That first minute and a half when you were driving to the auction was some very nice ASMR. Too bad it wasn’t longer than that.

the red and yellow thing you didn't know what it was is a corn sheller. you put corn ear in the hole and turn the crank and it shells the dried corn off the ear.

I loved the scenic drive in the beginning minutes only wished it was longer. You picked some great things! But I have to say you made blush at how cute you looked with your sun tan cheeks💖. Lucky Salsa Woof Woof🐾

Loved when you were driving through farm country. This auction really was huge, enjoyed it. Was thinking of you the other day, we took the grandkids on a train ride in Jim Thorpe, nice scenery while on the train.

Aw my heart cried a little when I saw that little brown and white teddy bear. I had one just like that growing up. We sawed so many button eye on him over the years and I never new what happened to him after I left home. But I do still have my stuffed Scotty dog toy. It is from 1956 McCall pattern my grandmother used. It is patch work and square ish. I treasure.
I had a scotty dog too when I was little (early 70s) it was blue & yellow and like you said squarrish...like it looked like it was sitting so only had two front legs. I loved the heck out of it!
This grandma loves your hair. Reminds me of how guys wore their hair in when I was in high school. Lol. Stay safe.

Your "pewter" is Wilton Armetale. Manufactured originally in Wrightsville, Columbia and then Mount Joy. I grew up with it because my dad was employed there for many, many years. You really scored because these items were very expensive when new.

Farmersville Auction in Ephrata! We are camping near there!
We went on vacation with the kids a bunch of years ago and went to Hershey for the amusement park and while we were in Pa. we ate at a place named " Good and Plenty". It was a pretty cool place. They opened and shuttled everyone in to long tables and started bringing food out.
I love your road trips. I have never been to PA and can no longer attend auctions. Someday you and Salsa and Paper Moose need to come to IN to the big flea market in Shipshewana.

I’ve just subscribed to you channel today… First of all that ride you took to the auction house on the back roads I am assuming of Pennsylvania I would’ve loved done that… I noticed your sun looked like it was blocked by maybe some of our smoke here in Reno Nevada western NEVADA about 4 hours from the Dixie fire near Westwood CA … been burning 🔥 since July 13th … love your videos already … love your Sourcing and love auctions… here everything dry rots n antiques are very high those that make it through the dry rot … I’m 75 stay at home away from the Covid craziness out there … thank you 😊

I like the ride along. Wow. I could really dig going to this auction. I've said it before but I will mention it again. Pennsylvania is beautiful, green, scenic with very courteous drivers. It is very clean. Go to eat. Go to see very pretty countryside. Talk to the people.

Loved this video. Lancaster, PA is a place I would live to visit. I have been there through the Amish novels that I have 📚 read. Seeing the wares on offer is always fun. The oval galvanized bath tubs and the old comic books brought back alot of memories.
What beautiful country drive. I wanted more or that. So I do hope you go down there again. You did a great job considering. You were having to figure it all out as you went. Lots of concentration needed for the first time. Saw that the was an Amish lady standing there. Was it the Amish that were doing all this?
I can not believe you ate all that food. The Amish foods are notoriously heavy and fatty. But yes so good. From a guy that we have only seen eat one donut and maybe a few tacos. You put it all away on that place.

That looked like a lot of fun. I loved seeing the covered bridge. Visiting a covered bridge is like traveling back to a simpler time that will never happen again. I live in Illinois near the Indiana border. Just across the Indiana boarder is Vermillion and Parke counties. Parke county is known as the covered bridge capital of the world. Vermillion county has 4 covered bridges and the neighboring county of Parke has 31 covered bridges, the most of any place in America. At one time both of these counties had close to 100 covered bridges. This region of Indiana holds the Covered Bridge Festival , the 2nd Friday in October and lasts 10 days. This festival is Indians largest.

I did furniture restoration and water marks on the top are not that bad, especially if there is no cracking or warping.
Mohawk Furniture Repair, Amsterdam ,New York has all the things, sprays , waxes tools to fix furniture.
Lancaster food is awesome but not healthy:)

I just went to Shady Maples Buffet 4 days ago! I thought I was on a cruise without the ship!! Amazing, HUGE and well-organized!!
Wow looked fun with everything going on. The buffet, seen some things online about that place. They have a walk-around video themselves. Most places like that are smaller service at lunchtime compared to suppertime. Thanks for sharing 👍🤓👍

There are a lot of larger Auctions bigger than that one! There is one in Nescopeck, PA. 5 times that size at least 5-10 auctioneers at one time pluss inside the Fire Hall there is a Craft Show, Bake Sale & Breakfast/Lunch Stand going on!

Depending on the piece it can go for more than the toys. The food in that buffet looks like tourist version Pennsylvania Dutch food. (I'd have pigged on local fresh fruit if they had it out. They grow awesome melons etc in southern PA.)

Our local live auctions have all gone online. They prices are insane. The only one running is Bud's Auction Barn which is SO country but fun. I am in the sticks and don't know if the live auctions are coming back. The best part was picking up no sales for a dollar when the auction was over.
