Sometimes people have to look beyond the what and ask why: Societal expectations for women to remain young looking at all costs. I made a further comment below, but if men were as accepting of woman aging as women are of men, it would be a whole different world. Love yourself, and lose that haters.

This isn't about age this isn't about anything other then Madonna having horrible plastic surgery, Like i heard some one say,maybe she should have ate right and took care of herself rather then trying to buy a fresh look that went so so wrong.

To all the people saying that it is not ageism or misoginy, let me tell you, what a narrow-view you have... It is indeed misoginy and ageism because when a woman "ages gracefully" she is also criticized, I've read and heard thousands of nasty comments about older women's looks. A WOMAN CAN'T WIN! That is the thing, if you get surgery you are criticized and if you don't you're criticized as well, Madonna knows this very well, and that's why she does what she wants regardless of what people may say. She's broken so many rules, and she's gonna do that until she's gone.
Plus, I still see her main facial features, people are ridiculous, she's always looked radically different even from one year to another, and the most ridiculous thing is when I see people who pretend to compare her face to how she looked at 40, She's almost 65! It blows my mind how this woman has pushed, "be yourself, be confident with who you are, don't cave or conform", blah blah blah. Seems hypocritical when you are unrecognizable as you! The one knock on Madonna that I have ever heard is when she dumped her three dogs at a shelter when they got old and sick, and she didn't provide the funds for their health care- this was so sad, so evil/ unethical really. As far as for her face, she looks like she has had bad plastic surgery/other procedures, like many famous men and women. Men who have been criticized for this include Simon Cowell, Billy Crystal, Will Ferrell(his bad eye plastic surgery took away most of the expressiveness of his face- so sad- he should have stayed natural), Kenny Rogers, Carrot Top, Michael Jackson, and many others.
Kenny's droopy eyes were sexy. After he had plastic surgery, he looked like he was startled all the time. Couple that with his huge weight loss and he looked like a stranger.

Madonna labeled the backlash wrong. Judging by the comments on her looks, its more about people being against plastic surgery and her not choosing to let herself naturally age. Which now she's suffering the consequences for misblaming it. Despite incorrectly blaming it, at the end of the day its her body. People all have their interpretations of what is beautiful and there will ALWAYS be a group of people that aren't pleased regardless. I hope she is personally happy with her look and not letting societal pressure make that judgement.
