Gorgeous town with the new snow and lights. Your vlogma is the first thing I watch with my coffee and some knitting when I get up in the morning. Makes my day start right! Thank you.
Thank you for taking us along to pick up Sofia. I love seeing the towns in all these countries I will probably never visit. The carousel was so beautiful!
a childhood dishes trauma! i am dying laughing - i have the same! i despise doing the dishes! and i love the idea of knitting a house dress - light and flowy and loose and baggy and it will trap warm air and be like a cocoon you can walk or lie around in. i think the thing i like most about vlogmas, is getting little glimpses of the places you all live - it's a bit like opening an advent calendar window - just loved seeing your films - cheers
I have totally enjoy your podcast,. It put a smile on my face,.. I wash dishes by hand all the time....I don't like to do house work,. Seem lazy thou,... I use to iron sheets when I had to clean someone house years ago,.. but not any more... It so good to see your home town at night with snow falling,. So pretty...😁😊🙂👍♥️
I enjoy your Vlogmas videos so very much. It's so very interesting to see how others celebrate the holidays. Your scenery in Finland is lovely. Such beautiful forests with their snow covered trees. Winter is a favorite season for me. We've had just a bit of snow so far but I'm sure there is more to come.
I love coming here, it makes me feel less lonely here in my little bit of the U.K. it’s such a great community with you at the head Janna feels cosy and happy loved seeing your area and family hope your daughter had a great time at grandma’s
I agree with so many comments already made ,it's lovely to see your part of the world. I'm tired , struggling with health issue (reflux) which is also consequently poor sleep , headaches etc so I'm not to not get annoyed , but want something nice for the children....but I'm tired. So you're cheering me up and giving me a few ideas , but not sure I can implement any just yet ....we have no family here to help...(we live in northern Ireland) but your stories are lovely and very inspiring and happy - 💕💖🎉
Hello from Colorado. I just found your vlog and it has inspired me to get my knitting out again while I recover from a double mastectomy (stupid, dumb breast cancer). I love your kind, gentle and loving way of looking at winter. The dress is beautiful and looking forward to all of your projects you share with us. I usually knit toe up socks but am going will start the next cuff down and knit with you. Thank you for brightening up my days.
Thank you all for sharing your precious moments of time with us. You make the mundane tasks that need doing, pass so much more enjoyable. I really look forward to each video!
A other trip in your town or nearby so wintery and everyone dressed up against the cold. Your daughter seems to enjoy baking at Grandma . The carousel was beautiful brings back memories. Now on to the next Vlogmas
A bit of judicious pegging out of laundry or getting into the tumble dryer before the contents cool and shaking out and folding and no ironing. I’m not keen on washing up either I long for a dishwasher but my kitchen is tiny 6 ft by 9 so no room. Loved travelling with you for this one such a lovely podcast thank you
Your channel is growing because of you Jana! Your delightful laugh and natural warmth plus your crafty expertise make for thoroughly enjoyable viewing. I love seeing your area of the world too. It gets dark here in New York around 5:30, just a wee bit later than where you are. Thank you so much for your vlog - throughout the year and especially at Christmastime.
I'm with you - ironing is nice, ironed sheets are the best, washing up is the worst. I always iron my sheets, I just can't get to sleep on wrinkly sheets, but I iron them while my husband does the washing up - he would rather wash up than sleep on wrinkly sheets 😁
Thank you for lighting the advent candles, stupid cats here would set themselves on fire. Hearing that you don't routinely iron sheets reassures me I haven't failed as Scandi housekeeper! Beautiful job.
Thanks for another lovely episode. I found you last year during vlogmas. So this is my second vlogmas with you. I really enjoy your podcast and especially your cozy vlogmas episodes. Usch a lovely thing to wake up with during the morning :)
In Belgium, Netherlands, on the 6th of December we celebrate Sinterklaas/Saint Nicolas. The children get their presents from Saint-Nicolas and not from Santa, and children and adults get treats : Saint-Nicolas shaped cookies (speculoos), chocolate, marzipan and satsumas. It's not a holiday, but even at the office we get speculoos. By the way, I iron sheets. I just like the cosy feeling of fresh washed and ironed sheets. It's a little budget friendly luxury (even if it's time consuming).
Your channel is growing because of you, Janna! Your videos are just beautiful, all of them: the regular episodes and vlogmas as well! I hope I didn't bother you with my comment about the sheets on the previous video, really sorry if I did. I didn´t mean at all that you're wasting your time ironing sheets! I do admire it, because I'm sure the feeling of ironed sheets is a very special one. Maybe I should try it out this winter! Again, sorry if my comment sounded rude in any way or made you feel bad, I didn't mean it at all!
Hi Janna, this is a very nice Vlog. The pictures outside make me a little nostalgic. I was for many years in Kuusankoski Kouvola, it was November and I did an internship in a sairaala. It was a great time 🤗
I love your dress❤ Does it come in english and if so can you lead me to the pattern please😊 I always forget to comment but I really enjoy watching every-time you upload a new video
Omg!!! I would rather clean the toilet than do dishes too! My children used to argue over who had to do the dishes and who “got” to clean the bathroom 😂
What is the difference between a WIP and a UFO? What do you call something started that is lost in the stash and the pattern has long since departed? After Christmas, I am going to have a stash attack. Any tips? Sort by color or weight? In the meanwhile, I am about to cast on a vest with Biches & Buches LecPetit Lambswool in soft pink grey angLe Gros Silk & Mohair in extra pale pink. You would like this color! The swatch feels a little stiff, compared to the individual yarns and this concerns me somewhat. I have no Advent calendar so am enjoying all of the ones you are showing. Steady snow here in North Idaho-we seem to have more than you so far. You are welcome to take it all. I long for spring! Happy Knitting to you!
Hei Jana! I love knitted dresses, but I dread the drying time. How long does it usually take for yours to air dry? I'm even trying to put my swatches and not-so-precious knitted items in the washing machine, to give them a spin cycle, but I feel like a dress would take an eternity to dry (even though I live in northern Italy, so not really cold, I feel my house isn't dry enough to help the process). Would you mind perhaps talking about this, if you have any trick to help, and definitely convince me to knit a dress? 😅 Thank you so much, all of your videos are such an inspiration to make things and cast on new projects - I already decided what my Christmas cast on will be, lol
Advent sock question: how do you decide how many stripes to knit before turning the heel? I would probably be paranoid and start at the toe even though I like knitting top down. Enjoying your videos 😊

I'm having withdrawal symptoms as the days of Vlogmas tick away. Thank you my dearest Jana for brightening my December.❤
I love ironing too. Something so satisfying smoothing out wrinkles
It looks like you had a lovely day. The town where the carousel was looked so pretty and everything looks lovely draped in the snow.👍😊🧶🎄❄️

Your vlogs have a very special healing energy to them. Thank you from Canada.

I am a failure. I haven't ironed sheets in my life.

I enjoy ironing also, don’t like doing dishes & our dishwasher is my husband thankfully.
I haven't worked on my Battenburg blanket for a while either. I have loads of coloured squares that need attaching.

Tank you for a nice episode!👍
I like cotton sheets and they get crinkled on the edges so they need ironing sometimes just the edges and pillow cases. I like ironed cotton!
It is so fun to see the beautiful area you live in and to hear about your day. Everything you make is gorgeous! Thank you!
Love these videos - thank you so much for sharing your life with us! 😊
I love your scrappy blanket!
Another nice one
Veera's " Stripes" book is on my Christmas list! Thank you for sharing all the sights.
You are speeding along on battenburg. I made about 8 squares last month but I am keeping up on joining with the white squares.
Hooray another person who likes ironing- so many people dislike ironing but not me.
Fun video !
Your dress is beautiful!!
I love love the music on this one So pretty Piano, bells, cello? Maybe violin : )
Your battenburg looks great.
I love your dress❤

What kind of heel do you knit on a self striping sock. These are my first. ❤
Hi ! I have a question … what do you mean by evening porridge .. ? You have a special recipe to share please… thanks
The dress is lovely and not too nice for home
