I made a RODGER DODGER, IN TO A 4×4, all I did was used wheels from one car and fitted them to the steam punk R.D. NO NEW PAINT, JUST WORKED THE FRONT WHEEL WELLS. IT TURNED OUT NICEY NICE. WISH U COULD SEE IT..... THANK YOU SUPER D......I LOVE THIS STUFF & ALL YOUR SKILLS ✌

Miles better than the original to be honest, and I like the fact you're experimenting with different techniques and materials... I still a HUGE diorama with ALL the apocalyptic vehicles you'e done would be amazing....

BaremetalHW sent me here, so glad! I love it! I live in the high desert in America, the sun and blowing sand is absolutely *brutal* on paint jobs. I think the dashboard paint ding could have worked as well, either way. Dashboards in the desert sun shrink and fracture themselves into a crumbly oblivion - it's not unusual to see "Desert Bombers" - basically barely street legal off road vehicles - that have cracks big enough to hold a beer can... or six! The cars get stripped down to the primer, but they don't rust much at all. If you want some photos, let me know!
We also do a LOT of dirt track racing, so there are beat to crap old racecars around, thoroughly annihilated demolition derby cars - and a lot of times, the Desert Bombers are works of Hillbilly Ingenuity art.
Your eye for detail is spot on. The chain looks great, and that initial rust wash added really interesting texture under everything. Like your style, guy :)
Extra credit for hitting the butterfly valves with some red paint. That blower has that divot on the other models as well; just a messed up design. If only I spent as much time doing as I do watching....
One thing I never get, but that is probably me, is that people fit huge engines to cars that supposed to exist in a post apocalyptic setting where you can imagine gasoline will be scarce! Other than that: nice work ;)

It reminds me of the late 60s, early 70s hot rod depictions when I was a kid, with that huge engine and blower sticking up out of the hood... only thing missing is the big road rage monster sticking up out of the sun roof... something like Taz (Warner Bros. Tasmanian Devel character). I always understood every word Taz said. Still looking forward to some Steampunk art from you hoss.

Great work, but I think you need to pay more attention to the scale of items that you add. For instance, the size of the spikes are really huge in relation to the car scale!
That kart you took the motor from has a gimmick. That dent in the top of the motor is supposed to be there, it’s to hold a golf ball. The gimmick is, you can use it as a golf tee. Get it? Tee’d off.
You made a mistake in that those kinds of tractor fenders are not steel. They are a polyurethane material for high impact resistance and shape retention, so they do not rust. Otherwise great!
I'm wasn't sure about the mud guards to start with , but what the hell , that is just awesome Danny .... And who needs to see out of the front windscreen anyway .... just drive like a maniac I'm sure everybody else woukd get out of the way of this beast ! 😈
No, I'm a hillbilly - just a well spoken one, but we'd say, "That ain't nothing! Wait'll you see *this*!" And put a full size tractor trailer/lorry engine, in a mid-size pickup. I'm not kidding, we do that - it's fun!
