Getting Our Bucks Ready For Breeding Season

In this video we are getting our bucks ready for breeding season. We run our bucks on the scale and deworm them if they need it. We also trim their feet to make sure they are good to go. It is important that your bucks are feeling healthy so that they can preform well and cover all of your does.
We also talk about several different tips to getting your whole herd ready. By putting your bucks across the fence from your does will make the bucks start rutting and putting of pheromones for the ladies. The pheromones that the bucks put off will make the does want to start cycling. We will be doing this for one week and then we will be adding one of our bucks in to kick off breeding season!
