Anything that is old is interesting to learn about. Thanks for being willing to teach.

I had heard of toll painting in Scandinavian communities but not tollware. I really like how you filmed as you looked for that. Very good! 👍👏🌷💖🌷Keep it up. BTW hi from West coast. 👋

Thanks for this. I found a piece at a thrift store today but it looked repainted.

I've found it before. Once found a gilt toleware tray that was made of heavy steel. I doubt it was repainted. Bought for pennies and resold for dimes (and not the silver ones) years ago because the market has moved on.

Thrilled for this channel. I love watching you show/discuss anything VTG or ANTIQUE. When CLL & GEORGE went through 1 of y’all’s warehouses showing us treasures = that was VERY interesting!! Like how old is old when talking about art glass besides the milk glass?? 🤜🏼🤛🏼❤️👍

I love seeing what you have for sale and what has sold. Maybe you could have whoever is standing at the front use one of those clicker counters to count how many people come in on any given day?

I collect uranium glass. It's not worth much now but showing how it glows under blacklight would be a fun video. Not just green but custard glass as well. Jocelyn never has a blacklight flashlight with her.

Loved this! I'd love to see anything highlighted like this! I'm very inexperienced and love to learn. I now know my mom had a beautiful toleware tray...that I probably just donated during a move sadly. Anyway, thanks, very informative!

I’m watching this video on toleware. I’m enjoying seeing this. But it made me wonder if you do videos or have done videos on other types of antiques. Well you just said if we have a subject matter to mention it to you and you will see if you can do a video on the antique we are interested in collecting. I’m 69 years old and collect many things. My parents raised me going through antique stores. Many times my parents were told they don’t normally allow children to wander through their store unattended but that I was always welcomed. I knew antiques early and could discuss them with the shop owners. Not all but there were several I knew much about. One I just done see much of except on eBay, where they ask crazy prices, is copper luster with cobalt. My daddy collected that and I inherited his modest collection and have added to it over the years. If you have any and have the time I would love to watch a video regarding the origin, manufacturer’s of copper luster and How you think they made it to America. Thanx for reading my text and any possible future response. Love seeing your videos. Josh works hard. You should give him a raise.

Thanks for this. I just bought a very old toleware tray. Not in great condition but if I was more than 100 years old I would look pretty beat up too! 😉
One item that is popular right now are small wood spice cabinets or apothecary cabinets. The kind you mount on a wall or sit on a table that have multiple drawers with round pulls.
These were reproduced many times so curious about seeing different examples of true antiques vs more recent but still vintage reproductions.
