This is a simple action compressed air cylinder. It was the first one I made, still lacking features to replace a normal cylinder, but so far it has worked perfectly well and without leaks.
The tests were done with compressed air at a pressure of only 3 bar (44 psi). These PVC pipes are rated for up to 7.3 bar (106 psi), but I don't trust PVC pipes holding such pressures.

Vc pode fazer um motorzinho de ar comprimido transformando o movimento de vai e vem em rotação. É só montar em uma biela, até com mais de um destes cilindros.

Interesting build. Schedule 40 pvc is rated at 400 psi for the small pipes. Using 80 psi should work if the ends were welded on properly. For the removable end I would use a glue on end with a male thread and a threaded cap w teflon tape.

@@oldfarmer9004 That be great, maybe using 1-1/2" to 2" schd 40 pvc w 80 - 90 psi would make enough force to make really flat. Definitely put an inline pressure regulator to limit the psi and a slip over metal tube as a safety shield. An exploding pvc pipe could make dangerous flying shrapnel.

@@shayere O cilindro pode ser feito também com aqueles amortecedores usados em marcenaria em armários, tem eles com 60 -80-100 newton é só fazer um furinho em uma das extremidades que o gás vaza e ai é só soldar, com solda branca aqueles caninhos de latão de antenas telescópicas cortados pedaços de 2 cm, eu faço e funciona para pequenos projetos da ate para fazer ele dupla ação no caso com 02 furinhos nas duas extremidades.
@@robertocavalcanti1657 sim, eu sei. Isso já vou fazer kkkkkk já estava no meu projeto. O problema está sendo encontrar no cubículos que é minha cidade e também um armazenamento de ar caseiro. No caso um cilindro tb. Mas n consigo vendar.

Using 6" PVC pipe, 28"'s long. capped solid w/PVC cement. I inserted a SCREW TYPE tire valve into one end of the assembly BEFORE cementing! I made two of these units and strapped them onto the front and back racks of my ATV. I then applied 90 PSI to both tanks and was able to float the ATV through places others could not go!!! The tanks prevent the ATV from trying to flip upside down, "from the tires pressure". when the bottom drops out from under you! Such as a river/creek crossing or just a BIG mud hole. This trick has prevented many "flips" when riding through some hurricane made mud pits!!! Have fun and make sure the cement is applied with primer first and is COMPLETELY cured before adding ANY air pressure. While using the 6" PVC, 90 PSI is all I ever used. Be safe and Please understand, When PVC explodes from air pressure, SHARP, POINTED PIECES OF HARD PLASTIC, travel faster than the speed of sound. Your neck , face, hands, torso, etc. could be punctured/severed before you even hear the BOOM!!!

Galera a título de informação, cuidado com o pvc em ar comprimido, pois o mesmo quando se rompe sob pressão solta lascas que podem fazer um belo estrago. Motivo de não se usar pvc em redes de ar comprimido .
pode substituir por tubos pp de ar comprimido, aqueles da cor azul...
