When it comes to tourism, a nasty trend has developed where many older men go to impoverished countries in South East Asia, Eastern Europe, and the Balkans, such as Thailand, Vietnam, Ukraine, Moldova, Serbia, Belarus, Russia, Romania, Kazakhstan, etc... Where they take advantage of the locals due to the size of their wallet. Here we discuss these antics and the immorality of such predatory tourists.

Damn, how long ago was this, I'd be curious to learn more? Ive noticed more of these types of dudes recently and it bothers me as a 2nd generation polak (my parents are from there). There's one black dude from America who has a channel on here (called "Amerykański") who I suspect went to Poland for the same reason. Then there's that philochko guy who went to Russia and did essentially the same thing, but hides behind being an "english teacher."
Been too Czechia multiple times. Yes, some buildings and houses look like it could need some restoration, but it's not like they don't have the same modern stuff inside like we in western Europe have. It's for that reason why i do not consider them more poor then us, but only from an outside first impression.
I’m in Philippines now and sometimes I overhear conversations (not that I have to try) in restaurants that male tourists have with local women, and it’s just sad, like straight up telling her what he wants her to do if she wants to be his “girlfriend” 🤢 this other guy was saying to a girl that she will soon become old her body’ll be unattractive, and started complaining that he went to a club in Manila and dancers there didn’t even have beautiful bodies.

I had the opportunity to study abroad in Austria for a year back in my college days. In my group a lot of guys were saying they can’t wait to hook up with the locals and proceeded to laugh at me when I really wanted to try their beers and cuisine while also looking at the castles. After a few days we decided to go to a club, but I wasn’t feeling too well so I stayed in. The next morning the guys were hungover and womanless, I decided to go and look around Vienna with another one of the “history nerds” in my group. We stopped off at Kaffee Alt Wien and somehow me and my friend were having a casual conversation with three beautiful ladies they knew off the bat we were Americans but what struck me was that she thought it was unusual how polite we were and that they’re use to American and British men just trying to find sex like these “tourists”. I recently converted to Catholicism so hooking up and all that wasn’t what I wanted. After about 30 minutes we got their WhatsApp numbers and whenever we had free time got to hang out with them. Women of all nations can sniff out bs just go in there with the mindset that you’ll be okay if you don’t hook up, but be polite and fun when you get that chance to talk to them.

People should actualize their view of Central European and Baltics countries. Most of those countries are not "impoverished" or "poor" anymore. They have been developed a lot during the last 30 years

She did not understand me, but she prattled away, her son nodding and trying to explain and it was adorable.

I am Bulgarian who works in the Hotel business for like 12 years.. I must admit English people are the worst tourists next to them are the Americans but they are rare and surprisingly Canadians are very good and clean tourists!
I have an apartment on an island in Croatia. The local resort has concentrated on luxury tourism & the Brits are fine. Down the road there is a a cheaper package tourist resort, & it's a nightmare.

It’s pretty sad, I’m an Aussie who is looking for a cheaper place to relocate for a few years. I’m a conservative Christian guy, I don’t sleep around or abuse women. These guys are giving someone like me a hard path to tread, they travel and abuse the locals and their culture indulging in the worst kind of behaviour, no wonder people are getting sick of tourists and foreigners😟

I just want to play devil's advocate here for a bit. I spent about a year learning Portuguese in preparation for a trip to Brazil to do exactly what these guys are doing. I was ultimately unable to go, which was for the best. Learning the language, talking to Brazilian women online, it all made me feel pathetic. It made me despise myself. I felt like this is what I had to do in order to find what I want. I'm willing to bet that many guys who do this sort of tourism feel the same way.
But I did feel like it was what I had to do. Many young men are plagued by loneliness in a society where no one can talk openly about their feelings. I think that we all just wanted to love and to be loved, to feel important to somebody and to feel like our lives are worthwhile. To feel happy and to feel like we have a future worth living for. The society we live in however has warped all of this, elitist forces have told us that the key to happiness is monetary and shallow. Traveling abroad and trying to hook up with foreign women is trying to live these shallow goal that feel unattainable to so many of us. Young people are truly facing a terrible situation and while I hold no sympathy for the sort of guys who publish guides here on TH-cam on how best to do sex tourism, I do feel bad for the sort of guys who watch those videos and think that this is a good thing for them to do. The world needs more openness and empathy.

Two of my three Serbian Aunties are divorced because their ex husbands didn't understand that Serbian women run the home. The one Aunt that didn't get divorced? Married a Croatian. The other blokes were Maori and Aussie. Bubba used to put salt in Deda's booze so she could use it for rubbing alcohol/medicine and he wouldn't drink it, which to me is hilarious.
