    Teacher Karen, you are really a strong teacher. I cried many times when adult students became rude, but now, I have learned not to take things personally. Thank you so much!

    Thanks teacher karen for this informative video. During my 1st year as a teacher in senior high, I encountered those kind of students (the whole class) . It started with one very disrespectful student (the class pres.) that soon influenced the whole class. As a finearts grad, I dont have any training on classroom management and in dealing with those type of students. I was really culture shocked that time,even until now,I get pissed off whenever I see them in socialmedia. I like the part "lose the figh", ''let go and move on'' thanks for this video.

      Being bullied as a child, being in front of bullies was my biggest nightmare so I did my best to learn how to handle difficult people may they be kids or adults. Know that we get better over time. Classroom management is something we develop as we get the experience the "difficult ones"

    I like the idea, "be willing to lose" because if you really analyze the situation, a teacher will never win fighting with his or her students, because they are not your level. Incase a teacher won, there's no self-fulfillment anyway, so it is better to lose the battle.

    Hi Teacha Karen! I'm glad I came across your video, Ive been an ESL Teacher for a long time and it does irritate me to my core when the Students themselves don't understand and cooperate on their end.
    you got me on BE WILLING TO LOSE.
    'coz that just hit the nail right on the head..
    Can you share more tips in handling negative feedbacks? Thanks

    • @TeachaKaren
      @TeachaKaren  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Negative feedback is inevitable because we cannot impress everyone. I always get hut a little at first as I am only human, but I shrug it off and then I LEARN from them. I make sure they never happen again, thus I take a preventive approach. But if the negative complaint is not for me, let's say it's for the company, I just move on and say to my self the odds are not in my favor...ok move one LOL

  • @cynthiaalsup3585
    @cynthiaalsup3585 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

    I think what you're ultimately saying is that, you aren't going to get them to say "you are right," even if you are. But in some cases you can get them to relax and cooperate if you tell them they are right, since they do have a point and have a right to be different, and let it go.

    Teacha Karen. I experience it earlier. Yung student ko panay flip her middle finger. I saw it na nung una pinalampas ko lang. But she keeps doing it and medj nainis na ko. I talked to her 5 minutes before we finished our class. Sabi ko sa kanya na okay we are done here. Why do you keep flipping your middle finger to me? Is there anything... Blah blah ganon. But in my most mildest and calmest tone. Nung sinabi ko na I want to talk to her parents natahimik na siya and yung kasama niya tumakbo na palabas. I chatted my TM na regarding about it and waiting for her response. I also put it in my remarks na ganon nga. Tama ba yung ginawa ko? Haha. I know in myself na tama kase if she can do it to me for sure she already do it to other teachers naden. I kinda feel bad because of the incident na yun medj degrading pala siya sa feels. ☹️

    • @TeachaKaren
      @TeachaKaren  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Better to report it right away via CS.. - student not following guidance then put noted that the student gave you the finger and refuses to listen.
      Better not to interrogate or question their actions, just say it makes you sad (but not really, you shouldnt be affected by this..not worth it)
      Then you did the right thing when you asked for the parents :)
