Yeah, that's right. "Fontana delle tette" (tit's fountain) is indeed very old and historical, and it did had red and white wine coming out each tit for a couple days a year. The one you visited is actually a replica, the original one is in a display case very near to it. You can find the oringinal one in Piazza dei Signori, under the portico/colonnade
I'm happy, finally I don't just see the usual cities, beautiful Venice, Rome, Florence, Milan, Naples, but the real Italy is the provinces, there are hidden gems, from Piedmont to Sicily, I could make a list but it would be very long, every region has unique beauties, excellent video, just a note, the oil we use at the table is called EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE, we don't use olive oil, they are two very different things, congratulations for having discovered a beautiful town, continue Like this
I have been going to Venice for over 30 years. I do agree that there is an odor sometimes when it’s hot out but not generally. I also think Venice is a fairly safe place.
Yes, the smell is mainly when it’s very hot and humid. Venice is safe compared to other touristy places but comparing tongue Italian cities, it can be better. The pickpockets these past few years have risen so much.
The only thing about Treviso i knew was basketball club Treviso Benetton that played in the Euroleague like 20 years ago 😁 Lovely city not crowded clean amazing 👍
I know the place...I was born there. But I prefer Padova, more lively and Venice. Unique. Treviso is a nice little town just like tons of others we have in Italy.

You must to visit Genoa, one of Maritime Republic like a Venice
@@vernonandmaryana I'm originally from the province of Treviso but have lived in Australia for the main part of my life - my sister who also lives in Australia actually owns a pizza restaurant in Treviso -inherited from the estate of her late husband. Treviso is actually one of the wealthiest cities in Italy thanks to many industries in the area.
Actually it's not as ancient as it looks. Like a few German cities (say Cologne), it was carpet bombed in WW2 and reconstructed to look like before destruction.
Ok, but Tiramisu was officially born in the small village of Pieris, in Friuli Venezia Giulia, with the name of Tiremesu, 40 years before than it was made in Treviso (though in Treviso they modified it to make it just like we ate it today, so let’s say its origin is shared between the two)
I absolutely adore Treviso! And I love the foggy vibe! Thanks for sharing. ❤❤❤
Glad you like it!

I recomend to you to visit, Asolo, Cittadella, Castelfranco, Bassano, Feltre
Looks like you took 2 mozzarella in carrozza at the "local bar". For anyone wondering you can easily find the recipe online, and they are sooo good

It’s on our list, any recommendations for there?
Do they have good Cicchetti Bars and pizza in Treviso?
Yes, some are also by the canals even.
Treviso is a beautiful city, but if you want see what they call little Venice you should go to Chioggia.
Never heard if it, looks identical, wow!
Un'altra piccola cittadina considerata "Piccola Venezia" è Caorle

Venice used to own it - it was originally an independent city state but Venice took over!
Yea, I think back in 1400s. Venice ruled so much in this region.

Anche Verona è una bellissima città.❤
I'd say that 'Chioggia' would be considered the 'Little Venice'. Chioggia is authentic !
