I don't shop Walmart myself. Stores that have self checkout lanes, I always go to the one with a cashier. Why you ask? Simple, LEGAL issues. Should I make a mistake and accidentally "shop lift". A good lawyer starts at $500.00 an hour. If push came to shove, I could afford that but most can't. Secondly, Walmart is pawning off more work on the customers without a discount incentive. What next, stocking shelves and cleaning the restrooms all for the privilege of shopping at Walmart? I think not! I would tell the Walton to POUND SAND!

All these people, claiming that they’re not going to use self check out because it’s taken away from customers. There’s been automation in every industry for the past hundred years. Did you stop using telephones when they get rid of operators? (No)
Did you stop buying cars when they have robots making most of the cars? (No)
Did you stop buying chocolate when everything needs to be done by hand but now they have these machines that make 10,000 chocolates an hour (No)
