Please continue to give us the information as you planned to. God bless you, Dr. Hauser! Video length, long or short, is always much appreciated, and we love your stories. As stated in past comments, I've had prolotherapy/PRP 7 times over 2 years in my back, neck, SI joint, and recently shoulders from Dr. Alderman at the Hemwall center in California. I had a horrific snowboard accident 2 decades ago, where I flew out of a snowpark doing a jump and landed in the parking lot on my head and backside, knocked unconscious. Being an avid yoga practitioner and lifelong surfer somehow was able to overcome the injuries but had whole body recurring pain, until my back gave out 2 years ago. I'm now 90% healed, have resumed all activities except surfing as I'm still getting PRP treatments. Decades of intense pain, and the crunching audibles during yoga asana in back and neck are now gone. Truly a miracle therapy for which I'm extremely grateful. If you need a testimony or clinical subject I'd be happy and honored to share my story. Thanks for all the videos and information you share with the public 🙏

    Hi doc I'm excited and nervous for my first treatment in about a month 💚🙏 make long videos the more we can learn the better and since most of us suffering from cervical instability can't work we got plenty of time to watch them lol. Got a question pls you mentioned pain starting in the neck and then getting low back pain too and I think that has happened to me (I don't have much neck pain, more neurological symptoms) but my arms and low back and hips are affected so much bc of my neck. I never had low back weakness or pain in my life until I messed up my neck. I was told that usually arm issues will go away too once the neck is stabilized and only sometimes the thoracic and shoulders need treated as well... so am hoping that is the same with the low back?

    Dear Dr Hauser, is there any way to reverse prolotherapy? I had 10 injections in my neck and almost 2 years later still have the sound of snapping ligaments together with Eustachian Tube popping and clicking and severe tinnitus... I had very mild foraminal stenosis and I believe the prolotherapy has thickened and tightened the ligaments of the neck, skull, chest, jaw, and halfway down my spine... Wish I could find a way to recover the natural laxity I had.

    I recently had a hockey accident where I fell suddenly skating backwards head snapped forward, chin to chest as my butt slammed on the ice then my upper body continued unfolding backwards causing my head to snap backwards where the back of my head hit the ice. I was able to brace my head from hitting the ice very hard, but I could immediately feel the pain in my neck. 3 days later the most tender point of pain seems to be between c6 and c7. Most of muscles in the neck and shoulder are starting to feel better but the spot between what I believe is c6 and c7, maybe c5 and c6 sis the most painful. When would I know if I should get prolotherapy for my injury? Do standard X-rays in neutral positions typically show ligament damage? Thanks for your insightful videos.

    • @CaringmedicalProlotherapy
      @CaringmedicalProlotherapy  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Dave, we are so sorry to hear about this accident. In our office we do an array of testing, including a cone beam, DMX, and ultrasound. We always recommend a DMX as it shows the body while in motion whereas a normal xray is at a stand still. A DMX is the most accurate as it is able to show instability during movement; when we are most likely to experiencing the negative effects.

    Can prolotherapy be used for spondylolisthesis? Have a friend that her surgeon wants to fuse her low back and she knows it will lead to more problems with her back.

    • @CaringmedicalProlotherapy

      Anita - we are sorry to hear about your friend, but we see lumbar spondylolisthesis occurring as the result of spinal instability brought on by stretched and damaged spinal ligaments, which can often result in a recommendation for a fusion. We have treated individuals with Prolotherapy and it could be an option for your friend however we would need to see her in our office for diagnostics before determining a plan of treatment - we would love to learn more about your friend's case! In the meantime, we do have an article on this topic if you'd like to look further. caringmedical.com/prolotherapy-news/treatment-options-degenerative-spondylolisthesis/

    Are patient given general anesthesia non intubation while these therapies are being performed and how long now the procedure?? Is it out patient’s and since insurance probably won’t cover this what’s the out of pocket expenses? Thanks for all that you do. 😎

      All great questions! A majority of our patients do not need sedation however it is available, this is something that would be discussed at your consult. Before administering the treatment, Dr. Hauser or Danielle would numb the area. Everything is done in our medical office in Fort Myers, FL. You are correct, we do not take insurance however after your visit you are given an itemized receipt that can be submitted to your insurance.
      We have a lot of great resources on our website www.caringmedical.com along with what to except at your first visit 😊 hope this helps!

      This is a great question Mikey - Dr. Hauser wrote a great article about this that we will share below. However, there was research conducted that suggested "that if you inject a simple sugar (dextrose) into the supportive soft tissue structures of the spine, that is the spinal ligaments, tendon-bone attachments, and fascia, there is a good chance that the patient with pain following failed back surgery syndrome can get relief and a strengthen spine." We would love to get you in for a consult and testing, please contact our office directly at 239-308-4773 or email info@caringmedical.com, we hope to see you in the future soon!

      Can isometric exercise tighten and thicken ligaments as well? I’m wondering if that’s why Dr Stu McGill protocol has worked well for so many. Pairing his exercise protocols with prolotherapy could be a game changer for all these back pain issues everyone has.

    I have a question, between PRP or Prolotherapy what works better to heal the cartilage and fix the problem?

    • @CaringmedicalProlotherapy
      @CaringmedicalProlotherapy  ปีที่แล้ว

      That's a great question and one we receive often. It ultimately depends on the severity of the instability and what the patient needs. Prolotherapy is the term used for the injecting of proliferating solutions. Some of our patients only need our dextrose solution where others might need PRP or stem cells. Again the type of treatment needed is something that would be discussed after Dr. Hauser reviews your case and sees you for an exam.

I have found that other providers are just injecting the facet joints and there is no other focus on the other major key ligaments. Thanks!
