My wife's phone recently died (A52 5G) and she was going to trade in for the A54. It took little convincing for her to go with the S23 FE instead. While the A54 is a fine mi-range phone, the S23 FE performs exactly as what it is: A top tier phone minus a few bleeding edge enhancements. I have the S23. When I use my wife's s23 FE, in day-to-day usage I don't even notice the difference, it's fast/smooth with few compromises.

But isn't the s23fe only a 10mp selfie? And the A54 is 32mp... Some of the selfie super stars on here may not like that. Lol
Considering the S23 ultra is only 12 mp I say 32mp is marketing hype vs actual quality.

I have the S23fe. Took a week for the phone to optimize things and tune its battery performance. Now I get a full days use with moderate usage. Comparable to the s20fe.

S23 FE has aluminum frame, while a54 has frame of plastic.

What is Gorilla Glass Victus 5?

Are you sure about Victus 5 on A54? I have read that Samsung uses a kind of "Glasstic" int he rear of a54 , a sintetic material very similar to glass, but still a plastic.

There is no doubt that the S23 FE is the better phone. Buf it also costs double the price. Is it two times better? Absolutely not! Currently it makes no sense to buy the S23 Fe. It's much worse than the regular S23.

I Guess so, Both phone have almost identical dimensions and camera module placement.
A54 - 158.2 x 76.7 x 8.2 mm
S23FE - 158 x 76.5 x 8.2 mm
A54 have sd card the the s23fe not :-(

I disagree. Seems more similar to S23. Has Dex, wireless charge, reverse wireless charge, aluminum frame. A54 has none of that. Get some practical use and stop being a TH-cam expert.
