@@waterisbased The thing with that kind of propaganda is that you have a handful of groups, be it adversarial governments like Russia and China are to most western nations, homegrown extermist groups, or even a mix of both working together when their goals coincide, purposefully propagating ideas to create further divison within a nation's population and destabilize their current government, impeding on their ability to follow with their current foreign policies, weakening their position within the nation's political horizon, etc...
Nowadays it often takes the form of waves of social media posts, using bots or actual humans, which is then, unknowingly or not, parroted by people influenced by them, which, akin to dominos, results in even more people being influenced by that propaganda campaign and doing the same.
In the end, the talking points made for that propaganda campaign end up so entangled in the public perception that you need to go through painstaking efforts, lasting years if not decades, to clear out the misconceptions on a wide enough scale for these talking points to die out. But, unfortunately, the people who benefit from these propaganda campaigns don't just wait for the previous talking points to die out before putting new ones out, making for an impossible battle to win.
All that to say, we shouldn't underestimate the sheer amount of actual humans who fall victim to the waves of bots and unknowingly spread all that nonsense further. We may have seen a recrudescence of Russian bots in the last decade, but they, despite being instigators, still only make up a small portion of the overall discussion.
In the end, resuming it all to them mostly being bots only reinforces the position victims of these propaganda campaigns hold, as they inevitably feel attacked whenever someone says that "most people", which is mostly interpreted as "all" rather than "big subset" by the human brain, who hold similar views to them are all bots. The goal shouldn't be to indirectly reinforce the propaganda, but to weaken it.

You are right about that the west definitely hasn’t fallen and that a lot of the people on the internet are making it seem way worse than it actually is. With that being said I think the west has a lot of problems that it needs to address in order to remain dominant and many people on the internet like to focus just on the problems because they are from first world countries and are therefore are used to a high standard of living that seems crazy to foreigners from less developed countries.

Gattsu sees himself as political liberal in the US-American sense, maybe because of his strong dislike against Russian propaganda ("the west is so bad everything is better here") and the corruption and double standards of "non-bureaucratic right wing" politicians.
Therefore he often does not want to take the existence of problems, that are often brought up by conservative or right leaning people, serious.
      Here is the thing:
He could see gender obsession (hormones for children, gender-affirming surgery payed by health insurance, everyone can choose their pronoun...) as problematic and still not fall for Russian propaganda against gay people.
He could see the problems of de-industrialization and still be for a greener planet.
He could see the problems with different VISA systems, but also see why VISAs are necessary.
He could acknowledge problems with Islamism in France and Belgium imported through migration and still be for religious freedom.
But his videos are sadly always very one sided ("I made vacation in Paris and there were no big problems for me. Andrew Tate is a sex offender. The west has not fallen.").

There are some points that I agree with, but I think for me the reason why western europe is so fascinating for eastern europeans is sense of security and how well state functions.
I’m Georgian as well, I love my country and I understand that it’s safer and more prosperous than most of developing post-soviet states, but constant economic and political crisis, lack of opportunities, region that is a literal geopolitical time-bomb and neighboring goddamn Russia that constantly wants to invade you and conquer you feels like a way more significant problem and threat for existence itself than some riots and dirty hoods.
Countries like this feel like sitting on a keg full of explosives, even though we are not dying of hunger.

Gattsu, I like some of your content, but if your idea of having "boots on the ground" is being a tourist in a certain country for a couple days, I have to burst your bubble. Tourism, like you clearly mentioned in another one of your videos, is meant to portray the best image of your country, kinda like North Korean tour guides do by explicitly telling you not to dig up all the dirt there is. This video is full of anecdotes so let's ground ourselves with some facts: birthrates are falling in the west, communities are disappearing, trust is falling, the increase in suicide is higher, the average young adult has no hopes for the future, in part because of the culture and in large part because it has become impossible for new generations to even dream about owning a house of their own. I have lived in both the west and in third world. In the third world, I could buy a house without a mortgage, and while it is not much, it is something I could call my own. I have cousins who are in their 20s, already have children and live in their own house. And that is statistically still the average over there. In the west however, me AND my girlfriend both cannot get a mortgage of 200k Euros (which is not nearly enough to even buy a small apartment) even when both employed on a decent job. There are several valid reasons why one would go live outside of the west today. One thing I agree with you is that women™ is not a valid excuse to escape the west.

I grew up in the hood in London and I totally agree. Despite what you hear about the stabbings London is a safe city. It’s not exactly the cleanest city but it doesn’t smell like piss all the time. And the people you’ll meet are great. A lot of negativity is hyped up by the media for attention and for political fear-mongering. A lot of it is pretty racially charged as well. Most of the gang violence stays within the gangs themselves (even though civilians are sometimes sadly accidental victims)
The only problem for London is how it’s becoming very expensive and mass gentrification is taking place. Normal working people can’t afford to live here anymore and are moving out. There’s now an exodus of working class former Londoners living outside of London in places like Essex and Kent. There are entire towns on the border of London built just to house these people and they are depressing AF. This also brings the drugs and gangs over to these regions as well. Meanwhile there are entire council estates in central London that are completely empty and are basically run by the gangs. That’s something that the media doesn’t really talk about.

It's why you thought Paris was great and why Bald thinks a place like London is shit. You can make a very strong argument for the west being better than the impoverished east, but you're still only experiencing a glimpse of that location.
Something comparable would be here in the states many kids run off and attend some university in another state. They might live there for years, but only end up experiencing that city within their college bubble (which is VERY much a bubble). They likely won't have anything bad to say about the larger area/city as a whole, cause they were essentially a tourist. I believe that centuries of miserable history, exploitation, and decades of corrupt politics have birthed a people of, terrible pride, hostility, and hatred. It felt like in the South people will smile at you and offer you hospitality, but what lives in their hearts is typically quite different. i live in a conservative third world country, and if u have a lot of money here, you will live an amazing life, way better than working class and even rich people in western countries because everything here is cheaper and the nature is beautiful, but if u dont have a lot of money u will live a horrible difficult life, while middle class or working people in the west still manage to live comfortable and respectable life, thats the difference between the west and the east

It depends. If you mean "cheap" is going to a stinky unsanitized market full of flies then no. The grocery store that's owned by big retail companies in third-world countries is good as in first-world countries but it's more expensive for the third-world middle class.

I can use the same logic here tho i didn't get assaulted at my visits of Kiev, Chelyabinsk, st Petersburg or Moscow. Belgrade was one of the cleanest cities i have seen when compared to western cities. The priest in Dubrovnik Croatia that married me and my wife as a surprise (we where both visiting i didn't marry an easyern european mail order bride incase that gets thrown around) helped me with the arrangements and keeping it a secret for my wife that we would be marrying there. I could walk around Budapest city center take a video and go "wow this place is a paradise" just as easily. Culturally there are problems tho you talk about the LGBT because youre expecting the poor oppressed ones yet i come from the country where they legalized gay marriage first but apperently that still isn't enough and the gay people in my personal life oppose the pride parades, tell me what's so great about men in fetish gear walking in front of children? Gattsu is out here unable to understand what culture is. The West is deteriorating, and calling all these people ped*s will not validate your opinions on the bigger matters. The West was completely unrivalled in the past, but over the years it has fallen from that state. Maybe for a poor dude from Georgia it doesn't mean anything, but for ITS people, it's their home. You haven't lived in France or any Western country it seems, or had parents who helped build that foundation for a better future, but love to brag bout merely visiting them. Life is expensive and difficult here for many nowadays, and there are problems beyond your comprehension. If Canada ever does accept your visa application for you to live and work here, maybe you'll start to understand what those problems are when in practice. When people complain about the West falling, most everyday people I know aren't even thinking about some third-world country which no one here cares about. There's a reason that like 8/10 people you stop on the streets here would not be able to point out Ukraine on a map. We simply don't give a sh*t. We got our own lives here from OUR ancestors before, and opening the gates to (majority) less educated immigrants to increase competition is stressful, and creates feelings of unease in most well-established communities here already.

The riots were not for him, they were an excuse for looting they did not hide their intentions, and the victim, althrough its sad that he died, was a petty criminal endangering peoples in the street. The shooting may or not have been justified, it is the justice role to judge not people. Thats how most protests end up unfortunately. Bad people use what was supposed to be good to do damage, but i think its the media that blows everything out of proportion because it was a black kid.
For example, a yter Donut Operator has a videoabout a shooting where in america a white teen with his gf was eating a burger in his car and a cop thought they were in a stolen vehicle because it looked similar to one; so when he pointed his gun at them and they reversed away he shot at the kid and he was hospitalised but lived. But there was no huge media thing over that or riots as far as i think. But when George Floyd, a criminal ON DRUGS dies (most likely from the drugs) after another police mistake suddenly it's this huge thing.
Sensationalist media that is overly negative is a big problem.

It's not fallen completely, but the West is definitely declining. As someone who was born and raised in Britain (and still lives there), it has hit its peak.
It's easier to get annoyed and sick of whqt you're familar with and I understand your grudges with Georgia. But here’s why some look at Eastern Europe, Central Asia and China with rose tinted glasses- the opportunity to improve is definitely a thing. Although I will say as someone with a Dad born and raised in China, how much such a place can improve in the next 30 years is very subjective.
The opportunity for the West to improve is finished because everyone has become complacent. Instead it's everyone arguing over luxury beliefs and social programs. But of course, the West has questionable age demographics and some can't work out what a man or woman really is.

As a Romanian, I agree. Most Romanians think of Britain as some sort of heaven. Here people always envy the west and believe that Romania will always have “corrupt politicians and corrupt priests”. But as someone who visited Britain, although you have nice architecture and history, I would not like to live there or raise my children there. You have lgbt flag everywhere, even in kids toy shops and schools. You dont have religion. Your country doesnt even seem like a country. You know those weird white guys who are obsessed with anime and japanese culture, thinking Japan is paradise. Gattsu is the same, but his deal is North America and Western Europe. Just looking at a number on a paycheck is completely meaningless. A pack of cigarettes in Iran is $2, and in Norway its $14. People in Spain, Croatia, Italy etc live with their parents until they are 30+ because they can't afford a place of their own. A middle-class couple who both work full-time can't afford a place in the greater Toronto metropolitan area. If you think the world is unfair you can relax, the quality of life in the West has been steadily going down since the 90s, and it's not stopping.

The west is awful. Yes. I feel considerably more secure and at ease in Eastern Europe. You traveled to 'Paris', saw the Eiffel Tower, a pleasant park, and it was 'wonderful'. Sure. You are very uneducated; I have family all throughout Western countries, and what they say in private about the situation of their small communities is not heard in public. Then they are startled when people like Wilders, Meloni, Austria's far right, Le Pen's party, or the AfD win elections. They feel hopeless because politicians are uninterested in listening to their local issues and concerns.
