Really! You all, are wanting free health care for life for players who are paid millions and millions? Are you telling me they cant afford to pay it. Nobody forces them to play. A construction worker needs to pay for his and his job is more dangerous and he has to keep working for double the amount of years a football players have to work. Do you guys have to pay for your healthcare! Of course you do. Give us all a break with this feeling sorry for millionaires. Tell them to sell all the jewellery hanging from their necks and wrists. Come on!

Blaming this on NFL owners is a cop out when the NFL PA agrees to not have guaranteed incentives in the CBA.
🎯
I want them to get the healthcare but the entire players union has to look in the mirror and take that accountability.
The career of an average player when the NFL first bullied the Union was 2.5 years. Players did not want to lose half their careers and have the other half affected by reduced revenues due to a cancelled season(if it ever get to that point). Don't forget that the NFL structured their media deals so that they get paid regardless if there is football played or not. They also used replacement players. Hence, they can wait the players out. It would take at least a cancelled season to get a fair deal. Also, a lot of players may even go against their union and play with the replacement players. Hence owners have huge disproportionate leverage.
Then you have teams trying to guilt players saying that if they do not take a discount to help the team win, they are selfish lol. They say that the players agreed to the salary cap hence they should consider the cap when asking for a huge contract. You don't get to cite the agreement when you bullied the other party into agreeing to an unfair agreement.
Who has the best product; NFL, NBA, or MLB 🤔??
Nfl, probably because they dont have guaranteed contracts though all players have some guaranteed money
Not the mlb...too many games for how many playoff teams there are now..162 made sense when there were 2 playoff teams or even 4 or 8 ..they should limit the games for health so playoff pitching is easier and we can get another dynasty for more than 3 years or even a title winner for 3 straight years...the current structure limits that so much...there is a reason the only team to win 3 in a row in the modern era was the 98 to 00 yanks who were the best modern team ever in 98 and survived a scare in 00 and were a worse team clearly by then
How is baseball able to pay so much irs not nearly as popular as it once was
What a travesty, a nother form of legal slavery 💯
Stop it you can’t go that far. Slaves don’t make millions of dollars!😂
@@blaketindle4703also slavers weren't free. People who say that nfl player making millions for a game he chooses to play ate idiots and have never studied slavery or are stuck in a victim mindset
NFL players are so WEAK!
Rob you can't be screaming from the rafters to pay the athlete then be against an extra game to supplement that money being spent
Got a feeling this is gonna happen NFL players aren't united and get fleeced every CBA
They will never be united bc its plenty of athletes waiting to replace them and the 53rd guy needs his check way more than the star qb's.
Exactly
@derekpowell9615
The NFL players were asked before the new agreement to vote to keep the 16 games schedule or expand to 17 games! The players agreed the extra game!
Why should they get lifetime care? They make far more than the average person and no one is pointing a gun to their heads to play. They should save their money instead of wasting it on five lambos and three mansions and set it aside into a fund used for future emergencies and future medical care. They already know the risks of playing football.
Dude stfu. THE NFL is the most profitable sports league in the world. They can afford health care for a couple thousand guys. Why do people like yourself side with ownership?
Tbf it’s different because of the amount of money they make compared to the average company
@@z-mane1438 just ignore people who make this argument.
@@z-mane1438 the most valuable companies in the world like Microsoft, Google, and Amazon don't even pay their employees a tenth of what these players get. And the NFL are like ants compared to those listed companies. The players are more than compensated and just need to be wiser with their money and not ask for a handout everytime. Those Amazon drivers deserve more than what these NFL players get and they don't get lifetime healthcare.
Not everyone is making all those millions tho. Some practice squad guys can only make around 48k a month. For four months out the year
Fans could care less. 18 games? That's more football. Bring it on.
Nah we don't need 9 loss division winners and multiple at or below .500 teams in the playoffs every year and less chances for teams to win every game lose every game stay healthy for playoff runs...we might have a 11 loss playoff team and 10 loss division winner one day
These players make millions of dollars and you want lifetime healthcare? GTFOH!!! God forbid you have to work a real job like us peasants to get healthcare
Not all of them make millions of dollars. Most don't get that second contract
Comparison is the thief of all joy

You've been brainwashed into believing that healthcare shouldn't be a basic human right.
ohhhh nooo, these poor millionairs who dont earn enough money to take care about something essential like healthcare by themself....
what those guys are needing is a mandatory coaching in general things of life before gettin payed 7 figures salarys. but now, since they are rich before even gettin into the pro`s and have no relation to reality anymore, its probably neccessary to create all those priviledges.
