I love watching these dogs dance. Any and all of them. I don't care which person owns which dog or which dog is dancing better or has been trained and taught better. To me all the dogs have been taught and trained wonderfully. The routines are just different not better then any other. The fact that these beautiful dogs can be and have been trained and taught to do this just blows me away. Every dog is beautiful just as every trainer is beautiful. All the routines are wonderful and perfect I'm my eyes. Not one of them is better just different then the other... They are all winners. The dogs are not competing against each other. They aren't in it to win it. They are having the time of there lives for the short time they are here. They are all spectacular.
I'm getting my first border collie. He's from working sheep dogs but I'm getting him a bit late he's already close to twelve weeks I suppose it's too late to expect to ever teach him some of the canine freestyle moves when he doesn't even know basics and has basically been running on farm. Everyone's telling me it's too late to train him anything when he close to twelve weeks
Dog can learn at any age. You can teach your dog without any problem. ☺ I know many dogs that started late and finaly made it to Crufts too. So really do not worry about it.
Thank you I actually just took 20 minutes with him and a few treats today and he learned sit and paw which he had no training off. He also walks in natural heel position and I can stop and get him to sit at door. I wouldnt be interested in crufts I just thinking a little fun at home for something to do and to mentally stimulate both the dog and me lol
@Shaz-gq7pv dogs are never too old to learn anything. I'm about to start my mini poodle, who just turned 4, but her focus on me is all I need because I can see she wants to please. I've had her for nearly a year, but I wanted her to really settle in and get used to being with her son and 2 cats as well as house training. I taught my last standard poodle that being groomed wasn't punishment. Before I got her, she had to be sedated to be groomed, and with time, breaks, and treats, she was great for grooming. When you have a pup, they are sponges until 1 year old and even further. So have fun with your pup, that's what it's all about.
