The old one has an unrealistic number of small rooms, i understand why they changed it as obviously the new petrol station is the first map so needs to be a little easier.
The level in the final release has the same issue as a good number of the other maps in the base game. Where is the police cordon outside the location? The police department wouldn't send SWAT immediately. In a barricade hostage situation, they send a negotiator. It takes a long time for SWAT to get geared up. The negotiator is mainly there to try to resolve the situation peacefully, but to also keep the suspects from taking any drastic actions until SWAT arrives and comes up with a game plan. So where's the perimeter covered by the regular officers? Where is everybody? There's nothing. It's quiet. There's just you and your van.
@@superflyguy4488 so? you can still have realism and immersion in the game. also, you're missing the point. the old gas map had a police cordon, the narco and dorms map has it as well. why didn't they add it to the other maps? it's just a problem of inconsistency that's all.
@@walnzell9328 Agreed. Ready or Not maps generally have problems where the police presence is almost non existent. The only times regular officers were even present are in the DLC cartel map where there are ONLY a couple of officers guarding the first house, and the Homeless raid, where there are literally two officers behind an ambulance WITHOUT any paramedic present.
Surprised all the mods on your list still works since dark waters update.....For me only the latest gunfighter mod works. U should make a video of the mods that still work with latest update.
I would say the new gas station map is more realistic but this one seems more fun from a room clearing perspective
