    was drinking a beer at the bar at nanny cay last September with my wife, this is really unbelievable damage, hope the people recover

    At 5AM.00hrs GMT BST, Wednesday 20th September 2017. The hurricane eye was at Lat.: 17°42'N / Lon.: 64°43'W. Category 1 Huricane. 77mph sustained winds. Air Pressure 974hPa. Sea Wave swell height 39.9ft. Wind gusts to 133mph. The Eye is directly over The USA Virgin Isles. 36ft sea wave swells impacting USA Virgin Ises East north and south. Potentially increasing to 40.7ft

    There are reports that a lot of the sand that surrounded the BVI has been shifted by IRMA North west and that the underwater topography of the coastline of the BVI and Florida has changed because of it ... have you taken your drone outside Nanny Cay yet since IRMA ??

      Most of those boats are bought with a mortgage by a person (like you), and then put into a "rental fleet", so that someone else (like you) who doesn't have a boat, can rent it and sail around the BVI. The boats are making zero income, but the mortgage still has to be paid.
