I followed your build, looks awesome. I have identical model and working on it currently, bit different style, but the motor set up has to be identical to yours...any points as to smog removal would be very helpful..
Pretty straight forward, tricky part being the block off plate on the cylinder. I used a piece of aluminium flatbar and some high-temp gasket material.
@@doombug999 Got that covered, I used exactly what you described. I was not sure about air box and carb cup/plug off. My whole issue started as I noticed that my tank was shot with rust..it only has 500 miles, but it was not stored properly...noticed that after the buy...now carb is clean, air box and new tank with manual petcock...I will get my plugs today and try to start it. Thanks so much for answering. I appreciate it. I may share pictures after I am done with it.
Hi, thanks for the video. I have a question, my bike seems to be suffocating under acceleration for the lack of better words compared to an acquaintance's Sym wolf, could that be addressed with adjusting the jetting or would that be because the smog equipment is still on the bike? My acquaintance no longer has his, so I can't compare bikes. Cheers.
If you still have your emissions stuff, then in theory there should be no need for tuning. Especially if you got a clean carb/ air filter. That being said, I noticed a slightly better response when I removed the smog stuff.
I wish you would do a Vedic on the smog removal
Best I could do is what's still connected and what's blocked off. Wish the old sym forum was still up and running, was a wealth of knowledge.
Removing the emission gives you more power?

Good evening, do you know if this needle adjustment works the same for a Wolf SB 125? Thanks.
How does this help with the smog removal? Do you need to adjust the throttle pin after smog removal?

@@doombug999 Thanks for the reply. I'll clean the carb and see what happens.
This is not true. This is the continuous valve (piston) and the Schuber needle
