Inference vs conclusion | Verbal Reasoning / Critical Reasoning Concept

An inference is a conclusion that is drawn from observation and prior knowledge. For example, I see a whiteboard and a guy with glasses telling us things. This reminds me of schools and education. Who is he? Where is he? Why is he telling us these things? I can infer that he is a teacher in a classroom and wants to educate us. How do did I make this inference? I combined the clues with my background knowledge to infer who he is, where he is, and why he’s telling us these things.
