1968 Buick Skylark GS California: This car is nearly 100% original and with just 8600 actual miles as of 3/1/2013. The car is as good as it gets, a time capsule and survivor of high standards. In 2011 the car acheived the Prestigious Bloomington Gold Fingerprint Award. Enjoy the video as I explain the car pretty well in detail.

This is a time capsule 1962 Chevy Impala 4 door sedan. It has just 32,000 original miles. It is a 283 with a powerglide. This car has original paint, interior and so forth. Very rare to find an all original car in this condition. Will look good sitting next to my 62 Ford galaxie 500 for comparison. These cars were competition for each other back in 1962.

Any luck selling it?
@@bobolson7610 , sold that car a number of years ago. I use to buy and sell frequently.
I learned how to drive on this car , but my father car was standard transmission 3 speeds on the column. I was 14 years old. All I had to do is Hand washed it and he let me drive it around the block in Toluca Mex. He worked over 30 years in GM . GR8 vídeo clip Thanks for sharing it .
Mr. B. Here ! 🍩☕️👀😎👍. I have the Oldsmobile Cutlass S same roof line like you love my 1976 Cutlass S 🍩☕️👀😎👍🚀🇺🇸
Hello I HAVE 1962 4 DOORS IMPALA v8 First driwer live in ARKANSAS AND LETTER ÇAR LİVİNG DEUTSCHLAND ORGINAL
❤❤❤❤❤❤
The original shade of white for ALL early sixties Fords, Mercurys, and Lincolns was Corinthian White. The paint on THIS one was probably re-done in the later Wimbledon White. Oddly, of all Galaxies, this for some reason is overlooked by the Ford Faithful. I agree to disagree as much as you do as to why so.
You can't find a '62 Galaxie 500 as pristine as this; it's impossible. I'd love having it. Don't even WORRY about that clock!
VERY NICE, MY GRANDPARENTS HAD A '61 IMPALA. BTW, No outside driver door mirror ?
I have the same car but it’s a special deluxe! And not in that good condition but I’m fixing it back up! I thought all the California and Colorado were! Speacial Deluxe! As they were like a bottom dollar no frills muscle car!
FYI - the little F sticker under the trunk, is a quality control mark, - F = Failed 😭 - Failed _ to be a Chrysler Dodge Dart Sport 😂
Is it for sale??
Sold it years ago, sorry.
Thanks for the reply
Drove one for a while in Black. Loved it. had swivel seats.
I drive

With power every thing.
I like the 4 door hardtop sport sedan much better. Love the design of it.
Surprised it has manual windows, my '77 (type LT) has power windows.
I Will Get That Monte Carlo
I have one of these for sale right now
hello. is this still available ??
No, sorry, this car was sold around 2015
GM cancelled the Z28 in 1974. Then in 1976 and half the brought the model back.
Thanks!
Brings back some memories. Back in the 90’s had a black one. Was a dog stock, did some work to it to gain a little performance. Mine seemed to have a few settle differences, I was told it was a 77 1/2 Z28
I saw a 62 Impala last week in Santa Barbara, San Roque neighborhood, that looked almost exactly like this!
Beautiful, take care of her !
Sold out years ago!
What a beautiful RIDE

"Clock doesn't work". I think the life expectancy of almost every clock in a car is about six months. :)
I bought a 1962 Impala four door hardtop Straight head six in 1970 . I loved this car. My dad had the four door sedan he bought in 1963. My Impala if it didn't get stolen in 1973 I would have runned it into the ground. They were definitely the mark of excellence. Not the plastic and tin we have today.
Looks awesome Bro. Loved from Poland. I fall in love in this car when I've watched Driver relased in 2011.
A neighbor of mine once had an Impala sport sedan from this model year in white with maroon seats!
Remind me again, is this an "outstanding original car"?
It sure was! I know I get excited and repeat myself. LOL
Sir what is the price of the car
Sold years ago!
Nice car. Odometer looks like it was played with...a car with few miles like this would still have the number perfectly aligned... 7:42 - 7:47 ...they were easy to rotate back in the day as long as gears were stripped.
Anything is possible! Sold the car a long time ago.
@@rickmintzell2630Ya...still a great car...had the same one myself.
Wow gorgeous! Amazing condition! I had a 73 the same color with added on black stripes. Mine had the swivel buckets. Sold it in the early 90's... :( Where is your car now 9 years later?
I just got 1
74 was the last year for the z28 - they came back in 77 but they were a cheap copy of a real z
Wow! Super nice 68'. Thanks for sharing.
352 incorrect color Block is supposed to be black with gold valve covers
You would know I guess, after all you are a 1962 expert right? Different motors had different color combinations. This one was correct.
@@rickmintzell2630 I have 2 352 fords same year gold black combo Ford blue came in late 1965 I have living retired ford engineer in family I get my colors dead on
@@quagmiredavis4117 , Wrong! The 390’s were a different color. Correct color for this car was blue.
@@quagmiredavis4117 , yours are obviously wrong or are 390 cars.
Wimbledon white is the color
The yellow pinstripe hurts it Doesn't belong on it.
The pin stripe is white not yellow and it does belong on it.
Sweet car. Got 2 Chevy Malibu when my grandpa passed in 77. Sedan and Coupe. Still got them at 100 percent. Good job sir.
Smoke some Tesla’s and Priuses!
Original as in unaltered from new Highly uncommon for any vehicle older than myself.
That's a spittin' image of my first car when I got out of high school. Those SS mags really set it off. I had the 292, Ford-O-Matic two speed & 3:00-1 rear end in mine. Not fast but great on gas. Thanks for posting this. It brought up some great memories! Regards!!
How much u asking?
Sold years ago.
Thankx
That's a bad ass fucking car. I have one my father purchased over 12 years ago same color you just inspired me to fix it and put some tlc...
Glad it inspired you! It was a nice car.
A real time capsule. Just as I remember them back in the day. Glad to see such an obviously meticulous person be charged with caring for it.
Where did you "FIND" such a gem?
Internet searches!
I have an original 62, but mine is HARDTOP and no B-pillar post. Love it. 327 PG.
