Bonjour my lovelies, I’m so glad you laugh with me I was very cheeky this day thank you for sharing your beauty tips on the comments. Feel free to share this video love you 😍 Frederique
It was wonderful when you started to laugh! My favorite part (! I yearn to see the black sticky tape eyebrows!!!) All very good suggestions! ❤️. Also my daughter told me about Dr. Dray, who is very knowledgeable. "Sunscreen and subscribe!"
I just love how u laugh at yourself and what you say. Makes my day and I'm sure plenty of others. I adore how you honored your grandmother by dedicating this to her. My grandmother, too, was French. Always with a red lip and earrings!!
My grandmother was French (sang w Edith Piaf) and she was very low key glam until a very old age....always lipstick and eyebrows,mascara... manicure...she was olive skinned so she wore a pink lip and nail (REVLON) and never changed this...it was her signature...L'air du Temps was her signature parfum
I was watching an aesthetician talk about skincare and she said that before getting bottox or fillers, every woman should improve her complexion. Getting rid of those sun spots makes the skin look so beautiful and youthful. It gives that radiant look we all strive for. Love your videos. Really admire your hard work and consistency 💕
Vichy has an excellent night treatment for sunspots with Vitamin A? I think. I used it for two years, only in the autumn and winter, since it will thin the skin slightly and expose it to more sunlight, then a good oil and sunscreen in the day, and haven't had to reapply the sunspot treatment for another 3 years. Not bad, eh? The problem didn't resurface.
@@ritalagrenade2747 I do intermittent fasting with keto...I listened to Dr.Berg on TH-cam and created my own program...usually 16-18 hour fasting w a high protein low carb diet
I’ve had an emotional day crying and watching your video just made me laugh put me in a good mood I love it when you’re like this I love your advice, I get so much out of your videos. I live in America and I’m trying to get women to be more classy like French women. Again I’m so glad you were funny because it really helped me and I love your advice and I agree with everything you said.
I also live in America and don’t think women here need to be like French women so much as to just take better care of themselves. I often have women think I am very rich & have people do my make up, nails & hair (but I don’t) or they think I’m a snob. But, it’s really just the fact that I care about how I look. Do you have the same experience?
My grandmother was the same for me... here are some tips... drink lots of water everyday, know your colors, and stay true to your own personal style... "what looks good on you is what's in style"... as my French grandmother would say! :)
What you say about the eye make up when we get older is so true. I use to wear every day a eyeliner. But now i have noticed at my 41 years only mascara looks so much better. My 3 favorite products are mascara, eyebrow pencil and a bronzer. The nail polish color you are wearing in this video is so pretty ❤️
I agree. I am fair skinned and I also use a teeny tiny bit of blush just on the apple of cheek. I need that little tiny bit of color. Oh and also a bit of under eye concealer. A sheer one. I’m 59
You have a very infectious laugh! The eyebrows reminded me of when one of my sons, aged about 17 at the time, fell asleep at a party. He woke up to discover his friends had shaved his eyebrows off! But the funniest part of the episode (for me at least) was when he used a pen to try and draw them back on before school. Probably he would’ve got away with it if he hadn’t used a blue pen …
It’s wonderful that you thought so highly of your Grandmother, I can relate, dearly loved my grandparents and was especially close to my Grandmother. She taught me about clothes, makeup and jewelry. She was so a lot of fun . Great times we had.
You're so full of knowledge about beauty and fashion. You're personality is so uplifting. Your friends and family are lucky to have you in their lives. What makes you so happy?
Bonjour Frederique! I always felt like the ugly duckling among my beautiful relatives who look like models. That's why I didn't focus on beauty. I focused on being intelligent instead. I've never had anyone to give me direction. Wish I had known your grandmother. So happy I found you. Love love love you. XOXO
Dr, Dray is a hoot. Love HotandFlashy too, she isnt a doctor but she knows her audience! Primarily for women 50 plus but she is fabulous! You make me laugh, Mwah.
Dr Dray is the best! She has saved me hundreds of dollars in skincare. I am 60 with very light, thin skin. I look like I’m in my 40’s. I’ve been asked what special creams I use. I use fragrance free department store moisturizer. Dr dray taught me that great sunscreen and Retin-A are all you need to have your best skin. Do not need expensive creams etc. sorry, but I just love her. Anyway, Great video !
I have very oily skin...n had acne spots for long..till I started using almond oil n coconut oils for my skin!now its the best skin I've had in years! N u r the best!
Hey Frederique I know a 95 year old lady who has her hair dyed all different colors - pink, blue, green! She rocks it! I guess it did not exist when she was 20 and now she can do whatever she wants!!
My grandmother had a blue hue to her hair. My Aunt finally mentioned it to her and she stopped using the product, then used it sparingly and that solved the issue. My stylist said it was too much of a certain shine product that had built up. Luv that you laugh at yourself. Sign of intelligence and enjoying life!
I loved this video and you laughing about the eyebrows and hair colour - so totally relatable! Thanks for your honesty and 'realness" - so much appreciated.
Hello Frédérique, I'm really enjoying your channel. I'm Italian and some of these tips would resonate with me. My mother was always effortlessly classy and put-together. Keep up the good work!
You are awesome! I have watched a number of your videos and I love the fact that you are straightforward and do not sugarcoat things. My hands are very important to me and I love starting and ending the day by placing them in a paraffin bath scented with lavender. It not only moisturizes your hands but surrounds them in heat helping with any type of muscle or joint soreness.
I'm all about skincare over makeup and for makeup all I need is tinted SPF, my eyelash curler and color on my lips. I try to keep it all simple but high quality.
I totally agree with you about hair colour! I can never understand why women who were brunettes or readheads when they were younger suddenly decide they'd look better as a blonde when they get older. I get that the roots won't show as much, but if it totally clashes with their skin and eye colour, it just doesn'tlook right! I was naturally blonde until I was in my 50s, which is unusual, so then I started having it coloured, but it doesn't look strange because that's how people are used to seeing me. But I think you have to be careful if you're thinking of changing the colour of your hair when you're older
Good afternoon Frederique! Thank you for so many on point tips to take note no matter the age. I laughed with you regarding garish eye brows and purple and blue hair on women. Love and giggles! 💕
My eye tips: a little bit of shadow blended with a dab of vaseline will do it nicely. Also, you can just put a dab of mascara and blend as a smoky eyeliner. Or even try your lipstick with a dab on checks and eyelids with a dab of vaseline. A little goes a long way.
About 7 years ago I got lazy & quit coloring over my gray hair so when I just 'let it go', the gray came in as highlights & I've gotten so many compliments on it that I just leave it alone :)
Love the video! I agree with color of hair. Fortunately, I have found a great stylist. I get compliments almost every time I go out. Though. I can't resist the glitter eyeshadow. Lol
Mascara is an absolute must for me! But some form of exercise should also be included....walking, swimming, rowing, whatever you can do. You feel great and your skin glows :) Love you! Awesome video as always!
As a beauty consultant and makeup artist for estee lauder, my mantra to clients was to to com care skin care to how we take care of fine leather -- coats, shoes, handbags etc. They can be replaced. Our skin cannot so please treat well. It's precious and irreplaceable.
I enjoyed your giggles at the end...you got me laughing too! :-) Dr. Dray has some very good information, she is worth subscribing to I agree! I recently tried Grande Cosmetics' Brow and Lash serums to help with the regrowth...and I'm finding that they work!! I am so excited, and I hope that they're available worldwide for ladies to try. My brows have never looked this full in over 30 years, and my lashes are doing great, too! My personal tips to looking "presentable" (most likely I'll never reach chic and elegant...haha!) are 1) be clean and always comb/brush hair before going out (how many ladies do you see with the back of the head all frizzed up?!), 2) wear unstained/unwrinkled clothes and undergarments -- especially a BRA (I'm thinking of what I've seen during the pandemic...ugh!), 3) wear earrings and lipgloss/lipstick at minimum for makeup, and 4) carry a handbag that's in good shape and suits your style. Love your videos, Frederique...I always learn something useful!
I laugh a lot and believe me it makes me look younger. I am 43 and many people think I'm 30. I don't know how old Frédérîque is but I'm sure she looks younger than her age. She laughs a lot. A happy soul! ❤️

Hi Frédérique! I'm new here :) love your channel, you're so fresh and uplifting, I just love it! Thank you for the tips, I have one for you too, I live in Southeast Asia and the sun is really strong, I use sunscreen all year around, I use it in my hands as well. Yes, I take it in my bag and I apply it instead of the hand cream whenever I need. And my favourite sunscreen is from a French brand - Nuxe :)
I love that you're laughing so much! It's infectious and for that, I think you 😏 I can imagine the "eyebrow lady", we all know someone who draws big, dark, solid and strangely unnatural eyebrows. Why?? I was definitely laughing along with you, you really do seem to be such fun. Stay safe and well, have a great week 😍
Hi Frederique, I have very sensitive skin and it took me a while to find the right foundation. Now, I keep 2 tones of the foundation that match my skin and I combine them throughout the year. It was so lovely that you mentioned your grandmother! I can imagine how much she influenced you. I am sure, she didn't dye her hair blue or purple either! I am laughing and enjoying watching your video, one of the best!
It's been a while since I watched one of your videos, Frédérique, and I can't tell you how much I enjoyed it. Thank you for sharing the principals of French beauty. I mostly wear minimal make-up already, but my nail grooming habits (I'm a nail/cuticle biter - ugly habit!) and the "bones" of quality self-care, I now realize, need some attention. Sending you best wishes from Arizona!
Hair mask: egg yolk, olive oil, a few drops of clove oil and rosemary oil. Keep on 2 hrs before you wash your hair. I rescued my hair like that. Also don't wash your hair with hot water but with lukewarm water.
Oh how you cheered me up today! You give wonderful styling and fashion advice which I have incorporated into my wardrobe. I could listen to your beautiful voice all day and seeing you lose it in a fit of giggles was so funny! Xx
I love the blue haired ladies! They pioneered the rainbow hair color trends we see today! As I gray, I think a deep purple will compliment me! 😄 As a black person I'm cautious about facial makeup tattoos; I don't think professionals are sufficiently trained for black skin. They see us and think "go dark as possible" which isn't always the right choice. I've had this experience with henna tattoos. This was a fun video!
I’m so with you on the eyebrows! They can look like two slugs on a face! Thank you for starting my day with a good giggle! Loved the video as usual but so glad of the chance to giggle too! Keep being you … you’re such a normal, honest, positive person who shares so much advice with us all 👍🏻👏🏻🙏🏻
Hi Frédérique, I'm so glad you recommended Dr Dray (Dr Andrea Suarez). She is a board certified dermatologist who uploads a TH-cam video everyday! My day is not complete without watching Dr Dray. She will help you save money by knowing what to look for and what to avoid on product ingredient lists. Dr Dray is kind, serious and respectful discussing skincare issues...but also has a wonderful personality and is very funny otherwise. Mo from TH-cam's "Mo's Skin Lab" is a Pharmacologist & Toxicologist. He reads and answers every viewer comment about skincare. "Lab Muffin Beauty Science" is great too. I subscribe to all of these dedicated You Tube content creators, as well as you too Frédérique of course! 👱♀️❤
After a long day dealing with a few unpleasant personalities, your laugh-y video restored my good mood! Great tips, too. Best one to me is for makeup to look "neat." Neat makeup looks best at every age but is SO important for mature faces. It's the same with clothes. Can't be stylish and chic when messy and smeary. I live in a humid region and fight frizz and smudges constantly - argh!
If the thought of funny eyebrows makes you chuckle the following story ought to make you smile as well. I had a friend who wanted to do something with her hair for a wedding (she was a just a wedding guest not the bride fortunately). Her cousin (who was training to be a hairdresser) offered to come to her house to do her hair for her. So she put the perm solution on and they decided to kick back with a few drinks while they waited for the chemicals to do their work. Well they got completely drunk, fell asleep and when my friend woke up several hours later her hair was completely fried: ruined! She had such beautiful long healthy hair before this incident but had to cut off most of it to offset the damage.
The charm of alcohol.... Coming from a long line of alcoholics, we Americans really need to learn when to walk away from the bar. I listen to country music today and it's all about drinking, drinking, drinking. Not a good look for the ladies. Unfortunately I am a slow learner in this respect.😮💨
Jesteś wspaniała, koniec filmu rozbawił mnie do łez, też tak czasem mam jak zacznę się śmiać to nie mogę przestać. Pozdrawiam serdecznie z Polski 😁 Agata
Your laughter was contagious when you spoke of having too thick/unnaturally filled eyebrows on an otherwise beautiful face lol. Wonderful video and tips, thank you ❤️
Always fun watching you! My hair is naturally silver white - but occasionally I will use a tinted conditioner to deliberately make it lavender. For me, it's just fun!
I follow Dr Dray as well. She is great reviewing many many products!! She just went to Paris for a derm.conference! Visited a french pharmacy!! I wish 🤣
Thank you, Frederique, for using pictures of mature women for your examples here. As much as we hope make-up makes us look younger...., we can only enhance, not change, what we already have with make-up. Also, thank you for sharing your cute, down-to-earth, sense of humor, you made me smile and laugh this entire video.

Dear Emily, you are so right with this one: a good, quality sleep is just priceless!👍🤗

Hair mask: egg yolk, olive oil, a few drops of clove oil and rosemary oil. Keep on 2 hrs before you wash your hair. I rescued my hair like that. Also don't wash your hair with hot water but with lukewarm water.
I find your videos charming and useful. Thank you!
Oh how you cheered me up today! You give wonderful styling and fashion advice which I have incorporated into my wardrobe. I could listen to your beautiful voice all day and seeing you lose it in a fit of giggles was so funny! Xx
Love Dr. Dray! Simple, clean, polished! Great advice! I also enjoy 'swimming' in my Chanel, it is my one extravagance!
It really is!
I love Dr Dray as well no nonsense skin care from a dermatologist
Yes!! New subscriber!!
I love Dr Dray. She has made me embrace my skin and always with sunscreen. Love her! Now I love you!!!
Woohoo, thank you for subbing and welcome xxx
Another great video 👍 your laughter is infectious I was laughing along with you 😂 the one thing I can't live without is mascara if I had to choose 🙌
Hahaha I knew it was good idea not to edit this part x
I absolutely love your authenticity! Thank you for making this video. These are great tips!
I am sorry I accidentally didn't put
Exclamation mark. I meant to say
I love your hair! It is lovely! Thank you
No worries 😉
I loved your laugh! We ALL have that one friend that you can barely keep a straight face about their eyebrows. 🥸
I love the blue haired ladies! They pioneered the rainbow hair color trends we see today! As I gray, I think a deep purple will compliment me! 😄
As a black person I'm cautious about facial makeup tattoos; I don't think professionals are sufficiently trained for black skin. They see us and think "go dark as possible" which isn't always the right choice. I've had this experience with henna tattoos. This was a fun video!
Thank you so much for watching xxx
You made my evening :-D You are so funny and beautiful Frederique
Merci jorunn xx
I’m so with you on the eyebrows! They can look like two slugs on a face! Thank you for starting my day with a good giggle! Loved the video as usual but so glad of the chance to giggle too! Keep being you … you’re such a normal, honest, positive person who shares so much advice with us all 👍🏻👏🏻🙏🏻
What a sweet comment, I'm glad you like it xx
👱♀️❤
thank you lovely xxxx
After a long day dealing with a few unpleasant personalities, your laugh-y video restored my good mood! Great tips, too. Best one to me is for makeup to look "neat." Neat makeup looks best at every age but is SO important for mature faces. It's the same with clothes. Can't be stylish and chic when messy and smeary. I live in a humid region and fight frizz and smudges constantly - argh!
Thank you so much for watching xxx
Un pur bonheur ce fou rire 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Merci de tout cœur 😘
Hahaha j’en ris encore!
My beauty tip is always remove your makeup at night. Your blouse is so pretty, perfect v neck and tiny spots.
Omg 😱 this is so funny and horrible in same time people still do perm?
The charm of alcohol.... Coming from a long line of alcoholics, we Americans really need to learn when to walk away from the bar. I listen to country music today and it's all about drinking, drinking, drinking. Not a good look for the ladies. Unfortunately I am a slow learner in this respect.😮💨
@@ms.frederique It was a good few years ago and at the time perms were popular in America.
@@ms.frederiqueSuprisingly they do, I ve watched recently some of Brad's Mondo reactions to it, hilarious!
You made my evening! 🥰 Such a hilarious video! 😅
thank you so much xxxx
Jesteś wspaniała, koniec filmu rozbawił mnie do łez, też tak czasem mam jak zacznę się śmiać to nie mogę przestać. Pozdrawiam serdecznie z Polski 😁 Agata
In English please
You are wonderful, the end of the movie made me laugh to tears, so sometimes I start to laugh and I can't stop. Best regards from Poland 😁 Agata
I'm so laughing once again fun with info that we all can use merci
Merci sylvia x
Your hair looks great! Did you get a recent cut? It looks more cropped.
I watch Dr. Dray regularly, and have learned great skin tips.
A hair video coming soon !
The blue shine on white or gray hair hair is the use of silver shampoo what's usually used by bleached blondes to avoid a yellow color in their hair
I was also going to say eyebrows! If I don't have much time, it's eyebrows and mascara and out the door!
Perfect 🤩
Your laugh is so contagious! Watched this video just now and found myself giggling 😂
Your laughter was contagious when you spoke of having too thick/unnaturally filled eyebrows on an otherwise beautiful face lol. Wonderful video and tips, thank you ❤️
I agree with you 100 %!!!
I’m a Chanel Gabrielle girl! Love it.
Love Dr Dray. Love your laugh!
😊
Always fun watching you! My hair is naturally silver white - but occasionally I will use a tinted conditioner to deliberately make it lavender. For me, it's just fun!
Thank you so much for watching xxx
Afternoon giggle! 😂😂Many thanks from Toronto!
lol
You and Dr. Dray are my favorites - she told me about Cerave!
Love the Giggles - you can't help it. It's your 'funny bone'. I'm just glad you have one.
lol
I LOVE YOUR LAUGH! it makes me happy and laughing as well. great tips as always. :D
Thank you so much for watching xxx
I follow Dr Dray as well. She is great reviewing many many products!! She just went to Paris for a derm.conference! Visited a french pharmacy!! I wish 🤣
Omg....I never laughed so much 😭 lol 😆. Thanks I needed that lol
Hahaha anytime line xx
Thank you, Frederique, for using pictures of mature women for your examples here. As much as we hope make-up makes us look younger...., we can only enhance, not change, what we already have with make-up. Also, thank you for sharing your cute, down-to-earth, sense of humor, you made me smile and laugh this entire video.
My pleasure!
Je t’ai découverte il y a une semaine, je t’adore! 🤩🤩🤩
Woohoo bienvenue 🙏
