Show us some 4wd trips (take some notes from 4wd247) Next if you want to make a lot of money, go into talking every week about new things that you interested in a singular location, example (unboxtherapy) they have the same look in most to all of their early vids, make a desk set up that you can talk on. Still keep it on yourself, no one really cares about anyone else. Also you need to now show, and not tell. It’s the best thing on TH-cam, show us stats, examples and b-roll footage, with you voice over the top of the video, watching you talk can only take you so far, plus if every video is like this I feel that I’m being told which is boring rather than being shown. Hi there. I have watched this video a couple of times and I am not sure which way to go. I have the MR Triton as well and am slowly setting it up to be a touring/towing vehicle which will tow a small hybrid caravan. I do not anticipate doing any deep river crossings or any hardcore 4wd driving but want the ability to go and see places off the beaten track. I was not considering getting a snorkel but this video has raised the question of whether I should get one to be on the safe side. As you said in this video, you were not expecting to have to go through any water. How easy is it for water to enter the intake where it is located? You have had the snorkel vow for some time. Is there any pros or cons that you have noticed? Does a snorkel really improve fuel consumption? Thank you for the videos, I really like your sensible approach and advice that you provide.
Hey Richard, thanks for the kinds words. From what you've described it sounds like the Triton will be a perfect fit for your needs. I've had my snorkel for 9 months now and so far I'm happy with it! Slightly more intake noise, no notable fuel consumption difference (in my opinion) and it adds to the look of the vehicle. I wouldn't say I need a snorkel as water crossings are few and far between here in South Aus but it's certainly nice to have it just incase. For the sake of $500 I'd say its worth it 👍
Hey man got a question this might be out of ordinary but I’ve currently got stock genuine mitzy snorkel but I want to change it to safari like yours do you think it’s possible? I know the current hole is higher location than the V-spec safari placement Also can ARMAX fit MQ Triton? Cheers man
Hey Mate, honestly I'm not sure. From what I hear though the genuine snorkels aren't watertight so you can still get water in it if you fully submerge it.
Oh nice we have RTM over here in WA too.. always wondered what it was.. right next door to an Anaconda too.. After doing a bit of research from what i gather its owned by Jaycar

Have you looked into getting an ecu tune? Seem pretty good bang for buck.
From what I hear people are getting good results but personally I've never felt the need for the extra power 👍
You’re doing awesome, far triton coming in a month. Any plans for engine mods?
At this stage I'm looking at keeping it stock. With a 7 year warranty I'll play it safe :)
