Cutting some Freshly Caught Rocks

Went rockhounding and found these beauties. Cutting them up and showing them off!

My heart drops a beat every time a rock catches while you're cutting. Hazard of the hobby. The cavity on that one at 35 seconds was awesome.

It’s especially bad since I have a thicker tile saw blade on there. Things can chunk off way easier. I’d say the one with the cavity is the best one so far. It’s almost perfect, just wish it was a bit bigger

MY GOODNESS THEY ARE ALL AMAZING!!! WOW, you and your Dad. We are Disabled Seniors with OUR 47yr OLD SON/ a Tetraplegic. We do not let that stop us, but we do live in reality and know our limitations when we come across them-hehehehe. JUST GETTING READY IS AN ADVENTURE!!!. So we just pretty much attend Rock and ___ shows and order on line.

That’s awesome! I’ve found some awesome rocks in parking lots depending on the place. It’s nice you can pretty much rockhound anywhere

I thought it was a mosssy agate at first but the more I look at that type of rock the more I think it’s different. It makes some really interesting patterns in it
