When I was little we used to do really long trips. I live in the capital of Peru, Lima, but the rest of my family lives in Arequipa, that's in the south, almost in the frontier with Chile. The trip without stops is like 16 to 18 hours, but if you do it with stops and everything, it is like two days. I used to make that trips with my sister, my brother and my parents. This year I made the trip again just with my parents and it was fun, took my laptop and my camera and I was in charge of the music during all the trip 🙌🏽
My siblings and I were traveling once to see our grandparents and we happened to go back on Christmas Eve and the entire time since since we were traveling without an adult the flight attendants were trying to be extra nice and so they offered us candy canes and talked about Santa flying in the air somewhere at the same time as us so we just accepted the candy and let them talk because we didn’t feel like explaining that we are Jewish and don’t celebrate Christmas. But, you know, candy is candy. (And actually I think a lot of families like to spend Christmas together so I’m pretty sure it’ll be a good travel day for Kayla)

I too overshare sweetheart. I'm glad we got to know each other better today. I love you a lot. If I know you then you should know I use to bite my nails but then I started putting my fingers in my ears to stop me from putting the bad taste in my mouth. I can't have normal massages because I have scoliosis and if its not like a trained physiotherapist then they could seriously hurt me. Also when my husband was still my boyfriend he once tried to massage my feet and I couldn't walk for a day so wouldn't recommend. I've also been saying ''I'm sad'' lately as you have in this video, mental health not too hot due to pregnancy hormone imbalance.

I have bad anxiety like you do, and i thought getting a pedicure would be awkward and awful, but it was the most relaxing thing i had ever done. And if you dont get a manicure with it you can play on your phone while your feet soak in hot water and your back gets rubbed by a massage chair.
Massages are awesome. I think you’d like it, and even if you are anxious, the environment calms you down. The therapists are always nice. Since it would be your first massage tell them you want light touches.
She's got loads and loads of social anxiety though so maybe being so close to a complete stranger could be too much for her? I like a hand massage as much as the next gal but I don't think you'd lose too much if you never experience them.
Coreen Benadie I have a lot of anxiety as well, so I know where she’s coming from. But from my experience, I was extremely nervous and anxious. The waiting room is very calming, the music is soothing and the people are very nice. I still have trouble saying hi to my massages therapist some times, but in the end I find it an enjoyable event and helps lower my anxiety for the rest of the day. She asked her viewers if they think she should get a massage, and I think she should.

Its good that she has subscribers from all over the mental health spectrum so she has input from all sides. I've found the music to be a little grating sometimes but I'm really happy it helps you, maybe it could help her too? I'm just worried she does something like that and gets a panic attack and breaks down and I just wanted to make it sound like not the biggest deal if she didn't get a massage if she didn't want to. She said she didn't like manicures and I agree because of my diagnosed OCD. I feel like I'm rambling lol sorry, glad we can all share opinions to help Kayla and each other :)
Coreen Benadie I know some people find the music annoying, but the music varies from place to place. I live in the south west, so massage centers usually play Native American music, versus a beach resort that will play ocean waves with birds. I enjoy the music overall, just depends on taste. Also the majority of places can turn off the music if you don’t like it. I have had one panic attack durning a massage, but that was because of the intensity of the massage (the therapist was using to much pressure) and I was to anxious to speak up. That’s why I now specify on the info sheet that you have to fill out before the massage what pressure I want. And the therapist aren’t very talkative. They say hello tell you to de robe (after they’ve left the room) and then have you smell the oils they’ll use. Then they typically don’t talk till the end letting you get up. After the massage, from my experience, they always have a glass a water, and then send you on your way. I don’t like manicures because the person doing my nails will always try and talk to me and part of my anxiety is social anxiety. I’m also glad that we can discuss our views and see from the others perspective. Also thank you for not be aggressive and hostile, I enjoy seeing people like you on platforms like this.

I had a back massage before. Well, I wanted one, however. The lady who did it was very good at it and it was relaxing. She was a roommate of a close friend and offered when I brought up in conversation about me finding a masseuse.
My fam drove from New Mexico to Pennsylvania about a day and a half drive. We did that about twice and it was fun. But it’s so long and I felt so gross afterwards.
It took me years to curb my nail biting habit, and my nails will probably be brittle forever because of the years biting them. Keeping them painted helped a lot because I didn't want to chip my nail polish and have to paint them all the time, and ingesting nail polish isn't healthy.
Try gel nail polish!! Getting gel nail polish saved my nails. Since I was paying actual money for my nails I started taking better care of them which resulted in my nails actually being healthy for probably the first time in my life.
Kayla I drive everywhere with my family we go to Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas like every month and then if we’re going on a big trip we drive. We never fly which sucks but eh.

They boost productivity and concentration and relieve stress and anxiety. Don't judge a massage without having one first! They're awesome
i'm from denmark so the whole really long road trip is not a familiar conecpt to me.. i think it would like take 5/6 hours to drive through most of denmark lol (but we did drive to holland once but that "only" took like 7 hours or so)
