I got the canon, have printed out 100's of 11 by 8 full color photo's, works great, still have so much ink. If this was a cheap printer I would have used 10 ink sets by now.

Just purchased the Epson ET-3850/ The ADF does not work - so frustrating. Otherwise works well. How well does the Epson 5800 ADF feature work?

    Thank you for the reviews!
I wanted the Canon Color ImageCLASS MF753 (Laser) to replace my old OkiDATA C6100 Color LED Laser. But none of these Large Printers today have a THROUGH slot for thicker material. So I opted for the Epson ST-C8000 which has the through slot and can go up to 13x19. I don't like injets because I don't print THAT often, however, I am also migrating from my old US Cutter 42" to a new Silhouette Cameo 4 and plan on doing more than just small vinyl cuts. I have been looking everywhere for anyone doing a full test and review on the C8000, but no one has; they all just repost the same video from Epson's site. :( .. I also had the Epson EcoTank Photo ET-8550 in my wish list and I my "buyer's remorse" was like: "You could have bought both the Canon and the Epson for the price of the C8000 (But Dell has them on sale for $980!!!) I've also been looking into the possibility of draining/cleaning/filling with the Sublimation ink for T-shirt prints at some point - not easy and not clean, but doable.

All of these ink tank printers purge their waste ink into a sponge in the back of the printer. Eventually the sponge becomes over saturated and the printer will stop working. A significant % of the total ink that passes thought the ink tubes is wasted. You want an ink tank printer with an easy to replace Maintenannce box. Most low cost printers do not have this.

With Epson, after a couple of years you will get a message to replace the ink pad sponge. It is easily done and costs less than $10. TH-cam videos show how easy it is. Not sure how others work.
