    I made this recipe for the super bowl yesterday and everyone loved it. I added more garlic to mine and substituted jalapeños for the chiles verdes. Love love thanks so much 🙏🏽

    My recipe I just made tonight and just decided to compare it. I used 14oz of marinated artichokes and drained. Has to be marinated. I add 1/2 cup sour cream, 1/2 cup mozzarella, 8oz softened cream cheese, 3/4 cup Parmesan cheese, dash of soy, dash Worcestershire, 4 Oz drained jar of pimentos, 2 cloves garlic, 1/3 cup onion, 1/2 tspn chili powder (or to taste), red pepper, salt and black pepper to taste, truffle salt, onion powder, garlic powder. Mix. Put in sprayed baking dish. Cook 25 minutes at 375 and then add 3/4 Parmesan cheese on top and cook for 5 minutes more. All the flavors really came together. It was yummy! It's too bland for me when I do it the other way without using marinated artichokes and other spices. Sometimes I do less but it's got to have a little bit of spice in it for me.

      You have sour cream listed twice, is that a typo or is the second 1/2 cup supposed to be mayo?

    • @knowledgetracker

      @@Lisacarroll57 - typo. Thanks. Updated.

      Ok cool. I agree with using marinated hearts, more flavor!

      if you use the marinated artichokes do you still drain it and dry it

      @@TheKaity1965 - I just drain them, but do not dry them.

    What happens if i don't add the fire roasted chili? will it be bland?

    • @SugarSpunRun
      @SugarSpunRun  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      You will definitely be missing a lot of flavor.

    • @TheKaity1965
      @TheKaity1965 ปีที่แล้ว

      i wonder if you dont use the fire roasted chili if you can just sub with a few shakes of Louisiana Hot sauce or Franks

    I made this for the game and I came out good, is this supposed to be a lighter version of artichoke dip? Usually the ones I made in the past I think had more fat to it (cheese mayo)

    • @SugarSpunRun
      @SugarSpunRun  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I'm so glad everyone enjoyed it so much! It's not really a lighter version. I prefer to use the cream cheese to a mayo. :)
