Your example of using kinefx rigattribwrangle is so much more elegant that running multiple vops and creating edgetransport node nightmares. You're very kind to share all of this. Thank you.
Thanks! I think the gallery might be slightly easier to manage / update / sync across multiple computers via $HSITE - though I think you can sync presets as well... I should revisit coz I honestly can't remember why I switched to this from presets so long ago.
Looks like the gallery can handle a lot more than just presets, so it makes sense why you would manage everything in one place. Plus you can just drop in a gallery item without actually having to create the node and then apply the preset. Kind of like a quick hda. Can't believe it's taken me this long to find out about it :D Thanks for sharing! @@MarkFancherFX
Hey great tutorial! But Im getting an error at 5:30, when typing flaot p = chf("position"); H says Invalid declaration type for variable p. I cant seem to fix this.. thanks!
you and John Kunz are among most pleasant to watch Houdini educators out there! I could watch you both talking about Houdini for hours.

Any reason why you prefer gallery over the presets under the settings icon?
