"Twilight Baseball Scene" = Muse, one of my favourite bands of all time. fwiw They had no idea what scene their music would be "appended" to. It just ROCKS.
I love Albatross for the exact reason you don’t like it! So strange. The melody feels like rocking on a boat during a storm, and I love when a song paints a clear picture like that. It really reminds me of Newfoundland folk songs, and I’m curious if other Canadians resonate with that sentiment

I agree! It calls back to the poem (I think?) that it's based on! the albatross is one of my favorites because it sounds so mysterious and convicting. it’s like hearing the assumed “villains” side of the story. it also sounds like it could be featured in a movie. ex. it gives me strong “maleficent” (the movie) vibes !! & i think it adds a lot of insight into how the media often criminalizes women. its also my “birthday song”
Yes!! Every time I hear this, I’m convinced we will see this song in a movie or tv series. It’s so cinematic. I also get choked up a bit when I hear it. I think of it as a companion song to “WAOLOM.” Both songs discuss public perception of her and women, in general. I see both as a little bit of an FU, like well if you believed or listened to me in the 1st place, vibes.
I love The Bolter so much. It just scratches a part of my brain that I can't properly explain. The chorus melody is just so catchy and fun for a song about being afraid of getting hurt so you just leave before you can get hurt.

Basically, if it sounds like she just changed a few notes, that would be a note change, but if the whole song sounds different, even the background music, then it’s probably a key change. Especially if the song sounds higher than when it started out as most key changes in pop music involve transitioning to a higher key 🫶
Yes, I was thinking this when Ally mentioned the key change in Guilty As Sin, thanks for explaining it so clearly! One that I would add as an easy to hear example for people who are still a bit unsure if they understand a key change is Betty, as it has such a long lead up to it. Like you KNOW something is going to happen. “So I showed up at your party… yeah I showed up at your parrrrrtyyy…” and then it happens at the third time “yeah I SHOWED up at your party” the last ”showed” is where it happens 😊
Thank you so much for this explanation!! I was like "huh I really don't think I understand what a key change is" after Ally mentioned it, so this helps a lot to know that was actually a note change, I don't have the ear for music to be able to identify notes or keys etc

Haha 😅 I also am an evermore and COSOSOM STAN! but the way Ally described why evermore is a tough album for her, it makes sense that a song which reminds her of that album sound would be a skip for her 🫶
i personally LOVE the albatross and the bolter, the melody in the albatross makes me feel like dancing willow style? and the bolter has incredible story telling and the melody is amazing . justice for so long london!!! for me it’s a femenine rage song, and yes how did it end is very sad but i feel like it has an angry/angsty undertone to it? i love it
I understood the start of the smallest man who ever lived as when you are just reflecting on the situation, you're still processing it and the more you think about what happened the angrier you get until you just explode. yes this is exactly how I feel cause the whole album theme was centered around the stages of grief with the heartbreak so I interpret the verses as depression but then the bridge is anger
As someone who was in London for the Eras tour and went to The Black Dog bar, it was 98% swifties. They sell baseball caps, glasses, bracelets. Taylor put them on the swiftie map for sure! Also, had great food, which is a bonus!
But isn’t the song about The Black Dog bar in Cork, Ireland that The 1975 went to after a show? Not the one in London. Afaik the owner of the London pub lied about Joe being a regular just to get Swifties to visit - which I guess worked 💀
for robin, im not a parent. i am however a teacher and oh my god robin is so beautiful for that aspect. especially because i teach 2/3 year olds. the melody is so sweet and calming and i just want my kids to know they are loved and they are so smart and i am so proud of them and i love this song
Yeah, you're right. Robin hits so hard when you have little children in your life. I cry every time I listen to it, because all I think about is my nephews. Robin perfectly captures the desperate need to protect the little kiddos from the horrors of the world. There is no force stronger than the incessant need to protect these perfect little humans
17:15 but nobody talks about the true elites, the track 10’s… not ONE bad track within those: Mary, The Way I Loved You, Better Than Revenge, The Last Time, How You Get The Girl, King of My Heart, DEATH BY A THOUSAND CUTS, Illicit, Ivy, Labyrinth and now Who’s Afraid of Little Old Me? (The Prophecy is also a track 10 if anthology is counted as a separate album) Also loved the video and ranking tbh
@@AllySheehan you’d be right about track 9’s if stay stay stay got swapped out for literally any other song on the deluxe / vault (except Run) or even eyes open / safe & sound
Agreed until I saw labyrinth in there. I’m sorry but the second I hear Taylor and Jack making noises I don’t think I should be privy to hearing, I skip it 💀
For The Albatross, I thought the up/down/up/down melody was symbolic of the albatross flapping it's wings, and when the melodies smooth out, it's when the albatross is just soaring through the sky. Maybe that's just too deep?
How Did It End? is TS's pinnacle of songwriting to me. It's so powerful and raw. I think it might be her best song ever. Brutal to listen to but there's so much happening.
one of the things about this album is how incredible the first reactions were. i still vividly remember the shock when the drums in florida kicked in, the jaw drop moment when tsmwel’s bridge came on, and the audible gasp when she sang “taylor swift” in clara bow. god i wish i could go back to hearing this album for the first time
YESSSSS for putting fresh out the slammer in god tier. not everyone understands it but IM SO GLAD WE DO. i just wish more people did because its so unique and tasteful
Okay I actually LOVE The Bolter!! Maybe the placement on the album itself could be different - it feels so fun and joyous and its at the very end which sonically is interesting, but for me that song has been so fascinating to continue to listen to. I think the guitar is so beautiful and the transition from the first verse to the pre-chorus is so so good, I really love the production. Especially how she emphasizes that yes she fell into the freezing ice, an event that quite honestly is scary as fuck and usually lethal, but she lived? She came out alive? So so good, I wouldn't put god tier but Twilight Baseball Scene for me, I love listening to this song! And the bridge!!! Just so good, i'm surprised you don't like it as much. Otherwise I agree with your ranking but I dont skip any of the songs, wtf you didn't even talk about loml haha but I do understand why. Thanks for the content, your editing is always so funny I love seeing what references you are going to include and this video did not disappoint! Rent was due today, well done
FRESH OUT THE SLAMMER is my fave. From first listen, I was like yup, that’s my girly. It’s absolutely transcendental, it feels like late summer and tastes like nostalgia.
So high school sends me straight back to high school. I'm 3 years older than Taylor, and the first time i heard it all i could think about was listening to 'kiss me' by sixpence none the richer or watching high school romance movies at a slumber party. She absolutely nailed the vibe, and honestly despite the simplicity of the lyrics everyone wanted to make fun of, her internal rhyming, flow and wordplay is so excellent.
So high school is mine and husbands song ( he doesn’t care) but honestly. The song calls so many things from our relationship at the beginning I love it so much
Justice for Peter which is 100% a GOD TIER SONG and one of the best songs she has ever put out. That said, love hearing you rank TS songs, as always. Your first video ranking all of her songs highly participated in me becoming a swiftie so thank you ❤
I just realised that if you see the second part of the album by itself then „how did it end?“ is Track 5 which fits perfect but also „so high school“ is Track six which fits perfectly as well.
i'm not a parent but a fresh graduate and so this song (robin) still hits for me. it's like me singing to my younger self, that's how i see it. and it NEVER fails to make me cry. the "way to go tiger, higher and higher"??? instant tears. especially when i think of all the milestones we've already hit in life! this album dropped right around the time my batch was graduating, and that was also when i attended eras (my first concert ever + my fav musician who i literally grew up with mind you) and screamed my lungs out to long live, so the timing of those moments will always be very special for me.

i hate it here was made for me and is the best thing ever made no matter how hard it makes me cry. thats what makes it so good, js how much i can relate with the lyrics. theres something about the production that makes it sound extremely nostalgic to me which in turn makes it even sadder :’)
If anyone cares, these are probably my god tier songs and why - I Can Do It With A Broken Heart: when the bass drum hits in the chorus it really makes you want to make your existence worth it. - I Look In People's Windows: it's so calming and I actually love that it's short, it needed to say what it needed to say - I Hate It Here: this song is like a friend in a song, I hope that makes sense
I really appreciate that you are a person who can't listen to sad songs, especially when you're sad because I am the person you described who can only listen to sad songs when sad. All of your "this is me crying" songs are my favorites because they just hit so close to home. I know that on my Spotify Wrapped my top song of the year will be How did it End? because I listen to it near-constantly. I loop it, sometimes it's the only song I listen to all day, other times it's just sprinkled into all the other sad songs I love. But I enjoy seeing your perspective because it is just so different to my own, it's refreshing to see how the same songs that I can listen to endlessly will just send you into a sobbing mess. It helps to pull me out of my own head a little, so thank you for being so honest about how all the songs affect you, good and bad.
Wow I genuinely am so impressed by this and it's sometihng I'd love to be able to do! How do you listen to sad songs when you feel bad, without feeling 10 x worse?
@@AllySheehan I think that sad songs are a form of catharsis for me, especially because they often are so relatable to something that happened in my own life. When it feels like Taylor reached into my soul and wrote a song about what they found there, it makes me feel less alone. In All Too Well, Clean, all of folklore and evermore, I get those feelings and it brings me comfort even if I'm crying. I sometimes scream-sing Would've Could've Should've because it just brings me so much peace. I've been made to feel very isolated in my feelings for basically my entire life, so when I can feel seen, even if it's in a sad context, it helps me realize that I am not alone and that I can make it through my hurt as well.
Omg are you me!? I identify with everything you've said here!! The sad songs are my absolute faves and I play them so much, when Ally said she doesn't listen to loml I was like lol that's my #1 on TTPD and I'm sure it'll end up my #1 on my Spotify wrapped! Either that or the black dog probably. I totally agree with you, it helps so much to listen to sad songs it's like having your feelings validated. I grew up in a house with a toxic family situation and my feelings were never validated and it was really isolating but music and esp sad & cathartic songs were always there for me. It's nice to see someone else has a similar connection to sad songs, they def make me feel less alone with the feelings!
I am SO happy that you love FOTS as much as I do!! The flow is unmatched. I'm shocked it's so underrated. "Swirled you into all of my poems," is one of my fav lyrics of hers, full stop.
This is unhinged, but the way you feel about My Boy is kind of how I feel about Down Bad. Love the song, such a vibe, but I have this image in my head of like cutesy stuffed animals dressed all cool/sexy and signing the song in a smoke filled lounge, some teddy bears in suits with sunglasses in the back nodding their heads and snapping with the beat, and I have no idea where the image came from but it haunts me every time I listen to the song and I just can't get rid of it. Talk about self-sabotage mode.
I'm a parent and I LOVE Robin so much. When she mashed it up with Never Grow Up, I was holding my daughter during that moment during bedtime and was sobbing! One of my favourite mashups of hers!
I must say the TTPD Album hits live so much different!! Especially But Daddy I love him and down bad because of the visuals. But her voice in But daddy i love him + who’s afraid is out of this world. I saw her last week in Germany and this weekend on Sunday in Munich for the last time😭 i love this album so much live
I love your content, Ally! So happy to see the love for Fresh Out the Slammer. I hope you hear Chloe or Sam for the "first time" eventually! It's one of my favorites off the Anthology.
@@lenaolishevska4070 oh definitely! I recently made a swiftie friend and we're the opposite, she looooves the sad, slow songs as where Im more inclined to the upbeat songs. The best part is, she's super respectful and I can talk to her about my opinions freely without fearing backlash.
Since first listening, my rankings have changed so much! I remember thinking imgonnagetyouback and The Bolter were at the bottom on my actual first listen. But then about a month later I listened to both those songs for the first time *properly* and they've both shot up to iconic favs since then! A great video, I loved it! Thank you 🤍🖤
As an older sister, Robin is one of my favorite songs from this album, maybe even ever. It really makes me think of both my younger self and the innocence I used to have and also my younger brother. I get so sad thinking about him growing up and losing that innocence the way I did.
so happy to see you appreciating fresh out the slammer, guilty as sin, and imgonnagetyouback, genuinely a few of the best songs off ttpd. loved this ranking ally, another banger video 🙏
Devastated about your placement of Chloe or Sam or Sophia or Marcus! I think it's one of the best songs in the Anthology, and it's one I listen to over and over. (Anyone else with me on this?) Great explanation of your rankings, though. I really enjoyed hearing your thoughts.
Idk if she will, and she absolutely does not owe it to us but I would DIE if we got a full live TTPD album Thank you for blessing us with another god tier ranking video
TSMOEL has rythm of 7 and the chorus change to 4. It is just legendary at the level of history of music. Beatles Pink Floyd and Radiohead made one. Rythm with prime numbers above 3 is nuts.
I totally agree with you on MBOBHFT. All my friends love that song and I never felt that strongly on it. It just wasn't my favorite and there was something about it that I didn't like but didn't know what and you perfectly described it. Finally someone who understands!
That uneasy feeling you get from The Albatross is the syncopation of the rhythm. I believe it is being used to represent the movements of waves at sea when on a boat. Syncopation is generally when the melody is on the off beats instead of on the beat. In the verses of the song, Taylor begins each beat of 4 on beat 1 however her next note/word comes before the beat (Eg. Wise is on beat 1 and then very quickly followed by Men on beat 1 3/4, technical term notation wise it is a Dotted quaver semi quaver rhythm). The chorus is different again where it doesn't start on beat one but half a beat late giving once again that syncopated rhythm. Basically it gives the song a "sea shanty" vibe to it which is fitting for the theme. I personally love the song (which is a bonus because I was at Sydney N1 when it was announced) but I can appreciate it isn't for everyone. ( 30:05 )
Thanks so much for this explanation! I love the albatross so much it is God tier for me and really scratches an itch in my brain. I didn't know this technical stuff though, so cool and so fitting with the sea shanty vibe!
For me I prefer the second half and I view it as one album just because the anthology starts with Fortnight and goes through the album that was released before 2am
I will never be over fresh out the slammer the most perfect transition after so long London! It’s sexy, tells a story, and has that indulgent side of Taylor’s song writing! God tier for sure! I also agree with Clara Bow as God Tier! From the moment I heard the red album I have been obsessed with the dark side of fame portrayed in the Lucky One and Clara Bow is the perfect continuation! Also the fact the she references herself! I still get the chills! You really helped me appreciate I can fix him with your matty analysis and bridge hype! That bridge I think is sexier than vigilante shit! Happy Taylor has appreciated that kind of passion but happy she is a lot more stable now with Trav!
Hi Ally! Love you vids! I'm a classical musician and wanted to say: 1) instrumentation is a word! Yes! 2) Guilty As Sin doesn't have a key change, there's just a break and then a return in an intense last bit. Kind of like in Say Don't Go.
my god tier songs on this album: - loml: i feel like this is one of her most poetic songs ever it flows so smoothly and yes it's sad but i can't stop listening to it! the imagery is so melancholic and beautiful and the way she sings it too is just too good! - the bolter: to me this song is like a movie i can see the whole thing play out in my mind and the words sound so good together it's like a whole story in under 5 minutes. it's just so so so beautiful and i died when she played it with getaway car another one of my absolute forever favourites other god tier songs are: peter (also on the this is me crying tier but i can't NOT love a literary reference and a poetic song by taylor swift it's the law), but daddy i love him (again the storytelling is amazing AND i love how joyous it is), the prophecy (i wish i didn't relate), the alchemy (it really grew on me as i've had more time with the album)
The Albatross has such a great melody and lyrics. How it deals with the female perspective of being called dangerous. Then she flips it: "they tried to warn you about me" to "I tried to warn you about them". The bridge is very TS!
I see so many people ranking i can fix him(no really i can) as their least fav. So THANK YOU for appreciating her like i do!!! It's so addictive to listen to.
You're SO right for pairing Casandra with Mad Woman. I already made a TTPD/ Folklore / Evermore favs Spotify playlist and named it "Sad Poets in the Woods"
started watching this right before i went into the shower while being SUPER anxious, came out of the shower bopping along to so high school with you and feeling a lot better. thank you ally ❤
Okay so my two favourites are Windows and BDILH. Windows because… I actually don’t know like when I heard it the first time it just floored me. I love the music, I love Taylor’s vocals. And the story is so moving. I know it’s about like stalking your ex online but for me it just reminds me of being an outsider as a teenager and always feeling like I was watching everyone else from outside. I attend Christmas parties from outside. Devastating. Thanks Taylor. BDILH because it is pure unrivalled Speak Now coded JOY and I would die for it. Skips are Peter, Robin, and The Alchemy. Peter I just don’t enjoy, Robin means nothing to me as a childfree woman, and The Alchemy I just don’t like the sound. ❤
Yes instrumentation is a word. It basically means combining instruments in music. When someone talks about instrumentation they are talking about the instruments that are being used and how they are working and interacting with each other. You are so right, the instrumentation of Fresh out the Slammer is soooooo good!! ( 13:28 )
I am shooketh by MBOBHFT such a sad bop, and CoSoSoM is one of my favs off the entire album! Also the bolter. And I do agree with you about the way she says ‘ electricity’it just scratches my brain so does ‘all her fuckin lives’ just so good!! Oh and I’ve been putting Cassandra with mad woman on swiftball for weeeeks! I really hope she does them 2 together🙂🫶🏻

I saw the black dog and it was beauitful ! I need to go to the pub
@@AllySheehan oh 1000% 😂😂
But isn’t the song about The Black Dog bar in Cork, Ireland that The 1975 went to after a show? Not the one in London. Afaik the owner of the London pub lied about Joe being a regular just to get Swifties to visit - which I guess worked 💀
for robin, im not a parent. i am however a teacher and oh my god robin is so beautiful for that aspect. especially because i teach 2/3 year olds. the melody is so sweet and calming and i just want my kids to know they are loved and they are so smart and i am so proud of them and i love this song
I saw the title n i was like "ALLY BEING FEARLESS AND GONNA SPEAK NOW today"
Yeah, you're right. Robin hits so hard when you have little children in your life. I cry every time I listen to it, because all I think about is my nephews. Robin perfectly captures the desperate need to protect the little kiddos from the horrors of the world. There is no force stronger than the incessant need to protect these perfect little humans
THE FIT SCREAMSS ANTHOLOGY, the thought that goes into each and every video is truly amazing
thank you so much!!!!

2. My Boy Only Breaks His Favorite Toys
3. But Daddy I love him!

(The Prophecy is also a track 10 if anthology is counted as a separate album)
Also loved the video and ranking tbh
WOW you're absolutely right
@@AllySheehan you’d be right about track 9’s if stay stay stay got swapped out for literally any other song on the deluxe / vault (except Run) or even eyes open / safe & sound
100% agree with Track 10’s! Deeply superior songs
Agreed until I saw labyrinth in there. I’m sorry but the second I hear Taylor and Jack making noises I don’t think I should be privy to hearing, I skip it 💀
Also 12s tbh
the relief i felt when you put the black dog in second tier😮💨
it was a close call
please tell me you saw where i mentioned your ranking and the album cover
Imo Fresh out the slammer is criminally underrated
One of my favs😊
@@stephiem09612same
For The Albatross, I thought the up/down/up/down melody was symbolic of the albatross flapping it's wings, and when the melodies smooth out, it's when the albatross is just soaring through the sky. Maybe that's just too deep?
no it definitely could be! i also think its like a boat rocking back and forth
i just sonically don't enjoy it haha
@@AllySheehan Totally agree with sonically not liking it. Regardless, I feel like whiplash 😔 Love the lyrics though!
THE GLEE PICTURES WITH DADDY I LOVE HIM?? I'M LAUGHING SOOO HARD.
LMAOOO REAL
Omg thank you for that! I was only listening to this part so almost missed such a gem ❤️
How Did It End? is TS's pinnacle of songwriting to me. It's so powerful and raw. I think it might be her best song ever. Brutal to listen to but there's so much happening.
one of the things about this album is how incredible the first reactions were. i still vividly remember the shock when the drums in florida kicked in, the jaw drop moment when tsmwel’s bridge came on, and the audible gasp when she sang “taylor swift” in clara bow. god i wish i could go back to hearing this album for the first time
I had my "fresh out the slammer" moment with "the black dog" and I can't wait to have it with FOTS too😍
YESSSSS for putting fresh out the slammer in god tier. not everyone understands it but IM SO GLAD WE DO. i just wish more people did because its so unique and tasteful
haven't watched the video yet but i know for a fact that so highschool is god tier for you
☺☺☺
its probably my least favorite taylor swift song of all time 😭 i feel so alone
@@cassieopeaagirl-
Okay I actually LOVE The Bolter!!
Bolter is twilight tier for sure ❤️
The respect for Fresh Out the Slammer!!! FINALLY! Thank you, Ally!!
somebody had to say it
FRESH OUT THE SLAMMER is my fave.
The song calls so many things from our relationship at the beginning I love it so much
That’s what it was reminding me of! Thank you so much 🫶
omg, SAME! It immediately brought me to sixpence none the richer!
@@kindredanastasiaoh, fun fact i totally forgot.... Taylor also said in her Vogue interview that kiss me was the first song she learned on guitar.
Sometimes the songs are just… deep in different ways.
Justice for Peter which is 100% a GOD TIER SONG and one of the best songs she has ever put out. That said, love hearing you rank TS songs, as always. Your first video ranking all of her songs highly participated in me becoming a swiftie so thank you ❤
The instrument on But Daddy I Love Him is actually a mandolin!! It’s also an iconic country sound lol
I LOVE IT
@@AllySheehan ahhhh hello!! I love your content so much
the mandolin is also present in sad beautiful tragic right?
@@nickneime_ not positive, but it’s def in Fifteen also!
Thank you 👏 I was looking for this comment
I just realised that if you see the second part of the album by itself then „how did it end?“ is Track 5 which fits perfect but also „so high school“ is Track six which fits perfectly as well.
crying over ur take on LOML! that’s my fav song on the album 😭
YES! Clara Bow is God Tier - what you described is how I felt, too. Like instant nostalgia? I don’t know, it’s just magic
26:44 same... idk how anyone could be upset that we got more songs ESPECIALLY because imo the Anthology is what I listen to more
i'm not a parent but a fresh graduate and so this song (robin) still hits for me. it's like me singing to my younger self, that's how i see it. and it NEVER fails to make me cry. the "way to go tiger, higher and higher"??? instant tears. especially when i think of all the milestones we've already hit in life!
this album dropped right around the time my batch was graduating, and that was also when i attended eras (my first concert ever + my fav musician who i literally grew up with mind you) and screamed my lungs out to long live, so the timing of those moments will always be very special for me.

the Harry Potter edit with the Black dog was sooo good
Cassandra is my favourite song on the album. It's so beautiful and touching
The fact that when you played you're favourite part of Clara Bow my CD of TTPD that was playing played that same part.
i hate it here was made for me and is the best thing ever made no matter how hard it makes me cry. thats what makes it so good, js how much i can relate with the lyrics. theres something about the production that makes it sound extremely nostalgic to me which in turn makes it even sadder :’)
If anyone cares, these are probably my god tier songs and why
- I Can Do It With A Broken Heart: when the bass drum hits in the chorus it really makes you want to make your existence worth it.
- I Look In People's Windows: it's so calming and I actually love that it's short, it needed to say what it needed to say
- I Hate It Here: this song is like a friend in a song, I hope that makes sense
Agree with IHIH friend in a song . 🎉🎉

Your editing is always god tier Ally! I lost it at the Elijah wood insert ahhahaa
heheheh thank you so much
CLICKED FASTER THAN YOU COULD SAY SABOTAGE
This is unhinged, but the way you feel about My Boy is kind of how I feel about Down Bad. Love the song, such a vibe, but I have this image in my head of like cutesy stuffed animals dressed all cool/sexy and signing the song in a smoke filled lounge, some teddy bears in suits with sunglasses in the back nodding their heads and snapping with the beat, and I have no idea where the image came from but it haunts me every time I listen to the song and I just can't get rid of it. Talk about self-sabotage mode.
Ally girl you nailed the editing in this video! Laughed so much at the memes 😂
I'm a parent and I LOVE Robin so much. When she mashed it up with Never Grow Up, I was holding my daughter during that moment during bedtime and was sobbing! One of my favourite mashups of hers!
That day was my daughter’s 4th birthday…😭 on a good day, I can’t get through Never Grow Up…TS did me dirty that day…the way I hyperventilated 😭
I absolutely LOVE seeing people rank songs, I enjoy it so much how it differs from my own personal opinions, it's so fun!❤
It blows my mind that there are no two swifties with the same taste, I still haven’t seen anyone even with same album ranking as me
@@lenaolishevska4070 oh definitely! I recently made a swiftie friend and we're the opposite, she looooves the sad, slow songs as where Im more inclined to the upbeat songs. The best part is, she's super respectful and I can talk to her about my opinions freely without fearing backlash.
Thanks Ally, I needed this even if I disagree on some song rankings! You're the BEST!
I really enjoyed hearing your thoughts.
my ranking doesn't mean a song is bad love, this is just about how much i personally enjoy them :)
@@AllySheehan Oh of course, and I didn't mean to suggest otherwise. Art is subjective. Love your channel!
Idk if she will, and she absolutely does not owe it to us but I would DIE if we got a full live TTPD album
Thank you for blessing us with another god tier ranking video
TSMOEL has rythm of 7 and the chorus change to 4. It is just legendary at the level of history of music. Beatles Pink Floyd and Radiohead made one. Rythm with prime numbers above 3 is nuts.
I totally agree with you on MBOBHFT. All my friends love that song and I never felt that strongly on it. It just wasn't my favorite and there was something about it that I didn't like but didn't know what and you perfectly described it. Finally someone who understands!
the love for but daddy i love him is so real 😆🤍
MBOBHFT; Florida!!!; Guilty As Sin? And How Dod It End? Is so OMGGGGGGGGGG to me. They’re so god tier is incredible. I really really really love them
Under a minute gang love you ally
Honestly, The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived is actually the Illicit Affairs of TTPD..Everyone listens to them for the bridge..
And on your she basically only plays the bridge of both😅

Hi Ally! Love you vids!
I'm a classical musician and wanted to say:
1) instrumentation is a word! Yes!
2) Guilty As Sin doesn't have a key change, there's just a break and then a return in an intense last bit. Kind of like in Say Don't Go.
you're right it's more like a melody change or higher note?
LOVE THE FIT!!
YESSS ALLY!! i’ve just finished the end of the school year today( im from the uk 😆) and this is the perfect way to start my summer holiday! 🤍
my god tier songs on this album:
- loml: i feel like this is one of her most poetic songs ever it flows so smoothly and yes it's sad but i can't stop listening to it! the imagery is so melancholic and beautiful and the way she sings it too is just too good!
- the bolter: to me this song is like a movie i can see the whole thing play out in my mind and the words sound so good together it's like a whole story in under 5 minutes. it's just so so so beautiful and i died when she played it with getaway car another one of my absolute forever favourites
other god tier songs are: peter (also on the this is me crying tier but i can't NOT love a literary reference and a poetic song by taylor swift it's the law), but daddy i love him (again the storytelling is amazing AND i love how joyous it is), the prophecy (i wish i didn't relate), the alchemy (it really grew on me as i've had more time with the album)

The Albatross has such a great melody and lyrics. How it deals with the female perspective of being called dangerous. Then she flips it: "they tried to warn you about me" to "I tried to warn you about them". The bridge is very TS!

Thank you for putting respect on Fresh Out The Slammer. It's so underrated.
Yes instrumentation is a word. It basically means combining instruments in music. When someone talks about instrumentation they are talking about the instruments that are being used and how they are working and interacting with each other.
