Good afternoon (or evening, or morning? Time zones are confusing-), Autumn! If you don’t mind answering them, I have 4 questions.
1. When the casting call is posted, how much time would be allowed for people to audition?
2. If someone gets the character, how would you send the script? In the same vein, how long would a casted actor have to record all their lines?
3. This question isn’t related to LWF, but I was thinking you may still be able to answer. How do you go about designing new characters, and how do you handle frustration? How long does it take for you to design them? Right now, I’m trying to design a lot of characters, I think about 19, and I’ve found my character designs don’t seem to come to me the way they should. I can feel them in my mind, but when I put Pencil to IPad, it just refuses to manifest. I’ve found the more defined the idea I have for the character, the more frustrating and difficult it is to make them to my vision- to “do them justice,” so to speak. I also feel a bit guilty about how long it takes for me to get a design I like, only to be unsatisfied with it later and getting stuck on another one. It’s okay if you don’t know how to answer me, but I would appreciate it very much if you can. Thank you in advance.
4. And to end this on a less serious note, what time zone are you in? I’m pretty sure half my comment are at like, 10:00 PM for you. XD
Hello! I’ll gladly answer your questions! :D
1: I’d say about a month, but it all depends on how many people end up auditioning, and if I find the voices that I need.
2: I would send them a link to a google document via gmail. During the auditioning phase, the actor will fill out a form, one of those questions being how much time the actor needs (1 week to 4 months).
3. Not sure how to answer that one, but I’ll try my best! Most of my main characters were designed in Animal Jam, and I never really felt a need to _redesign_ them. Over the years, I just slowly added or took away parts of their design, then I’d be happy with it until I wanted to change it again. Recently, however, I wanted to redesign the main villain of LWF, Dua. I did have a design in mind, but I couldn’t quite see to get it right. So what did I do? I just played around with it! I experimented with different colors, shapes, and markings, until I came to something I was somewhat happy with. It wasn’t _exactly_ what I had in mind, but it was good all the same. And with how long it takes you to finish your designs? Don’t worry about it! The creative process normally takes a long time, especially if you’re trying to go for something specific/perfect! (It took me a year and a half to finish just the _script_ of my movie!)
TL;DR: If you can’t figure out how to make a specific design, just experiment until you come to a design that you are proud of, even if it isn’t exactly what you originally had in mind. Hope this helped! :)

4. So I just checked that time zone, and the difference was a LOT less drastic than I thought. Mine is GMT!
@@leoto363 It took me about a day to redesign him, which was quite a bit of time, considering I only added a few simple patterns on his fur- (￣▽￣;)

@@AutumnPawsome Oh, and one more thing! Is there a specific voice you want for the characters, or are you open to different takes? For Bloom, I was doing deep but a little nasally and occasional voice cracks (like a more mature Rainbow Dash,) and for Windy, I was practicing a high voice with a light southern twang. Additionally, are you doing all three of the casting calls at once?!
