A couple of points about the Oni player's first activation of the Ninja minions. At 7:32 you show the Ninja card with the secret technique card still face down. This card should have been flipped face up at the start of the Activation Phase before Okko took his first move. This would not have changed the results, but it could have been a factor if Okko had made a normal attack and the technique gave the Ninja extra defence. At 8:31 a Ninja makes a ranged attack without any equipment or ability that would allow a ranged attack. The FAQ makes it clear an equipment or ability is needed to make ranged attacks. (It says this for Characters. I'm assuming that goes for minions too. That seems to be how most rules work.)

Nice fast run through. Worth noting there was a rulebook error with corruption tokens. They don't go in spaces, just on tiles to show that tile is corrupted.
Typical game that looks incredibly complex from the manual but is actually quite straightforward when playing ;-)
Great short review of the game.
This is a nitpick, but the channel is called, "Play it Right". At 4:39 the corruption track is shown with 3 markers on the Mortal Thralls track. The Round marker is on Round 3 and the instructions given are for Round 3. There should only be a single marker on the track and the 2nd one should be placed at this time. At 4:54 you show the correct number of markers for Supernatural Creatures (one) and show the 2nd being placed as it should be. Good job featuring a game with great potential and a tricky/difficult rulebook. Thanks!
This is a nitpick but the channel is not called Play it Right it's called Cardboard Rhino :P I'm joking but yeah indeed at some point one marker is missing but it's sort of trivial for understanding the game, it's not an actual playthrough where you play one full game from beginning to end.

I have yet to play my game as I am awaiting the fulfillment of the second Kickstarter for the rules fixes and most importantly, the storage solution. If you went all in on the first campaign, it is a disorganized mess and desperately needs a storage solution:)

What happened to the tiles and bigger components. I can see them all bent like starting to deform from their flat state. Game looks good. Wanted to back it when it hit KS but could not, maybe the next KS I can.
I'm not sure what gives this impression, they are not bent at all.
I think if you look at the leftmost and rightmost tiles, the reflection/shadow at the corners comes away from the tiles which I think makes the tiles look curved. I thought they were curved at first as well
They are curved, have a look at 6:27
Is this what the production copy will made of? I see the tiles and user board are curved significantly due to the thin material.
I have the game and everything is perfectly flat:-)
They are not curved at all. Maybe you got this impression from the glass surface of the table I used cause the design is curvy on the edges that it meets the wood.

@@robertpapancsev8891 I have the game and my tiles curved a few days after opening. It was a hot, moist day and this was pointed out by the guy I was playing with. I played the game twice with no issues and during the 3rd game the boards started to get the curve. YMMV.

Hi Elena! Thank you for this video. It looks like the game is an enhancement of Guardians Chronicles, which is pretty good! Do you like the game?
I haven't played any of the others but I believe that this one is pretty well done, so I do recommend it for people who enjoy this genre
