Programme mode Vs Full Auto mode
01:50 Everything is automatic in ‘Full Auto’ Exposure mode Ie. The White balance, Picture Style, ISO, Image quality, Focusing mode, Focus point selection are all become ‘Auto’.
02:38 'Exposure' alone is Automatic in ‘Programme auto’ mode, and other settings (White balance, White balance shift, Picture Style, ISO, Auto lighting optimizer, Image quality, Focusing mode, Focus point selection, drive modes) can be manually selected and set by the photographer.

Beautifully explained the concepts. I never used auto or P mode even at the stage of beginning. Mostly 95% A mode only. Sometimes S and few circumstances M mode.
