You can change your firing mode with a single keybind. You need to change 'Open Weapon Wheel' from 'Long Press' to 'Press', change the key-bind to 'T', and change the key-bind for 'Weapon Wheel Right' to 'T' as well. You can obviously use a different bind than T if you want like a mouse button or something, but T is what I use. Hope this helps and that your move-in goes smoothly.

The cooldown between actions, the time to move the station, the fact that you can't correct your vote on a dinamic war map that a lot can happen in 24 hours, the time to fund actions, the nothingness of the orbital blockade action, those are ALL more bad things than just the orbital bombardment. The Eagle storm was a good thing on top of a LOT of bad stuff that could easily be better

Ragdoll in this game in general is giga obnoxious as a whole. For every time it funny to see a dead bot or bug being yeeted into space there's a hundred times dying to some absolute BS ragdoll shenanigans. Ragdoll should be corpses only, period.

I think you should try the Eagle Strafing Gun vs bots. It actually one shots Fabricators (and since it aims away from you it has a lot of extra range). It also one shots most bot units. With some luck even Hulks (not usually, but happens) and Tanks (the AoE hits the tank vents on the back, one shotting them more often than not). And the 5 uses is a lot. I basically don't play without it anymore. I often combine it with the 500kg or Rocket Pods to kill heavies, and it's so nice to get the lower CD from manually reaming with 1-2 uses remaining as well. I just don't take a backpack then, but that's obviously preference. I even take it vs bugs sometimes since it's so good at clearing anything that's not a bile titan and has more uses and shorter call in time than 500kg or airstrike. Example full loadout: Eagle Strafing Gun Eagle 500kg 120 Barrage Spear Primary: Counter Sniper Secondary: Plasma Pistol Grenades: Thermite
I've had very inconsistent results with Strafing Run on fabricators. Sometimes it one shots them, sometimes they'll eat three. Bombing Run is significantly better at fabricator clearing, IMO.

In multiplayer the eagle storm feels even more effective since there are more enemies and looking at the stats the host has like over 400 kills while the rest of the team barely gets 100

imho the DSS should have been "here is a planetwide bonus strategem you can call in on top of your normal loadout" "here is a booster your team can have on top of your normal loadout(s)" "here is where all the secondary objectives are, or something else useful but not gamechanging" i dunno like the orbatal barrages are pretty funny but i really think they overthought this thing lol.
I'd personally like to see the DSS strategems be more player controlled. I think it would feel cooler to call in a squad of eagles to deal directed damage or a targetted barrage on an objective instead of just taking pot luck that they hit something important and not just you or a teammate. The eagle storm is great despite the friendly fire. As a mission leader i got over 650 kills while everyone else got around 200 due to the eagle storm.
I can see why you would a shield generator here, especially solo on this difficulty. But personally I prefer to pair Railgun with Ammopack and anti-explosive medium armor on bots. With that armor there aren't many threats to oneshot you, and Ammopack on top of extra ammo, allows you to stim every time you get hit. Not an actual immunity, but it's really survivable.
I Helped in disabling the TCS back in the day but have not played since And and also it would be cool if when the eagle storm was happening you would have unlimited eagle airstrikes with no cooldown

If they make the bombardment cooldown the same as Eagle Storm and make them at least targeting enemies strongholds, or at least have them bombard a certain zone in the map, it'll be way better.
Hellpod space isn’t that bad for group. Usually it’s Vitality/hellpod space/sprint/stim boost for the “optimal” load out in 4 mans and this gives your team a bit of wiggle room

I've played with the Orbital Blockade DSS effect, and it is indeed kinda boring, it's nice that it invites more booster variety in a team, but kind of a shame we depend on Super Earth's finest weaponry technology for just that.
