You need to really play with the settings to find your most comfortable setting. your wheel is probably set at 900° rotation which is like a workout drifting because you have to turn it all the way trying to counteract the force feedback. I suggest turning down your force feedback and wheel rotation to make it easier. I use 360° rotation with my Logitech G920.
900 is a lot more realistic, turning down the rotation would only make it harder for Adam coming from a real car.

Adam! The SLI bridge enables both 1080s to work together! You'll need it! Like the comment so he sees it
The hard drive fits if you place it upside down. An SLI brigde is often included with the motherboard, and you'll find it in the box.
