Looks interesting. I’ve definitely thought the bead head looked….off. But the trout don’t seem to care. If they can ignore that weird metal hook hanging down, I don’t think they are all that perceptive. General size, shape and color of the body seems important, but how do they not see that hook?!?
I agree bead heads work and I use them. This just looked like a super interesting topic and they turned out to be really fun to make. But I do think this technique has some merit when tied small. Thanks, -Brian
