@@arsena5209 Oh, absolutely! Although I am well versed in my area of study--I still struggle dealing with Complex PTSD; however, as I've grown into the woman I am--it took some time for me to realize that my severe mental illness (although debilitating at times) can be a form of "motivation," or a driver of my passion, in regards to helping other individuals.

@@lilywhite2539Seems like PTSD has become rampant in the US. I was diagnosed with it 20+ years ago after watching most of my immediate family murdered in a mob war and I was the victim of Munchausen by proxy as well as sexually assaulted by at least one brother, mother and one sister. Being the cute, smart and loving child isn't always a good thing. What caused yours? Mine was called APTSD or accumulative post traumatic stress disorder. I don't think that's how it is referenced the same in the DSM-V.

I am the only child of a (single) birthmother with Schizophrenia (and other things). I know everyone's Schizophrenia is different, but your videos are helping me heal. It was rough growing up, because she didn't have (or want) a diagnosis, and no one believed me that there was something wrong in our home. I should say, it's a good thing for me to hear your videos. It helps me understand what happened when I was little, and that understanding helps me feel better. So, thank you.

That reminds me so much of how I’ll have one “obsession” that my OCD focuses on, like harm OCD, and then boom, new obsession. It’ll switch to existential OCD, or scrupulosity OCD, or whatever the flavor of the moment again. And old ones will cycle back again. And whichever obsession I’m currently disabled with, that’s the worst ever. Until the next one comes. It’s just a goddamn mental circle jerk.

I am just happy for you and proud you recognize what's going on, while my neighbor has schizophrenia which we believe might be drug induced, and no matter how much we record her and show her she wont believe whats going on. She moved in about 8 months ago now and in the first months we where super compassionate and worried for her now its gotton to the point where we are so annoyed with her, still worried and feel empathetic but also its frustrating and past annoying. We had to have trespassed from our property and constantly have to call the law for one reason or another on her and mainly for her own safty considering on multiple occasions we had to call because she was runnibg around naked while trying to hitch a ride throughout the neighborhood with her hallucinations. Sadly her home recently burned down, did i mention she also attacks these hallucinations physically a large percentage of the time, runs around screaming at them, dragging furniture items out of her house insisting there are people in them and once even brandished a knife and brutally stabbed and slashed two armchairs then threatened my car. She has also beat on my car and when confronted said that my car was not a car but was a female foing to attack us so she had to save us. 😮‍💨 it has been a roller-coaster with her and now she is living in her shed and in her car that she drove drunk and wrecked. I have exhausted all but one option to get her help, the last option is something called a ex parta its like a baker act. She thinks we are out to get her and harassing her. 😢 sometimes it honestly feels like it's the other way around especially when it's 2 and 3 in the morning and she's out there screaming at the top of her lungs.

That sounds like a nightmare. It's unsafe. What a dystopian nightmare that a person in distress is allowed to just deteriorate before police and people's very eyes. Did any of the intervening policemen tell you why hasn't been committed if she's clearly a danger to herself and others? What needs to happen for that poor lady (and poor neighbours..) to get help? I'm sorry, it must be nerve wrecking for you. It may be the kindest to everyone to push for her to be committed, however law works where you live.

I think I might have this ive watched some of your videos and have been thinking about what I have for a while. I went to the doctors and the GP was nice but the specialist didn’t believe me you could tell strait away and she touched a nerve asking about something in my personal life and it made me cry then basically said the stress from that was causing it when the personal thing started when I was fifteen so how could I have it as a kid. I’ve had what I think are episodes since I was like 7 or 8 the first time I remember having one I threw up from the stress. What I hear is a older woman (like head teacher vibes ) just saying my name over and over starting from a whisper going all the way to screaming and I feel like time slows down a bit but speeds up when i move or try to grab something like I pick something up normal speed and it feels like I snatch it. Another one I have is when I go for a wee at night I hear lots of people behind the door I know there not really there but I can hear them in my head and it’s coming from behind the door and there shouting things at me because I imagine that I’ve unrolled the toilet paper around my hand and I keep unrolling it until it’s nearly as big as the room and there shouting at me “your so stupid “ and “you’ll never roll that back up “ and “you’ll never get out of there “ “you’ll die before you roll that up and get out of there “ over and over again and I haven’t even touched the toilet roll yet. I get this a couple times a year sometimes I just get the speed thing. I might not have what you have it just sounds a lot like it and my mums watched more of your videos and said it sounds like how my episodes are. Sorry for this being so long. X

I know someone, my best friend, the love of my life, recently diagnosed with this. He has autism and Antisocial Personality Disorder as well as ADHD, he is a 38 year old man. He was always able to manage it, until he developed a full blown meth addiction (last 3 years) and has kicked another mental illness into overdrive, like schizophrenic symptoms but would be coming down off meth, it made him crazy. He always complained about the voices entering his head and mind speak and even went as far as death satellites following everyone. As of this week, he's been sent to a 24 hour mental hospital and will never be able to leave. Its tragic and I'm sorry you suffer like this. I'm sure yours isn't from drug use but still.

My mother’s voices tell her not to talk and so people often think she is non verbal. I tell her she is the boss of them and she can tell them she will talk if she wants. I am trying to give her comfort, but am I wrong to tell her this?

Omg im am introvert, when i want people to go away, I want them to go away! 😅
I can't imagine having schizophrenia and all those people in my head, and after I see one to the door another one knocks on it and enters!😮😫

      I have a ❓ .
Do you have the same ones all the time or do they always present themselves as someone brand new?
Is there one that has come consistently on a daily or weekly basis for your entire life? Do you like that one or do you dislike that one so is there a positive or a negative influence?

I have a very important question at least to me it was kind of a long question and every time I've asked it to my therapist or anybody else I really don't get an answer I get beating around the bush I really wish I could message you or talk to you no one around me has the same issues at least that I know of besides a couple and they're completely off the bandwagon it's not something that I can really go up and talk to him about because two schizophrenic in a room can sometimes and not very good😢

And one question I have that's a little bit shorter I've seen some of your videos on how you know that if there is a difference between seeing the dead or delusions and stuff like that my question to that is if your spirituality and stuff like that that you find for yourself that you do believe in that kind of thing and you don't want to necessarily completely shut that part down but at the same time you know for a fact in this reality and in this life it very much is or could be a delusion scientifically anyways how do you balance spirituality with reality I feel like I'm doing a really good job in my life but still some days I just feel like why is it so hard for people to understand that maybe it is especially when things are so uncanny and how do I know these things about the certain people that I've never met or know that they're even passed on when I was younger I was able to talk about a lot of things that happened and then my mom looked into it and then she got scared and put me in a mental hospital because I was talking about things that actually did happen but she didn't know how to deal with itand I know that ended up being really long also so my bad

I pray the mighty Lords voice, greater than them all seeps through & strengthen your eyes & ears to truth and light. You are amazing!!! I love you!!! I hear the voices too. They were bad but then it turned good. & even when it’s bad, it’s good that I recognize truth.

In the expansive reaches of my psyche, people perceive a desolate marketplace, a void where they congregate. Dissatisfaction breeds discord, similar to craving sustenance in barren emporiums. The brew of discontent only worsens, affecting the essence of my existence. Yet, upon replenishment, they offer kindness, anticipating greater abundance. Although, is it really different than other people and the way they exchange through life?

So my question is why take medication? If it doesn't help or does it help a little bit and drowns out somewhat of the hallucinations? But not fully seems like even though you are taking medication. You are still encountering a lot of hallucinations.
