American Indian use clay to make wedding vase(double nozzles vase). The nozzles are connected on the top. I made one with mesquite when I received my Scout in late 2018. I hollowed the body from bottom then plugged it. The nozzles were drilled out by using Drill Wizard then carved and sanded. Your approach is very interesting. Like your videos a lot.
Very clever piece. I love the playful attitude of your videos & your banter with your videographer, it shows how much you really enjoy what you do. I am really enjoying your videos now that I have found you. Cheers, Don from South Australia.
Clever project.Entertaining well crafted video. Lies background chatter is enjoyable. Finally I don't understand the need some commenters have to tell you what you do wrong and how to do it better....it is obvious to me you have exceptional skill, know what you are doing, still have all your appendages and no visible facial scars.
Here in the USA when couple splits the cost of a meal (each pays ½) we call that "going Dutch". NOW I can make this double twig pot for my bride and we can truly "Go Dutch" with our flowers! Thanks!
@@ronaldkanne It was NOT meant as a slur.... But as taking responsibility for our own expenditures and being fair to each other. BTW, my own American Beauty celebrates its first birthday next week. I love your videos!!
You and your photographer are my absolute favorites on the planet. (Watch the solar eclipse next month?) How do you come up with these extraordinary ideas? Lots of time with your students? Now, I have only two comments: you should wear a face shield and mask. I’m a bit older than you, so I must take care of myself on my lathe, and, your hair is getting very Nordic-like! Very cool, from this bald guy! From your friend in California on the third planet from the Sun.❤
Great project Ron, Awesome camera work Lies! I just love how you both have so much fun with the videos. I need to ask about the adapter that you clamp into your chuck, Who makes it? and is it available in the U.S. I think I will try this today, I don't have ash available so I will try it in oak,

I thought you were going to do something amazing, it would of been easier to turn a vase then board three holes in the top, turn three necks to go in, this would’ve been a lot quicker, the vessel was still being the same all the way round in grain, and I believe this will be called a threesome, 😂, masks and face shield On , for safety reasons, I’m not saying you haven’t got a pretty face, but I’m damn sure it will hurt if something came up and hit you, and obviously your poor lungs, 🫁, and another thing I bet this gets taken down, Especially as I was set up by a ducks couple about two years ago, I went out my way to try and help them with their property in France, just to find out that I was being used, I love Woodturning many years in the woodwork industry working for myself, I think you have made some amazing products over the years, and I have been following you for quite some time,

Very interesting and I thought innovative!

Very nice idea and a job well done.
Thank you for the content, I enjoy your style of demonstration.
I like your videos and your ideas. Always very educational and funny. Will we never meet Lies?
One day she will be turning and I will have the camera... :-)

Haha! Yes there are a lot of bad things where Americans use the word Dutch to express that it is really bad.... 😂

And, it was worth the wait!
I thought you were going to use a multi-axis technique!
Your videos are so educational and lovely to watch. How would it be come if we do the process backwards ?!🤠
Bedankt,
Zat het hele filmpje weer met een grijns te kijken 😂
What a great idea, gonna have to try that! Thanks for sharing and you two stay safe?
We'll try! tnx!
Great job Ronald
Thank you David!
Very nice
This is a fun idea. Kinda clunky, but fun.
Clunky... that's the word! 😀

Amazing how much he looks like Ron Reagan, jr.
Oops!? Let me check that out... 🙂

It is called the Stardrive and it is produced by Simon Hope. But I don't know if it is sold in the U.S...
Thanks for your kind words!
Surely only turners would appreciate the extra work it takes to make it dbl.
Yes, like only turners go into a hollow form with there fingers to check the smoothness of the surface...🙃

Klopt! Meerdere manieren zijn er. Deze vond ik leuk om eens te maken. Maar misschien doe ik m nog wel eens maar dan anders...

Kind of looks like specialized binoculars of some kind.
Oh Ronald, stop ashing around. Is it possible to shape the top (below the nozzles) before you glue the pieces back together?
sure! why not! :-)
I am waiting with bated breath to see this secret!
Don't hold your breath too long please! :-)

Yes, you are right of course about the way the nozzles can be made. But this was fun also! Next time i'll do it your way... promise! 🫠

You seem to miss the point. Ronald was showing us something different and interesting.... not 'easier'.
Ron, what treat or the eyes & ears. Great sene of humour. May give ago someday! Recently ran into your channel. They're wonderful.
