Great tips! I can vouch for the effectiveness of keeping the elbow high on the backswing. I taped myself and was shocked to see how long my backswing was! Next time out my sole focus was on keeping the elbow up and my video shows a much shorter backswing. Thanks!

With that tip on keeping the elbows out in the ready position I crushed my volleys last week! Thank you!

Ryan, you are great. Fantastic tips. You don’t talk about stances much ? I switched to an open stance from a neutral stance, and it helped my forehand be more consistent . Maybe something you could cover in future videos

Hi Brian! Hey thanks for the kind words. Here’s a video I made on the subject. th-cam.com/video/YvfrBcJ9oNA/w-d-xo.html

Update: My hips were turning, but I’d rarely see my free hand above my shoulder in video. The hand would come up at the end of the stroke to catch the racket, but I knew I got something wrong-I had shortened my takeback and my free shoulder wasn’t under my chin, so the free hand was moving too early. I do it right with the Topspin Pro, but a live ball is a horse of a different color!
    Gonna get this.

Please don’t do another video highlighting keeping the rear elbow up. My adversaries will see it and crush me!
    Thank you!
