Seems pretty simple, so basically buy silver wire and do this in a nutshell?

Put heat shield covering lobster claw. Will not soften spring.

How much wire did you use in total?

Nice work. I have been wanting to make a Cuban chain recently. Have you ever done one?

Wait keeping the wire on the “mandrel” is such a good idea. Can’t wait to use it. It can be such a pain keeping it still when you are sawing them

Not yet, I've only made curb chains although it shouldn't be too hard to turn a curb chain into a Cuban chain...I think XD

Definitely made this job easier, wouldn't be so hard if the links where a little thicker but this thinner stuff just had no support

FunWithFire glad I found your channel. If I attempt a Cuban chain I’ll let you know. Working on a tourmaline pendant with some 24k gold inlay right now. Super excited to finish it and post it next week

With respect, it is ridiculous to solder the jump rings and then saw them again and then re solder again. very wasteful technique. You can actually solder half of the links before hand all in one go. You've made the simplest jewellery project very over complicated. So sorry, thumbs down for this one. Dave.

If you’re referring to just making one long chain and then twisting...yeah I’ve done that but all that happened was everything went crooked so I’ve stuck to smaller segments. Could I twist longer longer pieces than this? Yeah probably could. But am I gonna kick myself for soldering a few extra links for the same result? Nope.
