We LOVE Murwillumbah! We are Sugar Cane Farmers, lived here for 10 years in the 1990's - this is such a tragedy, our hearts go out to ALL Murwillumbah residents 💞 - this wonderful community will get through this. Our relatives are buried in the old Cemetery in Banner Street, original Pioneers, they'd be stunned at this, as they used to pray for rain. Thank you for this video, we watched it from Shepparton, in Victoria, through the tears rolling down our faces - we also want to come HOME 😔 LOVE TO ALL! 🤗

Just watching this breaks my heart all over again. Our beautiful tweed region has been devastated, but we come together in times of need. Brilliant footage, brings me to tears thinking about clients in murwillumbah that have lost everything!.

Fantastic Video! We lived in Hartigan Street near the river and like hundreds of others, we suffered badly during the floods. Luckily we have now been able to move to higher ground in Murwillumbah. My heart still goes' out to all who remain on flood prone land to this day.

La Niña is expected to end at the start of next year thankfully! Let's just hope it doesn't turn to El Niño quickly and is just an average year for us.

Thank you for the excellent footage, but it just broke my heart to watch such devastation in a place I still call home! I grew up in the Valley, now live in Far Western NSW. Our house was on the river and I remember when I was a little girl the water lapping the floorboards in the 54 flood, and seeing huge logs and even a house float past. Sending best wishes to all those affected!

For many decades i could see clearly the future .And now i understand and can except why my People the 'Australian' were covertly exterminated since the end of World War Two . Destroyed by the same ones we helped save from their own destruction....Lest we forget.

Poor old murbah can't catch a break they lost their passenger trains then the actual railway line itself was gifted to a bunch of selfish shaved legged push-bike riding grubs , then 2017 flood wreaked the joint and now a massive flood destroyed businesses and Poor buggers homes. My guess is a majority weren't insured because of extremely high flood premiums charged by greedy insurance companies . Iv donated everything I can I hope it gets to the right people this time.🙏

Used to live there but left in 2016 when I was 8. Kinda just barely left before the 2017 floods occurred, but it seems to be continuously coming back to due to La Niña.
Sorry that you've guys have experienced this, but La Niña is supposed to actually end next year. Hope it just isn't El Niño next year, but just an average one.

As human civilization we seek safety and security.
    As governments take our money.
You live in a changing World.
This are now showing that town planning is failing us.
If you do what you have always done, you will get what you've always got.
    Welcome to reality.
    Change is required.

These areas get flooded almost every year, These towns should have been relocated to higher grounds 50yrs ago or more. Do you think it is a good idea to build on a river that floods constantly. The amount of lives lost over the years and the mental stress along with financial pain is not worth it what so ever. Get off the river you not so smart people.

    This is Chastisement from God.
Unless you do penance you will also perish.
Repent now and believe in. The gospel.
    "Who is like unto God".
