Hello friends, today I will show you How to Make PVC Pneumatic Cylinder Using Polipropilene Pipe. In the video you will see a unique way to make a pneumatic cylinder. This video is intended to show the device and how such a cylinder works.In the video I will use a polypropylene pipe, two connecting fittings and two caps. the size of the fittings and the pipe is 1/2 or 20 mm.
I will also use metal axle nuts, washers, pvc board, oil resistant rubber, spring and rim valve. The device is extremely easy. At the end of the video you can see what power it generates.

Great job man! I am building an MRI compatible pressure application system for my professor's research study and my current system applies pressure using the inflation of air bags. However I'm thinking of using a pneumatic cylinder made without any metals (for MRI compatibility) but my only concern is air-leakage because I have to hold constant pressure for 6 minutes. In your experience, did you have air-leakage with this pneumatic cylinder?

Is big problem with such videos as these, all well and good show dimensions and part sizes, just adding "SPRING' and nothing else about spring, thumbs down. Dimensions of spring and all info why can't that be supplied because Spring is very important part in this project, not just any spring will do. Hope others will heed lack of info in their projects, Please list all info in such projects stop the guessing games.☹☹☹☹
Wouldn't air leak from the hole you drilled?
No because the hole is outside the compression chamber. It’s seperate because the rubber seals it
