I don't think the Blitzer synergizes with Jump Pack and Scout Armor. Jump Pack creates distance while Blitzer needs closer proximity. Scout Armor also didn't appear to do anything substantial in this specific mission when your primary requires up close confrontation.
In this case I agree with you(since its a solo full clear) but its a common misconception that Scout is some sort of sniper only perk when it in fact synergizes extremely well with close range weapons since the Scout perk lets you get very close to enemies before they start reacting to you which is obviously great if you are running around with a shotgun or something that is very effective in CQC. On the other hand I would ask why you would want a armor with the Scout perk if you are going for mainly long range combat? If you are keeping your distance from the enemies they wont detect you before you start shooting, even if you were running around with a heavy armor.
The issue is jumping into combat with it, which you should be actively trying to minimize or avoid altogether. I think the best use of Scout armor is avoiding aggro as much as possible and using big boom strats to close up bug holes, etc. If/when you inevitably get caught in an unavoidable battle, yeah that's when you whip out Blitzy Boi as your "nuke the enemies in front of me" button before a quick getaway. But it's not an armor that does well with sustained combat.
31:18 the napalm was a flop because of how they’ve coded the pouncer and Hunter “pounce animation.” Instead of the bugs jumping to a specific point to close the gap, they lock onto you. If you jump during the initiation lf an enemy pounce they will fly with you as if connected by an invisible tether. So it drags the breeches out further than expected and that is why everything was pulled free from the napalm and it flopped.

Crossbow - MG-43 - Thermites - 500kg - Orbital Gas - Jump Pack - plus 2 nades and less recoil armor and any secondary i feel like has become my nobrainer build vs Bugs.
I feel like crossbow and purifier are very similar, yet people in the comments only talk about the former? Crossbow has higher aoe radius, purifier has bigger magazines - both perform about the same in terms of aoe damage on big packs. But on top of that purifier brings versatility with the uncharged rate of fire and being able to shoot point blank and not kill yourself. Crossbow can be one-handed, opening up an option for a ballistic shield but obviously bringing opportunity cost, which I can't usually justify. Can anyone change my mind?
VS Terminids, Blitzer is S-tier. It's my primary on every Terminid world. Period. No other option for me, whether I play solo, lone wolf, or in a group. No matter the mission type. S-Tier.
In regards to Chargers and the AMR, the Buffdivers patch actually made all weapons MUCH more effective against Charger butts, so with the AMR, a single mag into the ass pops it, and if that doesn't kill it, it'll bleed out shortly after. Live out your dreams of being one of those guys that holds the red handkerchief and taunts bulls.
I’ve mained the Blitzer a lot on bug 10s. The main benefit is flinching the Alphas and Stalkers. ADS will pop Alpha heads really easily since it’s so big and up front. It’s not perfect though and I’ll swap primaries if the operation has Shrieker patrols
The Blitzer feels really good in situations it is well suited to, and makes you feel absolutely helpless when it is not well suited to something. It can't kill eggs at all, doesn't even hit them. It's also worse than the crossbow at dealing with Shriekers and that says a lot. I've always been torn on where to rank it. I feel like the Cookout plays the same role, but does it way better and is at least useful in nearly all situations. So I think the Blitzer is A tier for group play and B tier for solo play in my books. These days, I don't feel like it ever reaches into S tier.
the reason it does less damage is definitely the balancing. faster kill time with multi-hit would be too good. i think it's in a great state at the moment and not to mention the stagger buildup.
Biggest weaknesses it has is range, and big groups of small enemies. I tend to pair it with something that can provide fire support, either a teammate or a turret. Helps it do it's job of consistent heavy stunning hits pretty well
If you're wondering yes the AMR is extremely busted on the terminid side it was instakill headshot almost every bug (even the stalkers and spore shooter guys) and it can break normal charger butts in 3-4 shots I think bile titans aswell
The blitzer is the best close quarters primary in the game. It's for crowd control and self-defense when standing ground. Exploding crossbow is terrible for those things but it kills faster and is more versatile. It just depends on your play style.
the blitzer has some situations where its straight up useless, if you take it on automatons for example thats already one situation where the only thing youll be doing is stunning them since it barely does dmg if u dont get lucky and hit the head. a thing that makes it really useless on both factions tho is when there are bodies around where you want to shoot, if you try to shoot at an enemy that is behind the body of another enemy the shot will not connect, if you try to shoot at an enemy that is behind a metal ornament like a fence or just a chunk of metal it will not connect, something that ive come up with to "fix" this issue is shooting straight up at like a 50º angle on top of the enemy, generally it works for chunks of metal but its just useless on bodies. (and dont get confused, i dont mean the bodies or chunks obfuscating the enemy completely, just the enemy being behind them in a situation where every other weapon would still be able to hit them bc its a straight line)

But its rate of fire and its limited range just gimps its horde clearing ability way too hard. Purifier makes an ammo backpack mandatory if you dont wanna run out of ammo all the time. So many reloads... And its charged shot damage is somehow really inconsistant. Its good against Bots but vs Bugs its quite bad. Crossbow - MG-43/Stalwart - Thermites - 500kg - Orbital Gas - Jump Pack - 2 nades and recoil reduction armor (scout armor when i play with an AT buddy) and any secondary i feel like has become my nobrainer build vs Bugs.
I’ve been bringing the Verdict pistol and mag dumping it into the Alpha Commanders to speed up the kills when using Blitzer. I use armor that gives extra grenades in lieu of grenade pistol. Maybe try it?
Hey, since you don't need ammo for your primary you should give the Blitzer another chance with the Guard Dog, compensates the lack of fire rate quite nicely 🙋♂
I've found that the Blitzer, kind of like the Halt, pairs well either with an attentive squadmate or with one of the Guard Dogs - the stun is good, but the damage output and wonky targeting mean DPS suffers vs. something like the Punisher or even the Liberator. Blitzer + GD Rover is a solid choice for a no-fuss backup weapon; unlimited ammo for both means you can just switch and let the stuns happen, to buy yourself some space or time when using something like the MG-43 or HMG. You seem to be able to get some pretty incredible distance out of the jump pack - how do you do it?
I don’t get what’s so great abt crossbow tbh. Like, it’s just constant reloading, and the time between shots is really similar to the 15 shot, larger explosion Purifier, and the only downside to it is that Purifier can’t close bugholes and crossbow can.
You should make a behind the scenes type video with rage moments lol you don’t seem like the type of guy to rage anyway but it would be cool to see a different side of takibo
I feel like its better in squad play to give yourself and your team more time. Especially if running with people using spear/quasar/RR etc to focus the heavy units
seems for the pouncers you need to aim between them to get the multiple arcs, otherwise it just hits the front one. i forgot about the commando too. I would have dropped a commando onto the nest lol
Honestly, the limited range on the blitzer is its biggest downfall here, you have the basis of a great kiting build and it's not really able to do much because of Blitzer's limited range simply due to how easy it is to close the gap for most bugs. That and the slower fire rate means it's going to struggle in those "oh shit" type scenarios where you REALLY need something that can actually fire fast when stuff starts closing in on you.
You should do a video on the AMR on bugs. I tried it a few times and it was hella fun. It oneshot pretty much anything weaker than Charger and Bile Titan.
Tbf, the crossbow isn’t great at all when things get close range, it’s just it over shines so much in every other scenario, and closes bug holes/fabricators, also destroys a lot of the bug “buildings”
Get the light armor that reduces explosion dmg by 50%. All I’ve been using is the crossbow. It’s just too good compared to other weapons. Biggest downfall was accidently blowing myself up when bugs are too close. However, the armor will literally give you a second chance from this. Run it with recoiless, napalm barrage, 500kg, cluster bomb and dagger. Dagger is actually pretty good against small bugs and shriekers since the crossbow will struggle with streakers.
@@awildgrendel7148 Instead of taking the explosion armor I ALWAYS go for the 50% chance to survive death armor I'm not joking this is THE BEST armor in the game, the amount of times this armor has saved me in many situations is nuts

IMO, The blitzer's rate of fire is too slow to be s tier for high level bugs. Especially when you're on a map with a bunch of hunters and little dudes rushing you non-stop.
Hi, did the Blitzer got any changes within the 60 Days patchseries? I played around with it earlier, it was okay cc wise and cause it has infinite ammo, but didnt liked it against flying enemies and the dmg felt allways a bit to low.
I think it's really good, but I think you loadout doesn't complement it well. I'd seitch out the jumppack and commando for a recoilless and a machinegun sentry. This way you can abuse the bitzers stagger to hold your ground and let the sentry dish out damage. Snd then keep the sentry safe using the recoilless as needed.
I’ve used this build for super helldive and it’s worked out pretty well. Primary - crossbow Secondary - redeemer Grenade - thermite Stratagems - arc thrower - orbital gas strike - jump pack - 500KG bomb Arc thrower can control bug breaches on its own and the crossbow just gets everything else done the thermite is good for heavy armour, works well with arc throwers stun
I don’t think the crossbow is perfect in every situation. It’s kind of horrible on maps where you have lots of little flying bugs on your ass. It becomes too easy to frag yourself.
Purifier is still king on the bug front though, the splash damage is basically as good if not better than the crossbow, so you can damn near destroy a entire first wave of small-medium bugs with just your primary….it knocks them back too so it kinda stuns them just like the arc damage
The blitzer is easily the most over-rated gun in the game by the community. Everytime i use the blitzer i wish i had brough something else, no clue why people say it's the "best gun on bugs" or anything similar. Gun is ok for staggering things but the damage is too low and inconsistant, like in this video where sometimes it 2 shots a alpha commander and other times it takes 6+ shots. Can't aim the gun, so it often kills things you don't want it too, putting you at more risk of dying to the actual enemy you wanted to kill. Gun gets bugged out by dead bodies causing it to just not function at all because it shoots a dead body. Kills chaff units too slowly leading to more bug breaches or patrols because fights take too long. Not needing ammo and CCing enemies is nice but there's kinda just better options for both of those things. Laser weapons just kill things faster while also not needing ammo, and most of the shotguns and plasma guns have more stagger, while also letting you actually aim meaning you can stagger the thing you want to stagger 100% of the time.
2-3 business day blitzer shots and nothing for swarms. Cookout shotty, flamethrower 500kg. Orbital gattling barrage and supply pack is a better loadout mate

It's good but it's slow and you're left without a shrieker option
How did you get your recticle to be green?
Try out the stalwart as a support weapon, its really good against the swarms.
Hi, did the Blitzer got any changes within the 60 Days patchseries? I played around with it earlier, it was okay cc wise and cause it has infinite ammo, but didnt liked it against flying enemies and the dmg felt allways a bit to low.
If u take a guard dog rover it's really great
It felt better imo before the 60 day patch. It's reload is slower now, but it has more stun.
And as secondary I'm using the quasar cannon and I never had any issues
I think it's really good, but I think you loadout doesn't complement it well. I'd seitch out the jumppack and commando for a recoilless and a machinegun sentry. This way you can abuse the bitzers stagger to hold your ground and let the sentry dish out damage. Snd then keep the sentry safe using the recoilless as needed.
Also never let go of the shooting button when using the blitzer
Its freedom time🎉
27:20 Incoming jumpscare
can the blitzer stop the stalkers on track?
edit: nvm it does
The Blitzer is useless against shriekers. The cookout however...
I’ve used this build for super helldive and it’s worked out pretty well.
Primary - crossbow
Secondary - redeemer
Grenade - thermite
Stratagems
- arc thrower
- orbital gas strike
- jump pack
- 500KG bomb
Arc thrower can control bug breaches on its own and the crossbow just gets everything else done the thermite is good for heavy armour, works well with arc throwers stun
how do I deal with shriekers for this loadout
Link to the tier list?
I don’t think the crossbow is perfect in every situation. It’s kind of horrible on maps where you have lots of little flying bugs on your ass. It becomes too easy to frag yourself.
Have you played darktide? Loving it atm, more than sm2 and hd2. Melee and ranged combat is so weighty and satisfying
your termite burned you to death
Why dont you pick up samples :(
the weapon is good, just incredibly boring holding down a button for every encounter
I run this loadout except grenade launcher.
Hah the ending... Sorry man
Purifier is still king on the bug front though, the splash damage is basically as good if not better than the crossbow, so you can damn near destroy a entire first wave of small-medium bugs with just your primary….it knocks them back too so it kinda stuns them just like the arc damage
17:32 best argument for nerfing the crossbow. it overshadows every other weapon, to the point where not having it feels bad, even if you're doing fine in reality
nah we've been over this, stop nerfing, just buff the underperformers
@@ippanpedrozo1162 then theres no challenge unless you buff enemies to counter act how op we'd be, which would make enemies unfun to fight and then more complaining would happen, so easiest thing to do is just slightly nerf crossbow
@@declicitous1763 like he said the crossbow doesn't need a nerf the other guns are just underperforming. The enemies also don't need a buff.
@@vanityvx. The enemies absolutely need to be buffed. Bug front is a joke that can be beaten by anything without any problems. Having strong guns is cool, but we need enemies that justify having strong guns, otherwise the game would be boring.
Genesis 1:27
"So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them."
This verse affirms that all humans are made in God's image, highlighting our shared value and dignity.😊
Ngl your bug loadout was ass for this game bro. Also the blitzer is far from s tier for bugs. Cookout shotty for bugs all day
I hate the Blitzer with a seething passion. Dunno why everyone sucks it off so much
I’m not sure if anyone is sucking it off, I think they just think it’s a fun weapon to use.
That’s a pretty fuckin weird way to describe it.
stun/stagger is valued quite highly against bugs
the blitzer can take on an inordinate number of stalkers thanks to its stun/stagger
it also aims for you and never runs out of ammo
Care to elaborate?
@@fishbowl4798
--You can't aim it, like, literally, you can point it directly at the thing you want to hit, but if there's a pouncer 4 feet to your left it'll hit that instead.
--Its fire rate is insanely slow (unlike something like the breaker variants)
--Its range is mediocre at best (unlike any of the assault rifles or DMR style rifles, or the crossbow)
--Half the time it doesn't even one-shot a jumper, let alone a hunter (and because of the slow fire rate, if it doesn't, you're in trouble)
--Its stagger is weak compared to the pump shotguns (which also shoot faster than the blitzer)
--Its way too easy to chain a zap to your teammates and kill them
--Its damage against heavier units is entirely negligible (unlike something like the scorcher, purifier, liberator pen, etc)
I have legit no idea why every content creator that makes a tier list puts it near the top. Every time I've tried to use it I've wanted to pick someone else's gun up immediately.
@@lancehaderlie9587 Dude i feel the exact same way. I feel like people only say it's good becuase everyone else also says its good and they don't want to be called out for thinking differently. Sure the stagger is nice but it takes way too long to kill enemies which causes fights to drag on and lead to dealing with more bugs, more breaches.
It's ok as like a supportive weapon to just keep things at bay while your teammates actually kill them but i'd rather just have a gun that kills the enemies in front of me so i can move on. Blitzer is like maybe B tier, it's meh it's ok and has a niche but man it has to be the most over-rated gun in the game by a mile.

plasma punisher can kill shreeker nets. im finding it the most useful primary for both bots and bugs.
