- The Ferrari 550 GTS racing Le Mans in wet conditions. Not the fastest lap but the naturally aspirated V12 is still making quite a bit of music.

I was watching an onboard from the M4 GT3. This notification popped up, I came straight to this video 😂😂😂

This one
Driven by Valentino Rossi?
@@alterior8869 the m4 isn’t only driven by rossi
@@alterior8869No his cousin Rolentino Vassi
this takes me back to GTR2. I thought the car sounded good back then, but turns out the (rather old) game wasn’t doing it justice. This video though - mindblowing audio!
What a beasty sound
The quality of the videos is incredible, never stop uploading this content!! thank you
Easily my favorite channel on TH-cam. Your work is masterful 🤯
Love this and I am a Corvette guy. The Pro Drive vs Corvette battles were fun, 2 well run teams with cars that had such different sounds. The variety is what has made sportscar racing so much fun. Saw them battle it out at Sebring and Road Atlanta.
At first watch I was surprised how light and early the braking was - then I realized its because of wet conditions. Kudos my friend, amazing video
So good. You can see how careful they have to be in the wet.
why unlisted? this is fantastic...
I had a framed picture of this car with the autograph of the drivers. I think it was Fabrizio Gollin Miguel Ramos and Matteo Cressoni. Someone had thrown it away. Until today, this was my best trash find!
thank you robert for filming this car on this track. i also really liked the camera angle, i was able to get a better look at the footwork.
ps: were those post it notes on the dash/steering wheel?
Beautiful. And a bit surprised you need to heel & toe in such a "modern" car.
My high school years as a motorsports fan.
Can you extend the walk around of the vehicles plus maybe an outside mounted camera perhaps
What kind of audio equipment are you using? Unbelievable!
reminds me of the many hours playing GTR by simbin..
it's so sad that we don't build car like that anymore, not only because of the v12, but, everything else
Glorious
It is I, the algorithm whisperer, who has wrestled the YT algorithm into prioritizing Robbert’s videos. I am at the height of my powers. None shall deny me the pleasure of a performance by Robbert and his capable team.
What is the green prototype car ?
What a lucky man. 😐
I came.
i really need to become rich 😅
The fact that this channel only has 70k subscribers is a disgrace. Thank you so much for the videos and effort you and your team put in 💙💜❤
In general, people don’t care about such videos. What gets you views is the overly social videos where people talk about what ever.
Only the people who watch this kind of videos can achieve this masterpiece. You need to dig for it.
TH-cam doesn't revolve around you bud..
I didn't know this channel... video suggested by TH-cam, first video watched, immediate subscription 😍
Oh my god I love this car since I was a little kid!
Hi jardier!
2:07 that downshifting.. 🤩
got to be the most perfect downshifts ive ever seen!
It's a fucking melody!! 😢🙏
orgasm of a downshift
that boy dancing lol
Gives me goosebumps. The good kind! 😀
Gotta love a sequential gearbox! 😎
V12 N/A is what we love buddy!
A symphony
he's clutching on downshift?! i thought you don't have to on a sequential gearbox?! :)
@@Laurent312 you dont want that unnecessary wear after all, also maybe the controller doesnt have revmatching. happens on some old cars
@@Laurent312even with sequential gearboxes, cars can stall
Your channel is a GEM for any car enthusiast. Absolutely incredible POV and sound quality!
Audio quality is mind blowing
this channel never misses! would love to learn how all the mics/camera/audio is set up in these videos, quality is insane
Such a hidden gem of a channel. Robbert never disappoints, thank you for the effort in each video you put out!
I've always loved the way the 550s sound. Incredible video.
Stunning footage, I'd kill to see this level of video quality for the SALEEN S7R GT1
Same here
sounds so beautiful
"Don't crash the car. Don't crash the car. Don't crash the car. Don't crash the car. Don't crash the car. Don't crash the car. Don't crash the car. Don't crash the car. Don't crash the car. Don't crash the car. Don't crash the car. Don't crash the car. Don't crash the car. Don't crash the car. Don't crash the car. Don't crash the car. Don't crash the car. Don't crash the car. - The driver probably.
Meravigliosa, un suono da brividi 🏁🇮🇹
The videos are THE BOMB!
Thank you!
Does rain follow this man around Europe!? What music it makes though.
Everything Prodrive produces is spectacular
Proper sound!
that SOUND
Dear Robert, I Hope that one day you and your team be able to catch a Murcielago GT1 ONBOARD. It trully is a simphony of cylinders and a beauty of build. Thx for the amazing work.
Nice.
how you dont have more subscribers is baffling me, such good quality of video and sound, just incredible
Super cool. Machines and videos. That's a great sense. And I wanted to build a plastic model of this machine🤗🏆✨
So on sequential gearboxes you could still use the clutch for downshifting and upshifting?
I was scrolling through here to see if someone had more insight since it's always fascinated me, but from what I understand in racing cars with sequential gearboxes you don't "need" to use the clutch for either up or down shifts. Kind of similar to how cars with paddle-shifters don't require you to use a clutch, but instead of a computer matching RPM after a shift, it's up to the driver's inputs instead. In this case you can see he doesn't use the clutch on upshifts but does when downshifting. Pretty sure that's only so he can engine-brake to help slow the car down, so it's not required/won't upset the gearbox as long as you don't overrev on a downshift. That being said, it might be a case where he is upshifting at the right RPM which negates the need for a clutch in most situations, similar to "slip shifting" on a 6-speed. Happy to be corrected by someone else as my knowledge comes from youtube and lots of simracing.
amazing video! beautiful sound
You guys never disappoint! Always great audio, video, editing and of course the impeccable driving we get to enjoy. I appreciate the art you guys create
How is it that u are able to drive all these amazing cars? Do people just let u drive in their car or how do you do it?
Best channel on youtube for true motorsports fans
At first I couldn't believe what I was seeing, I checked below which game it was... 😀 It has a beautiful sound, especially at 0:14 when it changes to 2-3
I'd listen a 24h loop of this !
This needs to be added to gt7
V12 Ferraris are the best!
Dream machine 😍
That ferrari looks amazing. I'm wondering if this around 2004?? With the late Colin McRae driving?? I may well be completely wrong
👏🏼👏🏼 Top! 🔝🔝 Robbert never disappoints.
This 550 is amazing and I love these Prodrive wheels. I have a 5 hole version of those on my GTA so a bit biased...:)
The best financial advice! (Just for the algorithm lol) Awesome sound 🔥🔥Dream car!
I think this is the first video I've seen on this channel where the driver is being mindful of conditions/other drivers and not trying to constantly push like it's a videogame. Still have yet to see a video that isn't wet, though 😅
I know it's intended to hold the driver secure so they don't bump or ride it, but I still ended up being distracted by watching the left foot to see if they ever took it away from the clutch. They do not. At some point I blurted out, "dude, get your foot off the clutch" hahaha
Why does it sound similar to the Aston Martin DBR9🤔 Great video btw.
amazing, please upload more laps! Want to know how it continued...
Seems he really struggled to get grip from those tyres. Epic video as usual thx for sharing !
That shift speed is nuts.
DEAFENING. You would be sick of the noise after a few hours.
Fantastic car, fantastic video! Thanks for sharing this. GT-1 was the best of times.
Imagine if uploading this to Spotify, I'd listen it everyday on my way to work
Clutching the downshifts only! Cool, I never realized that! Sounds incredible!
I dont even have a car, but i know that track by heart by simply playing gran turismo 7 😅
Fantastic video! I cant wait for the day you get behind the wheel of a Lexus LFA!
I love this car. But sadly, this is the most Underrated V12 Ferrari.
Quality footage, this is amazing!
Amazing car and fantastic video! What's the wheight of this car?
Omg the noise is amazing and super cool gearbox👍👍
waiting for silly comments.... i see video i click 🥱
Sounds like a high raving Honda Civic with a tin can exhaust. 🤣
This and the DB9R must be two of the coolest GT cars ever
Some outside drone shots paired with the audio would create some cool views on these cars while on track!
It's hard to compete with a crispy N/A engine note such as this.
why is he not using the clutch for upshifts? can someone please explain
Bro just casually racing the most legendary cars in history
I just had an eargasm and even from my tablet tiny speakers 😎
There is just something about the sound of a V-12
That's the stuff I would like to see in Le Mans Ultimate.
Wow, just wow !
Bro was short shifting and hit 280+ on the rain 😲
Not gonna lie, when he gets to go full throttle this is so nice one could almost cry. :')
Reminds you of GTR2 right?
Sounds great with decent speakers!
so who won? i was pinching my throttle foot all video haha
Another masterpiece to the eyes and ears... Thanks you
Perfect car for the perfect track. Man tant downshift.
Ever since I first saw this car race, I've loved it. Always great to see them flat out years later!
I have never seen a speedometer that has decimals…
balls to the wall in a 550, in the wet
fantastico
wow this must have been insanely slick.
cars are safe enough to have all of the chicanes removed.
OMG what I would do to drive one of those one day!
Car looks like a mix of Viper and Nissan 🤔☺️
Isn't the left leg his? teach her to press the brake :)
awesome video.. I notice no clutch movement
RIP Colin McRae he raced one of these at Le Mans
