Love it when you call us "Team", Kate. Makes me feel like part of the great sewist family! Great ideas, thank you.

Those ideas are great! My love language is making things for others but most people I've made things for don't appreciate the time, effort, or cost and simply don't wear them. Maybe it doesn't fit right out it's not their style or color. Anyways, thanks for the ideas and inspo.. Those might work!

Can’t begin to tell you how much I look forward to your videos every week.. pure enjoyment!
Love the ‘crafters’ apron/tunic. That’s a must have for everyone!

The tunic would be great for teachers and carers of young children. And gardeners. And woodworkers. And dog walkers. In linen it would last forever. I think I will have to make that!

My grandson wears a beanie all the while, literally, never leaves his head, I’m sure he sleeps in it, I haven’t seen his hair for years 🙈 I’m going to make him a new one for Christmas, thanks for the tip Kate 😊

I sew and knit, so I love the project bag! It really was designed for knitting notions.

Yes! It's so nice to merge the two hobbies together!

So many great ideas! My Dad would definitely enjoy the gilet. For my daughter I am sewing a lined drawstring bag and small tablecloth to go with the tea set she will be getting. I might make the Studio Tunic or Hey June’s Allspice Apron for my sisters-in-law.

Finished eight pairs of pajama pants, one pair of burnside bibs, and I’m in flight on a pair of pants and avoiding a fleece blanket. We’re getting there!

I'm currently attempting a sandhill sling bag for my sister in law. I've made it twice so I know roughly how long it takes and it's a fun sew so I hope she likes it! I'm attempting it in leather, which is going well so far but I'm dreading sewing the whole thing together 😅 then I'm knitting my brother a grey bobble hat as requested! I usually offer my skills to people in my family, and between me and my partner we can make quite a few things so that goes down well! Doing a dress alteration for my mum and a wicker harvest basket for my dad and step mum! Got lots to do 😅

Thanks for sharing! Great ideas! Last year I made my in-laws the DIBY Club Billie wearable blanket. Its a free pattern and was easy to make. Plus sizing is pretty forgiving since it’s meant to be oversized. They were a huge hit!

I've made several lasenby patterns, I have my sock knitting in one at this very moment. They are great, with detailed instructions including photographs. Her oven mitt/ kitchen accessories are also very useful.

Thanks for this roundup! The Wanderer Wallet by Moments by Liz is another great small wallet that's pretty quick to sew and can be really customized for the recipient.

Thanks for the inspo! I was thinking of making basic foldable bags out of ripstop nylon (so they are thin/light) to pop in your purse.

I love these videos! Really like your Christmas gift ideas because it can be so hard to know what to go for. I love the idea of gifting pyjamas but worry about waist measurements if you're making them as a surprise gift? Also like the apron pattern you mention. I don't know if this is ok to mention but please delete if not- a present that I've found to be well-received is the Triangle Eco Bag from Sanae Ishida's Sewing Happiness book. The book itself would also make a lovely gift for a fellow sewist.

Love the "Marlo"!! I've made it twice, I need to make more!! I guess for gifts as well...LOL!
Lots of great stuff there!! Do you sell the hardware for the dog jacket and the bags?? If not, do you have a link for a good place to buy these items from?? TIA
    Have a wonderful week-end! :+)
