I learned how to drive on this car , but my father car was standard transmission 3 speeds on the column. I was 14 years old. All I had to do is Hand washed it and he let me drive it around the block in Toluca Mex. He worked over 30 years in GM . GR8 vídeo clip Thanks for sharing it .
1978 my first car i was 17 from MA. paid $150 for it. it was totally rotted out all around the rear tail lights. it had a 350ci 4bl . i will never forget it. drove it to Virginia where i was stationed .one day i was driving my buddy to the airport on x way a dash fire started somehow. pulled over got out and watched it burn to the ground. i never saw it again.
I had this very same car,but mine was. Metallic greenIbought it in1974.I. Loved that ccar.Mine had a 4bbarrell.It was big,,ffast, and comfortable.I drove it throughout college.I ttaded it in on a 1977,Oldsmobile StarfireGT.There was a lot to like about the Starfire.It.didn’t have great acceleration, but it cornered very well.I.had it for a couple of years, and then got an nMGB.Thanks for the video
Beautiful car. Colonnade cars are actually really well built and handle and ride better than earlier models. I'm inspired to get my 76 back on the road, though mine is no longer stock.
Very nice example of a 1973. I am sure you have watched my video of my 1973 Chevelle Laguna. I did a frame off restoration on my car and love the 1973 year Chevelles.
I had one back in 1998, I kick myself every day 4 getting rid of it, it was the exact same color, I also had the 1976 Malibu classic and the 1975 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme with the high raise swivel bucket seats, ( LOVE THOSE OLD CARS AND MISS THEM
Really like the stance from the (side)front look. Very muscular! I just bought an 74. Like the bumper with the round taillights more though. I think these baby`s will go up in value due to the fact this is the last model were you just can smell the sixties for a Little bit. And there aren`t many left.
Very rare Chevelle it bugs me when people sht on them and never talk about them after the 1972 Chevelle like they don't exist but because of that there not as expensive as there 196ps counterparts
Wow gorgeous! Amazing condition! I had a 73 the same color with added on black stripes. Mine had the swivel buckets. Sold it in the early 90's... :( Where is your car now 9 years later?
It was still a dignified design, even though federal agents would spend the entire decade poking their big noses into the car business with a long list of mandates!
