I'm usually not a fan of "rich people" nor am I impressed by their mansions, but this couple seems very down to earth and humble - and their home is a spectacular piece of art. Not gaudy. Not trendy. Just real art - a house with a soul! Congrats to all involved with the building and design of this home!

Like everything is so leisurely and laid back but between pool parties, art walks, beautiful desert hikes, great shopping, a great interior/architecture hub, an awesome food/bar scene, great golf courses, the WMO open every year and Barrett Jackson, horseback riding/ranch life...there’s lots to do but it always feels like you’re on vacation!
This is really beautiful home and the homeowners look like very cool, amiable people. Also, Mark sounds like he had a ball designing and building their home. Bravo.
I've never considered myself a big fan of the desert, but this is a beautiful home in a very picturesque setting. The neutral color palate and tastefully done decorating are just right. I also love the fact that it's a single story home and doesn't compromise on having plenty of open space, especially since the trend these days is 3 story homes. Well done!
It really reminded me of a Frank Lloyd Wright inspired home. As a born and raised Phoenician, I agree that Arizona has its own style to it. There's nothing like it anywhere.

This is a magnificent home. The floor plan is superb. Love the movie theater! They thought of everything. Great job in the making of this. The camera work wasn’t quickly jumping around like some architectural videos and you spent enough time talking to the homeowners and architect as well as showing each area of the home in detail.
I can see shades of Frank Lloyd Wright in the architecture here, low houses, flat roofs, steel and metal and everything blending into nature but with a modern flair. Very nice, large scale, nice job.
Architecture beautiful but my husband would say the drum set tops it off. He never stopped playing since junior high, competitions through high school and up. His favorite instrument.
That fireplace (2:31) would not look out of place at Dr. Morbius' Forbidden Planet "crib." Plus, the owners look a little regretful - like somebody's just been served divorce papers.
