- The weekend has arrived and we're spending it helping friends, getting ready for a market next weekend, unboxing some AMAZING things a friend sent us, and spending as much time with Missy as we can.
Gosh, this transition with Missy has been hard. We're feeling lots of emotions as the day gets closer. She's just been the sweetest girl. Thank you all for the way you have loved her!

We lost our Dixie almost 2 years ago, but we still have Daisy. She is almost 16 years old. I've noticed her limping a lot and not eating much. So we are right in the same boat with you. Praying for Missy and we love her!

Hi, Adam and Sherri. I know exactly what you are going through with your baby. We lost our small dog the end of May she was 13 then the first week of this month we had to have one of our kitties laid to rest he was 17. My husband says look at how much love and happiness they have given us over the years. This to shall pass.
Having older pets is so hard. We are in the same place with our old man dog right now. I’m a homemade dessert person all the way. It’s just my particular love language. And yes, if you showed up at my door with donuts I would love it!
Missy is an icon on this channel, and I will be praying for her.
Your table looks great with the second layout. Almost makes me want to grow a beard myself so I can buy a bottle. Some stones and fake moss would like to decorate it. Like a dry creek bed. Love the sign, what a great surprise.
I’m 100% store bought dessert bringer but I would walk in with it still in plastic and claim I made it. Big hugs to Missy.

Making the decision to put my poodle to sleep was so hard. She was my friend and companion through a tough time, and the guilt was huge even though I could tell she was going downhill. The best money I spent was having a vet come to my home to complete her life. She was not afraid, and she got to eat one last meal of all the things she loved. 😢 Sad, but so glad I had her for as long as I did. Will pray for you both ( and Missy) as you take this journey.
Also I'm so sorry about Missy I have a little cat that found us and she looks a lot like your Missy but with less white and we named her Missy. I'll hope for the best for y'all and Missy!!! Sending love and prayers
So sad about missy. We have loved and lost many cats. We have Elvis now and he loves his soups!! I think it’s their teeth ❤❤❤❤
I would say doughnuts are for breakfast. Store bought is awesome for any gathering. Homemade is great if you 1) have the time 2) for holidays and special occasions.
Big kitty lover here. Longest living cat I had was 21 years old. He was so special! Donuts are for breakfast/snack Adam. LOL

PS while I love to bake, so I usually do homemade, I have also bought a bunch of donuts to create a birthday "cake" before (just a pile of donuts with candles on top - they LOVED it) & I will also proudly take a Costco dessert any day of the week because they have the absolute best baked goods (my wedding cake was a Costco cake, and I won't even attempt to bake a pumpkin pie because Costco does them best). I also think a tub of ice cream with sundae fixings from the grocery store is one of the most fun desserts to share! There is no room for homemade snobbery when it comes to dessert!!!
Little soups made my cat sick, but she loved it. She really loves delectables.

At a certain age the kibble either needs t9 be softened with a broth or all soft foods .

Brining a cake is perfectly acceptable. My bf and I and our friends do it all the time. Donuts maybe not for dessert but cake YES!
We lost all of our furniture in hurricane sandy and have been living with stuff given to us since. We finally had to break down and get a new sofa and we went to the restore store here in central NJ and left with a practically brand new Ashley Furniture sofa with delivery and tip for $200.00!!! It’s a great place with amazing stuff don’t sleep on this place!
I walked in Barnes and Noble and walked out with nothing but a coffee 😅
I would bring one of those fruit tarts from the cake section.

We have been there 3 times now with our Dover, Lucy and Linus kitties and know exactly how you feel. We also had at home end of life care for two of them. As positive an experience as it could have been. Does that sound strange? Thinking of you both and sending lots of love from Winnipeg. Take good care.

When I was six, living with my divorced mom, and had come down with chicken pox, my dad brought me a kids’ practice chess set and a dozen glazed donuts. That was my lovely dad, may he rest in peace. ❤️

My heart is breaking for the two of you and sweet Missy Girl. I hope she is with you for a long time, but if she must cross that Rainbow Bridge, I am thankful that you have a loving plan for her. When we lost our sweet little Zelda, we had her cremated and her ashes were added to the fertilizer at the Muni Greenhouse. Last summer, we walked around Anchorage several times, taking photos of the beautiful flowers that Zelda helped create. Yes, I cried every single time, but I was happy that she was able to share her beauty with all the residents of and visitors to Anchorage. Yup, crying as I am typing. Hugs to you.💔

So much to say after watching this video! First, good luck with the festival. The table is looking great! Second, I am team homemade desserts but that is only because I love baking. Cooking, not so much. Donuts are definitely a breakfast item, but I will never turn one down if it is offered. Third, my heart is breaking for you. I will absolutely be crying along with you when Missy decides she is ready to go. My kitties are 12 and 10 and I'm already convinced I will never be able to get another cat when they are gone. I know losing them will break me and I just can't go through that multiple times. Thinking of you!

Thank you for another great video. Loved your words at the end, "Feeling a lot of life ..." I didn't know Missy has an instagram page. It is hard when we lose our four legged family members. I lost a my 16 year old cat last year (one of many over years). I didn't have someone come to the house when it was time, but my vet gave her some type of medicine to keep her calm before they administered the final meds. I was in the room and she was sitting next to me on a bench. This vet will give you an ink stamp of your pet's paw. I have that card and a photo of her in a frame on a shelf in our living room. This cat had an extra toe on each of her front paws. Can't wait to see your booth next weekend. Take care.
It's wonderful to see how much love you have for Missy. As hard as it is, she knows how much you love her & by her gestures, she's showing you how much she loves you. I tried several things to keep my girl alive, I wasn't ready to say goodbye. I will never do that again, I was selfish, she was ready to go but I wasn't, we are never ready to let go of our precious kitties. Love on her, cuddle & kiss her, she's a beautiful girl & will always be in your heart's, her fans are all wishing her peace & your TH-cam family are also praying for you both.
Oh guys….😢we had to help our beagle cross the rainbow bridge 🌈🐾🐶💔💔July 5th. He had cancer. We had a month with him before it got too much and we needed to help him 🥺🥺💔💔🌈🐶🐾….. My heart breaks for you guys.
I read articles and watched videos and an animal hospice nurse said make it epic for him so that’s what we did. We made it completely epic. We gave him cheeseburgers and took so many pictures and just loved on him to bits.
He was a rescue and my emotional support…my heart ❤️.

Looking forward to scoring one of those cool black caps and some of your beard oil! Also, the in-home euthanasia is a special way to deal with the inevitable. We did that for our Max last year and it was so special, stress reducing and a good experience. Sorry you're having to deal with this.

Y’all crack me up! I think the dessert choice depends on who’s it going to and how many are you feeding. Cookies are for kiddo involved event or a Barbque. BTW, Sherri, we’re crying with you… potentially and eventually loosing our fur babies is so difficult. Let the tears flow… she will be your little fur angel from heaven when the time comes and she knows y’all have been the best parents. Praying for you both during this transition time. ❤️🙏🏼😥
We are a mix but typically due bulk mix cookies. As doughnuts some people have stomach issues.
Although now we are thinking a container of Nutella to go with the cookie tray.

My sister never liked to make desserts, so she’d buy something from the bakery or grocery store. She would scribble out the name of the bakery or store on the container the dessert was in and replace the bakery/store name with her own. 😂. Will you be having any curved brim hats in the future? Or aren’t curved brims a thing in Alaska? Thank you for sharing so much of your life with us! I appreciate YOU!

Oh no I missed what is happening. Is Missy sick or ? What did the vet say? Praying for her & you guys. Our previous cat lived to almost 20 and there was a time we thought it was truly time but the vet was able to give him some medicine for arthritis & such and we got a couple more good years!

I had to teehee about desert. The last time we were invited to dinner with friends because their children didn't show up they said "being desert". In an hour I made berry crumble, chocolate chip cookies and lemon bars. They were expecting me to stop at the grocery store. It was my personal version of chopped!

Doughnuts could be a great dessert, but most bakeries.doughnut shops make them in the morning. It's hard to get them fresh in the afternoon or evening.
I want the donuts! I have been craving them. Yah, I would think cake or brownies and would try to do homemade. But bought is better if I don’t have time.
For dessert I do homemade sometimes but mostly purchase. And doughnuts are perfect!

Hey, , so my 18 year-old cat also wasn't eating and I thought for sure it was going to be time for her. But we took her to the vet And it turns out she had a thyroid issue. She's been on medication And is eating again And is much healthier. Could be possible That the issue could be something small. I just didn't know if you guys had tried taking her to the vet for evaluation yet Older pets are so hard Especially when they've been with us for their whole lives.
