Traveled from Ohio to New Mexico to help son and daughter-in-law and their 2 children (age 1 and 3). Son had business trip last week and children will be home from daycare for 4 days. Must make pies today before everyone arrives home. Happy Thanksgiving from a vegan home this year.

Also , I’m thankful for UTube … sounds a little silly and a bit trivial … but , I discovered UTube / Crazy Lamp Lady during COVID / lockdown . Working in healthcare during this dark time , I needed a distraction . Jocelyn provided a respite from the chaos of dealing with the pandemic . Through CLL I was introduced to George, Kate , Sandy , Pete , Dagney and then last black Friday the Berner Brothers and the Heart of Ohio . The WhatNot community has been a source of entertainment , education , lots of laughter , shopping and a feeling of community . I’m grateful and thankful for all my WhatNot / Utube “ friends “ . But never realized they were all friends till they went to your warehouse . I used to work in an art gallery on cape cod. I love going to thrift stores amd antique shops. Thanks for making the videos.

The metal clamp with the ring attached is for use in a chemistry lab. The clamp goes on the post of a stand. Bunsen burner under the ring, and a glass beaker sitting on the top. At least that’s how I used one in my seventh grade chemistry class. I remember because I burned my hand removing a hot ring clamp from the post. 🤦‍♀️

Pie Night here we come! My church has a Thanksgiving Eve service, often known as Pie Night. There's no sermon, just a prayer to start and they pass a mike to whoever wants to talk about something from the last year. Lots of Bible verses and grandbabies come up. :-)

For several years now it's just been my daughter & I at home with our own special meal cause we don't have a car to go out to eat & the public transportation doesn't run on Thanksgiving 🦃 Day. It's the same this year & we are thankful for that & each other !!! My sister spends Thanksgiving with her daughter. We are thankful to God & for God for what we have & it's sad that there's families in NC & the other states that lost everything when the hurricane hit all of us !!! I pray that all of them will have a Thanksgiving meal someway !!! Enjoyed your video Jacob !!! 🙂❤️🙏🦃

Got to love Mo! He was helping us load our trunk with our Oktoberfest purchases and noticed we had bought a small red bucket. He asked what a bucket that size would have been used for. I told him it was a berry bucket…for picking berries. He looked at me, and with a straight face said “everybody needs a berry basket…”! We’re still laughing.
