  • Exploring NYC, East Village, Manhattan, Alphabet City, Lower East Side, Walking NYC, NYC Walking Tour
    In this video, I explore East Village in Manhattan. Its a neighborhood with a hipster vibe and known for its nightlife. You will find many bars and restaurants, and lots of young people hanging around. It also has nice tree line streets. Its one of my favorite neighborhoods in NYC. Hope you enjoy this video, stay tune for more.

    Hi Manny...I am from Avenue C...sorry I missed the live...you did a good job filming..you really are making better and netter videos. When I was a child...the pumps would be wide open and boys would talk tin cans open at both ends and spray water...... the Police place sprinklers on the pumps( fire hydrants) so the there is less water wasted.

    used to live there and it was my favorite that I had lived in. It was much hipper though in the 80's and 90's. Overpriced now and a lot of poser people. Very convenient to everything!

      Wasn't it a bit of a dump back then?

    • @richardgrobertson5293
      @richardgrobertson5293 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@armorpro573 yes it was but it was still great . It was scary in the 80's and the 90's were much better. It is really nice now but the overall hip neighborhood feel from back in the day is gone. It has gone a little generic in my view but that is just my opinion. It was so nice to have a floor through railroad apt for $1100 a month. I;m not kidding!

      @@richardgrobertson5293 What was the biggest "culture shock" you've noticed from then to today?

    • @richardgrobertson5293
      @richardgrobertson5293 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@armorpro573 no culture shock because it is very diverse and has been. The huge influx of college students and high income people. This has been ongoing for many years especially from 2000 on! Development and revitalization of many buildings has exploded and that is a good thing thing for everyone except renters! Everything is expensive and the soul of the past EV is fading. Not very unique for many now except newcomers.
